Kate Middleton Gripes About Life as a Mom: I Get No Support!

There’s a lot to envy about the life of Kate Middleton  She lives the pampered life of an A-list celebrity, but unlike the Kim Kardashians of the world, Kate isn’t forced to constantly chase clout by posting selfies or living her life out on camera. But while Kate has the option of hiding behind palace walls, she occasionally steps down from her ivory tower to engage with the peasants. And it seems her charmed life might be much more relatable than most of her loyal subjects might think. After all, Kate may have the support of nanny Maria Burallo, but she’s still a mother of three, which is a taxing job under any circumstances. Yes, Kate welcomed her third child , and she opened up about life as a mom while visiting the UK charity Family Action this week. “It’s so hard. You get a lot of support with the baby as a mother particularly in the early days, but after the age of 1 it falls away,” she told a small crowd during her visit. “After that, there isn’t a huge amount — lots of books to read.” No doubt many mothers can relate to the situation that Kate is describing. But the Duchess of Cambridge may have overplayed her hand when she stated that she’s in the same boat with every other mum. “Everybody experiences the same struggle,” Kate told the crowd. Yeah, not quite, Kate … That whole full-time live-in nanny thing? Yeah, most parents don’t receive that kind of support in their “struggle.” But despite some major lifestyle differences, it seems most of the young mothers on hand identified with Kate and appreciated her comments. “When she came in it felt like just another friend,” a woman named Dawn told People magazine. “She was really nice, she was easy to talk to and interacted with us all. And she listened. And when we got emotional she was a bit . . . you know! Dawn added: “She was saying we were brave to be able to speak about our stories and come out and speak about what’s happening with us. She was very compassionate. “I was scared – should I curtsy, should I say Ma’am. But from the time she walked in there was this presence and everyone just felt at ease. “She’s a mom and it wasn’t easy for her, as well, so it was really good [her coming],” she added. “That royal thing went out the window once she sat down.” So apparently Kate is one of those mega-celebs who possesses the mysterious ability to make the plebes feel at ease. For months now, reports of Meghan Markle clashing with her royal staff have been a fixture in the British tabloid press. Some say Meghan is a nightmare to work for; others insist that she’s not getting the respect she deserves because she’s not a “traditional” royal. As is pretty much always the case with this sort of thing, it seems the truth is somewhere in the middle. Yes, there have been some growing pains during the former Suits star’s transition from actress to duchess. And yes, members of Meghan’s staff have quit , but that doesn’t necessarily mean there’s any merit to the wild claims about her “diva demands” and short temper. Of course, that also doesn’t mean that there’s absolutely no truth to the rumors that Meghan’s American ways have created something of a culture shock in Kensington Palace. Whatever the case, she may want to sort out her personnel issues ASAP, as she’s soon to make the most important staffing decision of her life. As you’ve no doubt heard, Meghan is pregnant with her first child these days, which means she and Harry are in the process of hiring a nanny. And what sort of childcare professional does Meg have in mind for the position? Well, according to Radar Online, she’d like a “Serena Williams-style” figure (?!) who holds a lot in common with Mary Poppins. It’s good that she’s keeping her expectations in check. Fortunately, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have a few months to locate this super nanny. Meghan’s not due until April , and she and Harry have arranged for “celebrity nanny” Connie Simpson to join them in a “consultancy” role for the baby’s first few weeks. “The baby is going to have no earthly idea that she’s Meghan Markle or that she’s Prince Harry’s wife and in line to the throne,” Simpson says of the job. “They will just know her for being the one to supply that milk to her and give her that comfort.” Sources say Meg and Harry are ecstatic to have Connie coming in on a temporary basis, as they’re finding the hiring process “rough” as the job is apparently a “relative lowly-paid role.” Sounds like Meghan may wind up trying to convince Connie to stay — but if the salary is as low as they say, Simpson will no doubt be eager to fly away on her umbrella.  View Slideshow: Meghan Markle vs. Kate Middleton Feud: Tearing William and Harry Apart?!

Meghan Markle Gets Called "Fat," Responds Like a Boss

Meghan Markle is very much used to criticism these days. She’s receiving it from exiled staffers. From estranged family members. And now, evidently, from random strangers in Great Britain. On Wednesday, the polarizing Duchess of Sussex was was meeting staff, volunteers and beneficiaries at her new patronage, the animal charity Mayhew, when some stupid lady pointed at her baby bump. Yes, her baby bump. By definition, of course, this means Markle has a baby growing inside of her womb and, therefore, isn’t overweight. She’s just, you know, growing a human being inside of her. But the former USA Network actress simply can’t catch a break these days. Along those lines, multiple outlets have reported that a woman standing near Markle pointed at her stomach yesterday and yelled:  Lovely lady, you are! May the good lord always bless you…And you’re a fat lady. Based on those words, it sounds like maybe, somehow, this was meant as a compliment. Which is how Markle responded to it at least, simply replying to the lady: I’ll take it! Heck, it may be the nicest thing anyone has said about the Royal Beauty in ages. Earlier this month, another underling allegedly resigned , marking the approximately 79th time some staffer has chosen to walk away from Kensington Palace rather than work under Markle. Prior to that, Meghan’s awful half-sister said some more cruel stuff . Through it all, however, Markle has kept her head up in public and approached every situation with a smile on her face. Just prior to this quasi confrontation with the sort of mean woman, in fact, Markle had a very nice exchange with a different lady in which she revealed her due date . Markle and Prince Harry will be welcoming their first child (EVER!) in late April or maybe early May. We can also confirm that they do not plan on finding out the gender prior to birth. Many questions still remain, of course. Will Kate Middleton wish her blood rival well after the baby is born? Who will be the kid’s godparent(s)? And what Royal name will be given?!? Thomas Markle Jr.: Meghan’s Brother Arrested For Drunk Driving

Another day, another embarrassment for the Markle family. This time, it’s Thomas Markle Jr.’s turn to make Meghan’s in-laws even happier that they live an ocean away. TMZ is reporting that Thomas has been arrested by Oregon State Police for driving under the influence of alcohol. The incident occurred at 1:33 AM on Friday morning. Though police have not released Thomas’ BAC, they say the 52-year-old was “well over the legal limit” at the time of his arrest. Thomas was asked to take a breathalyzer after failing several field sobriety tests. According to TMZ his “impairment was obvious” to the arresting officers. Markle’s Chevy Silverado was impounded, and he was taken to the Grants Pass Sobering Center to dry out. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and unless Tom Jr. has some sort of lengthy rap sheet we don’t know about (which is entirely possible), he’ll probably escape from this situation with a slap on the wrist. But this is yet another indication that Meghan was incredibly lucky to break free from the rest of the Markle clan and reach the incredible heights she’s reached. If it’s not Samantha Markle slamming Meghan in the press, or Thomas Markle Sr. faking a heart attack, it’s Thomas Jr. dragging his family’s name through the mud with this sort of foolishness. The public was first introduced to Thomas back in April, when he penned an open letter  in which he warned Prince Harry against marrying Meghan. Hilariously, earlier this week, Thomas tried to make amends by inviting Meghan to his upcoming wedding . We’re guessing she was never planning on attending, but Thomas’ latest idiocy likely helped to confirm that she made the right decision by keeping her distance. Fortunately, the Royal Family of 2019 is a bit kinder and gentler than the monarchs of old. Queen Elizabeth II and company have reportedly been incredibly supportive throughout her family’s efforts to publicly humiliate her. So while it certainly sucks that Meghan was born into such an awful family, there’s some comfort in the fact that she married into a much, much better one. You probably heard the rumors that Meghan Markle is difficult to work with . Supposedly she’s turning the entire royal family upside down due to her demands. Meghan Markle is reportedly not too happy with the press. There are also numerous reports that she doesn’t get along with Kate Middleton. Meghan is not happy with the slew of negative reports about her diva behavior. It doesn’t help the fact that Meghan is pregnant with her first child . She’s going to feel emotional during this time in her life. Prince Harry appears alongside Meghan Markle. He feels responsible for her misery. It’s supposed to be the happiest moments in her life but she can’t even feel that way. Her husband Prince Harry can’t help but feel sorry that Meghan feels so miserable. He kind of feels responsible for her misery, according to Us Weekly. You could call it sympathy pains. Meghan is tired of the public criticism she’s been getting over her wardrobe and diva attitude. Meghan Markle made a sacrifice to move away from her family. But she knew what she was getting herself into. Even Vanity Fair, a prominent fashion publication, painted her as a social climber in their September issue. Meghan is aware that she made a “huge sacrifice” marrying into the royal family. This experience wasn’t what she expected, which is why her husband feels responsible for her sadness. Prince Harry has been tempted to lash out against the media for spreading lies about his wife. Meghan Markle wants to face the backlash head on. Prince Harry objects her decision. She has told him not to since it goes against Buckingham Palace’s code of conduct. Ever since the couple married in May, Meghan has been hit with a slew of negative stories from the press. The reports have accused her of acting like an entitled brat and for feuding with her sister-in-law Duchess Kate. Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are pictured talking. But is it all for show? Meghan has a lot going on as it is. Not only did she get married, but she got pregnant so soon after getting married. Now, she has to deal with the “public backlash” along with her own family drama. This has caused Meghan a lot of stress. Though she was a Hollywood actress, she’s never experienced this amount of negative criticism before. Back in September, Meghan wanted to “speak out” about her father, Thomas Markle, and half-sister, Samantha Markle, but she decided not to. Meghan Markle is happy to be a style icon and nothing more. Or, maybe it’s because Buckingham Palace told her not to go there. They don’t want to bring any more attention to themselves since they already have with this wedding. But Meghan is used to responding to negative stories on social media or through a publicist. She’s still having a hard time adjusting to this new life. Meghan is expected to give birth in the springtime. Hopefully, the constant demands and pressures of being in the royal family won’t cause any problems with her pregnancy. Samantha Markle to Meghan Markle: You Should Be Less of a B-tch in 2019!

Sigh. We had hoped that Samantha Markle would be one of those unfortunate trends we would be able to leave behind in 2018, like that stupid “flossing” dance, or talk of building the Wall. But alas Scammy Sammy is still clinging to relevancy in the new year. As you’re probably aware, Samantha is Meghan Markle’s awful half-sister . Meg’s story has been described as a fairytale, and unfortunately, it comes complete with bitter partial-sibling antagonists worthy of Cinderella. Samantha and her brother Thomas Markle Jr. have made it their life’s work to humiliate Meghan and cash in on her fame. Thankfully, they’ve been largely unsuccessful and have really only succeeded in humiliating themselves. Samantha’s most recent embarrassment was being deemed a “fixated person” and placed on a Scotland Yard watch list due to her worsening obsession with her half-sister. Sane people would take that as an indication that it’s time to back off and dedicate your time to something other than becoming the world’s most infamous stalker. But as she’s demonstrated many times, Samantha is anything but sane. Speaking to the UK’s Daily Star (London tabloids are the only ones who will give her the time of day at this point), Sam offered these thoughts about ways in which Meghan can improve herself in the year to come: “Your New Year’s resolution should be to be honest and pay tribute to those who have helped you the most such as your dad,” Samantha said. “Thank him for your college education, your career, building every stage you set foot on, but really appreciate the people that care about you. “So many people around the world don’t have anyone who cares about them and hopefully you will count your blessings and reflect moving forward in the new year and pay that gratitude forward to your children so that they also thank you.” she continued. “It all comes full circle… it started with dad, and you can carry on the legacy,” Sam prattled on. “And of course, I would add to eat more chocolate to sweeten your disposition for the new year.” “Tiresome” doesn’t even begin to describe Sam’s ramblings at this point. “You owe everything to your family!” is such a bitter less-successful sibling argument that it’s impossible to imagine she’s unaware of how pathetic she comes off here. That said, “eat more chocolate” is a solid resolution we can definitely get behind. Of course, when it comes to sweetening one’s disposition, Sam could very much benefit from following her own advice. Just sayin’. Meghan Markle Won’t Even Let Prince Harry Go Hunting

As has been well documented many times on this website and around the celebrity gossip universe, Meghan Markle just loves to break Royal Protocol . This is someone who tries to dictate her own wardrobe on her wedding day… who has often shown off her bare shoulders in public… and who had the audacity to wear dark nail polish last week . But this story is not actually about the Duchess of Sussex defying her very famous loved ones and their traditions once again. Nope, it’s a story about how she isn’t allowing her husband partake in one of these long-running traditions. You see, Markle and Prince Harry will be spending Christmas with rumored rivals Prince William and Kate Middleton. (Kensington Palace pretty much ordered this awkward arrangement to take place in order to quell chatter that the quarter does not get along in any way, shape or form.) For years and years, Harry would go out on Boxing Day morning with his sibling and other relatives to go pheasant shooting — but here’s the thing: Markle hates hunting. She hates it with a passion. She’s a big animal lover. As a result, insiders tell The Daily Mail that Markle has put her gorgeous foot down and will not allow Harry to take part in an activity that he’s done with his relatives for two decades. “‘Harry’s always loved hunting and it has provided [him and William] with a great chance to bond as brothers,” this Daily Mail source alleges , adding: “But now it looks like Harry’s shooting days are over. It’s the latest point of contention between the Princess.” Meghan’s aversion to hunting initally caused issues last year, back when Harry reportedly took part in a wild boar hunt in Germany. This stirred up a bit of tension between the stars and was the reason why Harry then bowed out of a grouse hunt at Balmoral three months ago. It’s hard not to admire Markle’s stance, of course. This has long been a passion of hers and it really does silly to just go out and shoot dead poor, innocent birds, doesn’t it? As a counter argument, however, Markle’s reputation is in tatters at the moment. She is being blamed for treating staff members poorly and for feuding with Middleton and of just b eing a spoiled, entitled American all around . All this anti-hunting stance has done is once again create negative headlines about her on the Internet. Just look at what we wrote up above! Perhaps it would have been in Meghan’s better interest to just suck it up this one time and to let Harry get out there with William and spray some bullets into a bunch of birds. It would have been viewed as an olive branch of some kind, as a way for Markle to prove that she’s flexible and does not need to always have her way. After all, Harry and her are supposedly at war with William and Kate. If some birds need to die in order for peace to be achieved, so be it, right? Meghan Markle: Too American to Get Along With the Royals?

As you’ve probably heard by now, Meghan Markle is reportedly feuding with Kate Middleton . Some say the situation has gotten so dire that it’s begun to tear at the fabric of Prince William and Prince Harry’s relationship. Reports of animosity between Kate and Meghan surface every few months, but this time, the rumor has lingered due to a series of events that seemed to lend credence to the theory that Meg’s not making many friends across the pond. First, in a rare move, Kensington Palace issued a statement on Kate and Meghan’s feud . Then came the royal housecleaning. In the span of a week, two members of Meghan’s staff left their posts in seemingly abrupt fashion. Assistant  Melissa Toubati quit  amidst reports that Meg had “terrorized” her and berated her in front of her co-workers. (Toubati has yet to address these rumors publicly.) Shortly thereafter, Meghan and Harry’s interim secretary Samantha Cohen announced that she would be stepping down after the birth of the Duchess’ baby. Of course, the keyword there is “interim.” As royal insiders have been pointing out, Cohen was never supposed to be a permanent fixture on Meghan and Harry’s staff. “She’s not leaving because of any drama with Meghan,” one insider tells Us Weekly. “She agreed to stay for six months to help post-wedding and because Meghan and Harry were hoping a baby would come soon after that and knew they needed extra help. “Samantha has a lot of respect for Harry and Meghan and enjoyed working for them. But her time is now up.” Okay. So this is the rare tabloid report that actually downplays the drama. The same piece featured insights from royal expert Omid Scobie who says he can’t fully deny the reports of Meghan’s unpopularity among royals and staffers, but he believes they’ve been greatly exaggerated: “I’m sure there are people in other royal households who don’t agree with some things that she does or with her delivery, and that is solely based on cultural differences,” Scobie says. “Americans are direct when it comes to business, and Brits are reserved,” he adds. “So, of course, some things can be misread at times. But I have yet to come across someone in the Kensington Palace household who has a bad word to say about Meghan.” Is that it? Is Meghan simply too American for royal life? Is it because of her pesky Americanness that she’s held to such a higher standard of behavior? We can’t imagine the British tabloid press losing its mind if Kate wore black nail polish . And it’s tough to picture The Sun teeing off on the Duchess of Cambridge form an improper curtsy . Sigh. Gather up your muskets, folks. We may have to fight another Revolutionary War. Meghan Markle vs. Kate Middleton: The Cause of Their Feud Revealed?

For weeks now, rumors of a feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have been dominating tabloid headlines, and it doesn’t look like that’s likely to change anytime soon. Usually, narratives like this one are easy to dismiss, but this time, there’s real reason to believe the reports of royal discord are accurate. In fact, the situation is so dire that in an unprecedented move,  Kensington Palace issued a statement on the feud . And is if that weren’t confirmation enough, Harry and Meghan are now moving out of Kensington and into new digs on the Queen’s Windsor Estate. Royal sources have also confirmed that Harry and Meghan will not be spending Christmas with William and Kate , as is customary. So what happened? How did this all start? Getting along is not only a familial obligation for these four, it’s a huge part of their professional duty. There are numerous theories about what drove Kate and Meghan apart (sources seem to concur that they began feuding and then William and Harry followed suit). But if you stick with the most reliable sources and the most believable claims, the timeline of this epic battle goes something like this: According to The Daily Mail , last Christmas, Prince Charles became aware that Kate and Meg were not exactly besties. He arranged a peace summit at Will and Kate’s country estate at Anmer Hall — but things didn’t quite go according to plan. A source tells the Mail that William “voiced his concerns” about Meghan’s suitability as a royal mate, which led to a “ghastly row.” The situation was tense, but the couples were reportedly able to put their hostilities aside in time for Harry and Meghan’s wedding in May. But according to London tabloid The Sun , Meg and Kate locked horns during the planning process, as Kate was openly unhappy with the dresses Meghan had picked out for her and Princess Charlotte to wear. Apparently, there was yet another argument, and this time Meghan allegedly took her aggression out on members of Kate’s staff. “That’s unacceptable,” Kate reportedly snapped. “They’re my staff, and I speak to them.” One insider tells The Sun that Meghan and Kate are no longer angry with one another, but they’ve learned it’s best if they simply keep their distance. “It’s a tricky situation, but it was a one-off, and they are determined to maintain a positive relationship even though they are obviously very different in their approach,” says the source. So there you have it. The good news is, it sounds like the situation has stabilized. The bad news is, there might not be any more amusing clashes for a while. Meghan Markle’s Weed-Dealing Nephew: Samantha Markle Sucks!

The battling Markles are at it again. Fortunately, this time they’re focusing their negativity on one another instead of dragging Meghan into yet another messy situation. You may have heard about Meghan’s awful family , led by her horrendous half-siblings, Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle Jr. But do you recall — the most chillaxed Markle of all? Okay, so technically Tyler Dooley isn’t a Markle, but he is the son of Thomas Markle Jr., who shall henceforth be referred to as TMJ, because we wish his jaw would lock shut. Tyler is a “cannabis farmer” who currently stars on a British reality show, which is basically Big Brother , except all of the contestants have sort of tie to the Royal Family. As a result, Tyler has been receiving a lot of attention from the British press, despite the fact that he seems to have no real ties to Meghan. “It was never like we had a super tight-knit family before to be honest,” Tyler said in a recent interview with The Sun . “But the fact that now the whole world gets to see how my father or Aunt Samantha behaves, it is like an open wound for everyone to see.” Yes, Tyler claimed he’s always known that his dad and his aunt were scumbags, but he’s pained by the fact that they’ve decided to flaunt their scumbaggery to the world: “That’s the hardest part, the fact that there is no privacy. It is hard to deal with. It is embarrassing and sad all at the same time,” Dooley said. “My father and Aunt Samantha have sold my grandfather out, sold my family out, sold Meghan out. It has been hard to deal with.” “The only family I have left now are my mom, brother and grandfather.” Tyler went on to reveal that he finds out about Samantha Markle’s latest attempts to ruin Meghan’s life the same way as the rest of us: “We are still close and fine but for the rest of my family, their lives are lived out in the tabloids and that is the hardest thing. “I have to read what’s going on in my family in the news because I don’t even speak to them.” Though he says he’s still tight with his grandfather — Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle — Tyler is admittedly a bit of an outsider in the Markle clan. Still, his shenanigans provide a welcome distraction from the recent Meghan news, which keeps growing increasingly dark. In addition to the reports about the ongoing feud between Meghan and Kate Middleton, there are new reports about who’s leaking all this royal gossip to the press. The latest to be accused is Prince Andrew, and conspiracy theorists think he’s keeping the press informed on Kate and Meghan’s feud so as to distract from the pedophilia scandal involving his longtime friend Jeffrey Epstein. Like we said, things are getting weird across the pond. Season 37 of The Crown should be pretty wild. Since Meghan apparently doesn’t age, she should be able to play herself.
