Corinne Olympios Admits DeMario Jackson Did Not Victimize Her Corinne Olympios’ claims that she was too drunk to consent to a sexual act she engaged in with DeMario Jackson — in an open space, in front of reality TV cameras — got production of “Bachelor in Paradise” shut down for six weeks earlier this year. At the time, she claimed she was a victim in those exact terms. But now, she says that wasn’t the case. During an interview with Good Morning America today, she spoke out about the incident for the first time, and said that the only thing she was a victim to was the media’s perception of her. …OK. If you’ll recall, Warner Brothers did a full investigation of the incident and came to the conclusion that no sexual misconduct went on between Corinne and DeMario. Corinne says she still “remembers nothing from the situation,” But ultimately, she owns that she should have kept her wits about her so she wouldn’t even have room to question what happened that night. “I did drink too much. I definitely understand that, but I was also on a medication that severely blacks you out and impairs your judgment, messes with your balance … I didn’t know that you were supposed to not drink on [the medication]. It really just caused a horrible, horrible blackout. Just because Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali are no longer married doesn’t mean that the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? couple is done forever with reality television. In fact, it sounds like Danielle already has something lined up. The best 90 Day Fiance couple would have to be Kirlyam and Alan Cox, right? In case you missed it, Kirlyam Cox is pregnant and due in just two months! The worst couple on that series would easily be Anfisa Arkhipchenko and Jorge Nava and their toxic , sometimes violent relationship. Paola Mayfield and Russ are somewhere in the middle. Mohamed Jbali and Danielle Mullins may not be as bad as Anfisa and Jorge, but they’re still pretty close to the bottom. As a couple, they were so toxic together that they’re now divorced. In the end, while Mohamed came across as selfish and sleazy and probably a cheater , Danielle herself didn’t seem like a great person. Which is a shame, because she could have tried to present herself as a sympathetic victim. People would have ignored Mohamed’s claims that she had a strange, foul body odor if she’d made herself likable, you know? Instead, she comes across as spiteful. It seems like she set out to ruin Mohamed Jbali’s life as punishment for not having sex with her except for that one time that they banged . Mohamed himself isn’t a great person, either. He was okay, but that was weird ) In an interview, Danielle Mullins announces that she’s going to be on more reality shows. (Probably starting with From Not To Hot , though that’s really a guess) Specifically, she’s signed on with GR Media, who’ve represented … um, such esteemed individuals as Mama June and Farrah Abraham. And Danielle is crediting her haters for her continuing career. “Well, I can say that because of their hate, I’m going to be starting a new journey.” Ah, yes. Because of their hate. For the record, we think that people were hateful because she and Mohamed had an aggressively toxic relationship. There’s a difference between a person on television whose storyline people enjoy and a person who will get people to follow them. We have yet to see whether Danielle can attract viewers out of the context of a dysfunctional engagement and a crumbling marriage. Danielle Mullins says that what makes her so appealing is her popularity, though, so maybe GR Media knows something that we don’t. “Because I’ve been so popular with the 90 Day series, I’ve recently signed on with Gina Rodriguez [head of GR Media] to manage me. And she’s the manager of Mama June. So she has some big plans for me.” Again, these are also the people behind Farrah Abraham. So … if Danielle makes a transformation on From Not To Hot , is she also going to follow it up with a sex tape? If so, we’re guessing that Mohamed Jbali will take a hard pass. There’s too much bad blood between them, for sure. It’s been almost three years since we first learned that Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs are dating . At first, the couple was a staple in the tabloids, which makes sense. Much was made of the fact that this was Rob’s first serious relationship since his breakup with Kristen Stewart , which was one of the ugliest and most high-profile celebrity splits in recent memory. Apparently, those who robbed her Beverly Hills house got away with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of jewelry and other items. No alarm went off when the burglars entered the residence, and the extent of the robbery is not yet made clear since Duff and her family are still away on vacation in Canada. Hilary is just the latest in celebrity robberies, her recent counterparts include Nicki Minaj, Michael B Jordan, and Scott Disick.
Recent South Burlington High School Grad Arrested For Spraypainting Racial Slur A recent South Burlington HS graduate is facing felony unlawful mischief charges for spray-painting a racial slur on the school’s AstroTurf field. 18-year-old Tyler Austin was identified as the suspect during a news conference Friday, according to the Burlington Free Press : “I hope that this will send a message, as have other actions we’ve taken in this community, that we take these things really seriously. Our entire community is offended by this type of behavior. It’s not acceptable,” Chief Trevor Whipple said at a news conference. Whipple chose not to speak on the exact slur that was painted and who it may have been directed at, saying, “”It’s my feeling that to repeat them, re-inflicts harm on someone and I choose not to do that.” Whipple also explained why the incident was not considered a hate crime. “Clearly the law was written to apply to an individual, a crime against a person, and in this case we have a crime against an object, that being the field, and the victim being the school district,” Whipple said. While Whipple wouldn’t speculate about the motive for the slur, Seven Days VT reported that another 2017 graduate, Isaiah Hines was the target of the graffiti because he successfully led the push to change the school’s “Rebels” nickname. Seven Days profiled Isaiah Hines last month, highlighting his campaign to drop the “Rebels” team name from South Burlington High School. “I was horrified. Horrified,” his mother, Krishna Hines, said after hearing about the graffiti. “When the school called me to tell me what was written, I was in tears.” Hines says that despite graduating with Austin, he wasn’t familiar with the suspect at all. “I don’ t know him at all,” Hines said. “I never really had any sort of interaction with him.” Whipple also told the media that the investigation is still open and the prosecution has the option to add more charges after reviewing the findings. Austin has been issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Criminal Division on Thursday, Aug. 24.
