“Happy Days” Star Erin Moran Found Dead In Indiana Home Sad news for “Happy Days” fans. Actress Erin Moran who played Joanie Cunningham on the show, was found dead in her home Saturday, April 22. She was only 56-years-old. Authorities responding to a 911 call pronounced her dead when they arrived at the scene. “An autopsy is pending,” the Harrison County sheriff’s department told the Associated Press in a statement. She lived with her second husband, Steve Fleischmann. Muhammad Ali Jr. Was Again Detained Over His Muslim Name As He Was Leaving D.C. It’s been exactly 14 days since Muhammad Ali Jr was accosted by immigration authorities at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport after returning from Jamaica with his mother. Ali was interrogated for 20 minutes over his religion and name. Last night will certainly go down as one of thee most memorable Oscars ever! Not because of any incredible speeches. Though we heard those. (Looking at you Viola!) And while Emma Stone was given her Actress in a leading role envelope, so was Warren Beatty the presenter of Best Picture. If you saw the moment live last night, you saw Warren pull out the paper and look inside the envelope to see if there was another one inside it. We thought he was joking, trying to stall for time. But that wasn’t the case. He realized that the card was not right and handed it over to actress Faye Dunaway for her assistance. Well, Dunaway didn’t think too much about the fact that Emma’s name was on the card. As previously reported, Kate Upton has been chosen as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover model. Yes, you’ve likely read that sentence before. Because this is the third time Upton has been honored with this special issue’s cover, having flaunted her body for the magazine’s feature photo in 2012 and 2013 as well. Despite being named Rookie of the Year in 2011 by Sports Illustrated editors – following her first set of bikini photos within the publication’s pages – Upton wasn’t very well know five years ago. “If I got the cover, I would be really excited. It would be really amazing,” Kate said while shooting for the 2012 issue, adding at the time: “It’s always what I’ve talked about. I grew up in an American family, so it always was on the coffee table and to be that girl on the magazine on the coffee table would just be really groundbreaking for me.” The dream became a reality shortly after Upton sat down for this interview. And the following 2012 cover launched her into superstardom: A year later, it was off to Antarctica for Upton and her fellow models. “When you think you’re going for a Sports Illustrated shoot, you think beach – sometimes it can be chilly and there’s going to be wind, but when you know you’re going to Antarctica, you know you’re going to be freezing and half naked,” Kate said that year. “And I was very nervous because I grew up in Florida and I don’t do well in the snow when I’m fully dressed.” Upton was anything but fully dressed for this pictorial. Yes, she donned a winter jacket for the occasion. But she didn’t wear a top of any kind! Central Michigan University Republicans Send Out Hitler-Themed Valentine’s Card A Republican student organization is under fire after at least one member passed out a Valentine’s Day card with an anti-Semitic message. The card read, “My love 4 u burns like 6,000 Jews.” The group has since apologized but should more action be taken? The Morning Sun reports: A Central Michigan University registered student organization apologized via social media late Wednesday night after an anti-Semitic Valentine’s Day card apparently handed out by a member of the group sparked anger among students and community members. The Valentine features a photo of Adolph Hitler on the front and the words, “My love 4 u burns like 6,000 Jews,” and is signed “XOXO, Courtney.” The inflammatory card was among of collection in a bag compiled Valentine’s Day party the Central Michigan University College Republican’s hosted Wednesday night; that bag was then handed to students sitting in Anspach hall, according to a post from the student group. A photo of the Valentine hit Facebook and Twitter Wednesday night and the group posted an apology to Facebook while fielding angry messages. In response to the card several dozen people participated in a rally against hate speech on campus, and CMU President George Ross addressed the situation in a written statement Thursday afternoon. “We are deeply disappointed by last night’s situation with a Valentine card containing an inappropriate sentiment that was produced during a student organization meeting. This is not who we are as a campus community,” Ross wrote. “Such hurtful, offensive language, while protected by the First Amendment, is unacceptable and is not consistent with our values and standards.” This is just one of several instances of Republicans being outta pocket since Sunkist Stalin got in office.
