Kate Middleton: I Can’t Get Pregnant with Meghan Markle Around!

Doesn’t it seem like it’s high time Kate Middleton got pregnant again? She gave birth to her first child with Prince William, that adorable little George , in July of 2013, and then they welcomed precious Charlotte in May of 2015. That’s almost exactly two years between those two kids – so judging by that timetable she’s set up, we should actually be expecting that third baby any day now. But as much as we would like another royal baby, of course Catherine isn’t technically obligated to have more children. Maybe two kids are enough for her, and if so, that’s a perfectly valid choice. (Especially with two as perfect as hers.) She and William, both 35, don’t owe us an explanation for their long-term plans for their family, if they’ve even figured those out yet. Still, even though we know logically that their baby-making schedule is really none of our business, it’s just human nature to be curious about it. And a new report from Celebrity Dirty Laundry gives a pretty interesting explanation for the lack of new babies … Hint: it’s all Meghan Markle’s fault. “If there’s one thing that the Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t want to do,” the report begins, “it’s compete with this Meghan Markle for media attention and headlines.” Well then. Don’t get us wrong, this makes sense — Kate has been in the family for a while now, but Meghan is new and exciting and getting a whole mess of press . We keep hearing rumors that Prince Harry is planning on proposing to Meghan sometime this year, most likely in the fall. Can you imagine the amount of buzz surrounding that couple if he actually does put a ring on the star of the U.S. cable drama Suits?! We also keep hearing that their wedding would take place shortly after. And, as the saying goes, first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the whole entire world keeping an eye on Meghan’s midsection in hopes they might spot a bump. Basically, Kate knows that when it comes to royal news, it’s The Meghan and Harry Show right now, and if she were to get pregnant? Well, it wouldn’t get as much attention as it might another time. Middleton seems to have a rough time with pregnancy anyway, so why waste one when she knows she won’t be everyone’s main focus? Seems like a weird reason to put off having a baby, to be sure. But, as the report says, Kate cherishes her privacy, yet “there’s no doubt that she loves all the attention that she gets whenever she’s pregnant.” And hey, the heart wants what it wants, right? Besides, the report adds that Kate is “already having a difficult time keeping an eye on her two small children,” supernanny or not. We also know Her Royal Majesty the Queen wants Catherine and William to start doing more royal engagements like yesterday. Little George will be ready to start school fairly soon, too, and there’s no doubt Kate will want to be very involved in that. There are lots of reasons why she’s putting off pregnancy, apparently, and plenty of them, we could all relate to, to an extent. Alaskan Bush People Recap: KABOOM!!!

Alaskan Bush People went to a couple pretty dark places on Wednesday night. First, the family continued to deal with the tragic fact that Ami Brown has been diagnosed with lung cancer. The last time we checked in with this Discovery Channel family, patriarch Billy had told his kids that the cancer was Stage 3, but doctors were in the middle of determining whether it was Stage 4. Which would mean Ami really does not have much time remaining. The illness is so serious that most of the Browns left Alaska many weeks ago in order to be with Ami while she sought treatment in southern California. On the latest installment of this reality series, we learned more about said treatment. “Ami’s hurting pretty bad,” Billy told viewers. “We’re in for probably a lot harder road than we’ve ever faced. There’s no doubt about that.” Unsure exactly what the doctors had told them about what’s on tap for Ami, the family asked one of the show’s producers to interpret the news they received at UCLA Medical Center. “The radiation is 5 days a week for 6 weeks,” Sheila McCormack therefore explained, adding: “After the radiation, once a week she goes to the other building and they put an IV in her and she gets chemotherapy for four hours.” “What’s going on now is the most difficult thing we’ve gone through because of who it’s happening to – because it’s mom and because of what it is,” said son Bam on air. “It makes a house burning down or a boat sinking or needing 5 stitches no big deal. This is really difficult. I don’t even know what to say.” Ami may also need to go on a feeding tube because she’s down to 94 pounds and doctors say she needs her strength to fight the cancer. “All the things that we’ve overcome, all the obstacles that have been in front of us, taught us that whatever lies ahead, as long as we keep faith in family and God, we’ll be alright,” said Billy, clearly and understandably shaken up over this awful news. Elsewhere on the episode, Matt nearly died. Left alone in Brownton about two months ago because his family was by Ami’s side, Matt was found injured in a home explosion. The event took place when cameras were not rolling, but they picked up the action after medics arrived on the scene and found Matt bleeding from the head. “This is bad, man. He doesn’t look good. Safety, prep for an evac,” a production member was head yelling at one point while Matt was heard screaming “Oh my God!”  According to a TMZ report at the time this incident took place, Matt had filled a mason jar with gunpowder and cannon fuse and stored it in his refrigerator. It then exploded, blowing the doors off this kitchen appliance and into Matt’s skull. Back in California, already concerned about their mother, the kids were told that Matt was also in the hospital. “I don’t know what happened. I know that Matt was alone in Brownton and I can only imagine how heavy that must have been and the kind of mindset that would put you in,” said Bam. “I don’t want to speculate. I just know that he was trying to keep up a strong, brave front for everybody and I think he just cracked a little bit.” Matt ended up getting airlifted to a hospital in Juneau, where he was placed in intensive care. A few days later, he touched down in Southern California and told Bam that physicians used nine staples to close the wound on his scalp. “I’ve gone through all this, bro. It’s a lesson: life is fragile,” said Matt to his sibling “The bush’s rule one, the moment you take your mind off everything, is the one that it get – and it got me.” “It didn’t get you,” replied Bam. “It almost got you. You survived and that’s the important part.” Let’s hope the same ends up being true for Ami.

Megan McCain Pays Beautiful Tribute to John McCain, Slams Hateful Troll

While the political world responds to the shocking and sad news that  John McCain has brain cancer , the senator’s daughter has captured the heart of the Internet with an emotional tribute to her dad. On Wednesday night, five days after he underwent surgery to remove a blood clot from above his left eye, doctors confirmed that McCain has a glioblastoma. This is an aggressive tumor that will likely require McCain to undergo radiation and chemotherapy treatments. According to CNN, the average survival rate for someone with a malignant glioblastoma is around 14 months. In response to the development, messages of love and support have flooded social media, as McCain is one of the best known and most respected politicians in the country. “John McCain is an American hero & one of the bravest fighters I’ve ever known,” Tweeted McCain’s opponent in the 2008 Presidential race, Barack Obama. The former Commander-in-Chief added: “Cancer doesn’t know what it’s up against. Give it hell, John.” Meghan McCain, meanwhile, posted a lengthy note on Twitter that attempted to capture all she was feeling about the situation. “The news of my father’s illness has affected every one of us in the McCain family. “My grandmother, mother, brothers, sister, and I have all endured the shock of the news, and now we live with the anxiety about what comes next,” she wrote. Meghan’s siblings include: Douglas, 57, Andrew, 55, Sidney, 50, John Sidney, 31, James, 29, and Bridget, 25. Continued the television host and personality: “It is an experience familiar to us, given my father’s previous battle with cancer – and it is familiar to the countless American families whose loved ones are also stricken with the tragedy of disease and the inevitability of age. If we could ask anything of anyone now, it would be the prayers of those of you who understand this all too well. We would be so grateful for them.” Meghan was right by her father’s side when he underwent the aforementioned procedure at Phoenix’s Mayo Clint to remove a blood clot. This surgery took place on July 14 and was not considered serious on its own. But results from a biopsy shortly afterward revealed the cancer diagnosis. “Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the thoughtful words and prayers for my father,” Meghan wrote as a caption to the following image on Monday. “He’s doing very, very well with all of us in Arizona! I’m trying to convince him to watch The Crown with me…” On Tuesday, meanwhile, Meghan has to clap back at Twitter trolls, even calling for the resignation of Nevada GOP committeewoman, Diana Orrock…who actually retweeted with “Amen” to a message wishing death to her father. “You are a godless, horrible monster who should be nowhere near GOP politics – let alone society in general,” Meghan wrote of Orrock, who eventually apologized for being such an insensitive moron. On Wednesday, though, Meghan wasn’t full of vitriol. Just love, affection and respect. “It won’t surprise you to learn that in all this, the one of us who is most confident and calm is my father. He is the toughest person I know,” she wrote. “The cruelest enemy could not break him. The aggressions of political life could not bend him. So he is meeting this challenge as he has every other. “Cancer may afflict him in many ways: But it will not make him surrender. Nothing ever has.” John McCain was shot down by the North Vietnamese in 1967 and was taken as a prisoner of war for over five years. He has served in the senate since 1986. “My love for my father is boundless, and like any daughter I cannot and do not wish to be in a world without him. I have faith that those days remain far away,” Meghan Tweeted last night. “Yet even in this moment, my fears for him are overwhelmed by one thing above all: Gratitude for our years together, and the years still to come. He is a warrior at dusk, one of the greatest Americans of our age, and the worth heir to his father’s and grandfather’s name. “But to me he is something more.” She concluded as follows: He is my strength, my example, my refuge, my confidante, my teacher, my rock, my hero — my dad. Prince Harry: Plans to Propose to Meghan Markle Revealed?

Like Hemingway and the Jimmy John’s guy  before them, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will soon be headed to the green hills of Africa, where they’ll participate in a full-blown safari. Unlike those giants in the worlds of literature and cold cuts, however, Harry and Meghan thankfully won’t be slaying any large beasts. But that doesn’t mean they won’t have something to show off when they get home. According to Radar Online, Harry is planning to propose to Meghan during the couple’s jungle jaunt. The continent is apparently of tremendous emotional significance to Harry, who sought refuge there with his brother and father following the death of his mother, Princess Diana. “Africa means everything to Harry,” a source close to the Royals tells Radar. “It is where he and William were taken by their father to escape after their mother’s death.” And that’s not the end of the Harry’s sentimental ties to Africa: “He feels himself there, and it was the South African jewelry he gave to Meghan that first gave their relationship away,” says the insider, adding: “Prince William proposed to Kate there.” In case you still haven’t grasped the extent to which Harry really, really loves Africa, the tipster continues: “He really feels he has found a soulmate in Meghan, and both have even said they would love to live on and run a wildlife safari reserve.” At this point, you should imagine the source grabbing you by the shoulders, shaking you, and screaming about Harry’s love of Africa. “The continent, the Toto song, everything! Harry. Loves. Africa!” Rumors about Harry and Meghan getting engaged have been circulating pretty much from the moment the world learned they were dating, but it’s really beginning to feel like it’ll happen soon. The couple attended Pippa Middleton’s wedding together  last month, and the event served as their unofficial coming out party. Now that they’re a confirmed couple, it seems only a matter of time before Harry puts a ring on it. At 32, he’s not longer the wild child/black sheep (depending on whom you ask) of the Royal clan, and he’s spoken in recent years about his desire to settle down and start a family. Prince Harry & Meghan Markle: Wedding Planning Already Underway?

As far as we know, there’s no legitimacy to the recent slew of rumors about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry being secretly engaged . But that doesn’t mean the absurdly photogenic couple hasn’t already begun the process of planning a future together. It may not seem like a big deal to us in the States, where the word “polo” merely conjures images of overpriced Ralph Lauren men’s wear, but when Meghan watched Harry compete in the royal’s annual polo match over the weekend, it sent a clear message that these two are in it for the long haul. The horsey game marked Harry and Meghan’s first public appearance together, and served as a prelude to Pippa Middleton’s wedding , where the couple will arrive hand-in-hand, and neither of them will be wielding a mallet or sitting atop a 2,000 pound hooved beast. Basically, if anyone still doubted that Harry and Meghan were the real deal, she silently told them where to cram it on Saturday. Meghan won’t be in the UK for long (she’s due back on the set of the USA legal drama Suits on Wednesday), but her latest jaunt across the pond was enough to get the British tabloid media buzzing. Sources say Harry basically begged Meghan to attend the match, as he abhors doing public appearances on his own. Meghan was so eager to oblige that she skipped the baby shower of her friend Serena Williams in order to be on hand. “Harry was the one that encouraged her to come,” a source close to the prince tells E! News. “He hates doing these things by himself and it felt great to have someone he loves cheering him on. With Meghan, he feels like they’re a team. It gives him so much energy.” As for the Harry-Meghan engagement talk , the loved-up polo match has the rumor mill working overtime. Several outlets have pointed out the similarities between Harry and Meghan’s romance and Prince William’s courtship of Kate Middleton . Many have noted that in the past few weeks, Harry and Meghan’s publicly behavior has closely mirrored that of Will and Kate in the weeks before they announced their engagement. Of course, Will and Kate were engaged for about a month before they announced it to the peasants, a fact that has many wondering if Harry has surreptitiously put a ring on it already. Jennifer Lopez: Totally Controlling Alex Rodriguez?!

By now, you’ve probably heard the news that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are dating. In a way these two are such a perfect match it’s hard to believe they took so long to get together. Their mashup couple name even seemed to announce itself, fully-formed on the day that the news of their relationship went public: J-Rod. Perfection. After several years with an unknown backup dancer, (sorry, Casper Smart ) Lopez was back to dating a dude close to her own level of fame. Of course, the relationship is also more than a little surprising, as A-Rod’s fame comes with a healthy dose of infamy. The guy is widely despised by baseball fans as a result of doping allegations, massive paydays that were rarely justified by his on-field performance, and reports of generally douchey behavior. From a PR standpoint, he has far more to gain from this relationship than J-Lo does. So it’s not surprising that sources close to the couple say there’s a serious power imbalance, and Jen has the upper hand. According to Radar Online, Lopez has issued Rodriguez a lengthy list of demands that he must meet in order for their relationship to continue. “It reads like some kind of style bible,” one insider reveals. “He’s totally under her thumb.” It sounds far-fetched, but if there’s anyone in Hollywood we can imagine issuing a “style bible” to new boyfriends, it’s J-Lo. Despite the demands of the relationship, sources say Alex is happy to be offered the chance to serve as Jen’s arm candy. “He’s very lucky she’s giving him the time of day, given his bad reputation,” one tipster claims. Prior to this relationship, Lopez briefly dated Drake , and the fling apparently taught her some important lessons about the challenges of dating high-profile, successful men. “Jen’s not making the mistakes she made with Drake and Alex is banned from being seen with any other woman under the age of 40,” says the source. But A-Rod’s code of conduct doesn’t end with the company he keeps: “She’s also given him an approved wardrobe list and a list of instructions on where to stand next to her on red carpets,” one insider claims. “It’s even got the expected number of hours they’re to spend together in a week.” Damn, Jen. Clay Adler, Former MTV Reality Star, Commits Suicide

Clay Adler, a model and television personality best known for his former role on MTV’s Newport Harbor: The Real Orange County, committed suicide while on hanging out with friends last month. He was 27 years old. The ex-reality star was likely best known for his leading role on the aforementioned series. It premiered on August 13, 2007 and concluded on January 2, 2008, serving as a successor to Laguna Beach. The program chronicled the lives of several teenagers living in Newport Harbor (an affluent community within Orange County) and was structured more like a regular TV show than a documentary. Adler appeared on both seasons of the show, taking on the “role” of Grant Newman’s close friend and Chrissy Schwartz’s occasional boyfriend. According to TMZ insiders, Adler and a few pals went shooting in the desert on March 25. At one point, in the middle of firing off a few rounds, Adler turned the gun on his own head and pulled the trigger. He died the following day in the hospital from this gunshot wound. Law enforcement officials tell TMZ that no drugs or alcohol were found in Adler’s system, but the 27-year old had struggled with mental illness in the past. After Newport Harbor went off the air, Adler tried to break into the world of acting, earning roles in such films as Make It or Break It and The Fish Tank. Both were released in 2009. Adler got started in Hollywood around the same time as Jennifer Lawrence. The two struck up a little friendship about 10 years ago, posing together on the red carpet in a photo from the 2007 Movieguide Awards that is making the Internet rounds along with this sad news. Taylor Swift to Meghan Markle: Pleeeasseee Join My Squad!

Will she or won’t she? That’s the question now dogging Meghan Markle wherever she goes. In relation to the actress accepting a wedding proposal from handsome boyfriend Prince Harry? What? No?!? In relation to Taylor Swift asking Markle an even more important question. According to anonymous OK! Weekly sources, the singer is planning to befriend the Suits star and see if she’s willing to help Swift rebuild her infamous Squad. As fans have likely noticed of late, Taylor hasn’t just been absent from the red carpet scene or the concert scene or the awards show scene over the past several weeks. She hasn’t been filling up her Instagram feed with photos of herself and any members of her typically-viral clique, either, such as Selena Gomez, Bella Hadid or Lorde. “Taylor’s team has reached out to Meghan requesting a girly lunch,” the tabloid alleges, hilariously adding: “Taylor’s determined to include her in her inner circle and is willing to fly to Canada to meet up with her if necessary.” Oh, yes. ALL the way to Canada! You know Swift is serious in that case! Swift’s squad is more depleted these days than the roster of the New York Jets, whose outlook for 2017 is so dire than many fans are lamenting the loss of terrible quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. With no salary cap restraining her friendships, however, it’s unclear what has caused Swift’s Squad to splinter in such epic fashion. Although it was dealt a severe blow when Gomez started dating Hadid’s ex, The Weeknd, causing major tension between two of Swift’s best friends. But that at least means there’s an opening for the type of person to join on whom Taylor has kept a close eye for years. “Taylor’s always wanted to crack the aristocratic set and is trying to reconnect with Ed Sheeran, who’s in with the Royal Family,” the OK! source explains. “She’s met Prince William in the past, but befriending Meghan is her top priority .” By the end of this year, we may have a new Taylor Swift album on our hands. When the artist is not begging and pleading with Markle to meet her for a meal, she’s allegedly been holed up in a studio, cranking out fresh tracks.
