No longer freaking out about dropping weight, Ke$ha has dropped the dollar sign from her name. Following a two-month stint in rehab for an eating disorder, the artist on Friday this weekend that she now wants to be known simply as Kesha. She also posted a new online photo of herself on her knees, rocking some pink hair and a sweatshirt that says it all. “Had to go play in the sand,” the pop star wrote as a caption.  Kesha left rehab on March 6 and sent a message to her followers soon afterward. “Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music. I can’t thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me,” she wrote. A friend of the celebrity tells People that Kesha is “doing amazing” and that she dined with friends at a restaurant in Venice Beach two days ago. Ol’ crazy bish South Carolina Mother Held On $1.2 Million Bond For Attempted Murder Via ABCNews A pregnant South Carolina woman pointed to the ocean, locked the doors and rolled up the windows, telling her three children she was “trying to take them to a better place” as she drove her minivan into the surf, authorities said. Ebony Wilkerson even tried to call off bystanders hustling to rescue her screaming children from the water, saying “everyone was OK” as she left the van in the ocean, an affidavit said. Wilkerson, 32, is charged with three counts of attempted murder and three counts child abuse causing great bodily harm. Volusia County Court Judge Shirley Green found probable cause for the charges during Wilkerson’s first appearance in court Saturday and set her bond at $1.2 million. A date for an arraignment was not released. The bystanders and beach safety officers, paying no attention to the mother, pulled the two girls and a boy, ages 3, 9 and 10, through the windows to safety Tuesday on Daytona Beach. Later, Wilkerson denied trying to hurt her children, telling investigators she was driving too close to the water, “and the waves pulled her in,” according to the charging affidavit. Her children told investigators another story. They threw mama right under the bus where she belongs. “Mom tried to kill us,” they told detectives, according to the document. “Mom is crazy.” Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson said Wilkerson, of North Charleston, was in the custody of the sheriff’s office after being hospitalized for a mental evaluation. The children told authorities they had come to Florida from South Carolina earlier in the week to escape their father. They described a history of violence between their parents, and they said their mother had been “acting crazy and speaking to Jesus” since they had come to stay with Wilkerson’s sister in Daytona Beach. The sister, Jessica Harrell, didn’t return a phone call from The Associated Press, but she was worried about Wilkerson’s mental health and called a 911 dispatcher hours before the minivan ended up in the ocean. When she was driving into the ocean, one of the children asked her what she was doing, and she said: “‘I am keeping us all safe,’” according to the affidavit. The boy tried to wrestle the steering wheel away from Wilkerson. “She told them to close their eyes and go to sleep. She was trying to take them to a better place,” Johnson said at a news conference. Super Bowl Rigged? Conspiracy Theorists, Satire Article Suggest Broncos Tanked

Sunday night’s Super Bowl XLVIII result was certainly a joke, but was it rigged? The online conspiracy theorists are swarming following the lopsided outcome. The Seattle Seahawks didn’t just beat the Denver Broncos, they absolutely demolished them in every conceivable facet of the NFL championship game. It was not as close as the score suggests … and the score was 43-8. Super Bowl Rigged? Obviously, this has given way to the obligatory chatter that the Super Bowl was rigged, and Huzlers, site with an Onion-like penchant for satire, fueled the fire. Huzlers posted a “breaking” story this week with the headline “Super Bowl XLVIII Believed to Have Been Rigged and Currently Under Investigation by NFL.” Because few people know what Huzlers is, people believed this. The story claimed NFL officials “found clues that might prove the game was rigged” and imply Denver “lost the championship in exchange for a large amount of money.” The report goes on to say that ref Terry McAulay overheard Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning asking Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, “When are you going to pay up?” Of course, there is no evidence that the game was fixed or rigged, despite the first snap of the game almost decapitating Manning in hilarious fashion. Huzlers identifies itself as “a combination of real shocking news and satire news to keep its visitors in a state of disbelief.” It’s clearly not a real story. Still, the mismatch was almost laughable, and Denver’s comedy of errors – see video above – certainly made it look like they weren’t trying at times. Seriously, were they even trying to tackle the Seahawks? Did someone send hookers to the Broncos’ hotel the night before? Did they all see the Jamie Casino Super Bowl ad on YouTube and lose their focus? Rigged or not, something was definitely up.

Demi Lovato Reacts to Philip Seymour Hoffman Death: Addiction is a DISEASE!

Jared Padalecki may wish to consult Demi Lovato before sending his next Tweet. Not long after Philip Seymour Hoffman died of a drug overdose, the Supernatural star said his fellow actor’s passing did not qualify as a “tragedy” because he “[threw] his life away to drug. Padalecki even called the death “stupid.” But Lovato, of course, knows a lot about addiction. She went to rehab a couple years ago and has been open since about her history of eating disorders and drug use. “I wish more people would lose the stigma and treat addiction as the deadly and serious DISEASE that it is,” Lovato wrote in response to Hoffman’s death, adding: “Drugs are not something to glamorize in pop music or film to portray as harmless recreational fun. … It’s very rare when people can actually predict their addiction and even then, you never know when too much is going to take their life or take a bad batch of whatever it is their using.” Lovato knows of what she speaks. The artist admits to snorting cocaine on airplanes during the very worst of times a few years ago. “This stuff is not something to mess with,” she Tweets of drugs in general. “Why risk it? Addiction IS a disease. Please spread the word so we can take the taboo out of discussing this illness and raising awareness to people of all ages. “RIP Philip Seymour Hoffman.. An INCREDIBLE artist who lost his life to this horrible disease.. May you rest peacefully and in complete serenity now that your pain is gone. God Bless…” Bravo, Demi. Senate Aide Who Committed Suicide After Arrest For Child Sex Videos Left Letter Claiming He Was Abused As A Boy

Famous last words… A senate aide who took his own life after being arrested for the inappropriate videos and photos of children he had in his possession blames his own child sex abuse experience for his unhealthy interests. According to NY Daily News reports : The former U.S. Senate aide who committed suicide after being arrested on child pornography charges last month was sexually abused as a child according to a newly released suicide note. In the tell-all letter that claims to have been written by Ryan Loskarn before his death, the 35-year-old apologizes for his “painful and humiliating” crimes and reveals that his own sexual abuse began at the age of 5. “I owe many, many people an explanation — if that’s even possible — and that’s why I’ve written this letter,” the letter posted online begins. “I found myself drawn to videos that matched my own childhood abuse,” the letter reads. “It’s painful and humiliating to admit to myself, let alone the whole world, but I pictured myself as a child in the image or video.” Loskarn, who served as chief of staff to Sen. Lamar Alexander, allegedly tells that the first time he saw child pornography was purely by accident — while searching for online music for downloading. Somehow it resonated with him and he distorted his mind into believing that as a boy, the abuse he experienced was exactly what he wanted to have done to him. “This is my deepest, darkest secret,” the letter reads. Loskam claims that he only told three friends in his life about what happened to him, “and then fleetingly so.” In the letter he never names the person who abused him. Loskarn, who was found dead in his parents’ home on January 23, was arrested following a raid on his Washington, D.C. home on December 11. That same day he was fired from his coveted Capitol Hill position. Officers said they found 200 child-porn videos on a hard drive he tried to hide by placing it outside his window. Prosecutors said there was evidence that he additionally purchased DVDs containing child pornography between November 2010 and March 2011. When Loskarn was thrown into a jail cell, he was placed on suicide watch and met with a mental health professional that he opened up to about his crime and how it had affected others, according to his letter. But what he didn’t tell the professional was the abuse he endured as a child. “I didn’t think it mattered because I intended to kill myself as soon as possible,” he wrote. “But I’m sharing this with you because it is the truth, not an excuse. And I believe it played a role in my story.” Loskam apologized to his family, his friends and colleagues on Capitol Hill. This is so messed up. Man Trying To Commit Suicide Kills Pregnant Woman If he wanted to kill himself fine, but to take out innocent people is just fawked up. According to Kansas City: A former Sprint executive told police he was trying to kill himself when he drove his pickup truck across the grassy median of a New Hampshire highway and slammed into an SUV, killing the expectant Vermont couple inside, prosecutors said Wednesday. Robert Dellinger, 53, of Sunapee, is charged with two counts of reckless manslaughter in connection with the crash that killed 29-year-old Jason Timmons and 24-year-old Amanda Murphy, who was eight months pregnant. Prosecutors said Dellinger’s truck crossed the median on Interstate 89 on Saturday, became airborne and sheared off the top of the couple’s car, killing them instantly. The medical examiner’s report said the injuries they suffered were consistent with a plane crash. Dellinger was arraigned by video. He sat at a table and stared down for most of the proceeding. His wife, sons and about a dozen other supporters left court without speaking to reporters. Dellinger served as senior vice president and chief financial officer at PPG Industries Inc., taking a severance package worth more than $1 million in cash plus stocks, when he left the company in 2011 because of health reasons, according to documents filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Dellinger, who also held top-level posts at Sprint Corp., Delphi Corp. and General Electric Co., bought a home on Sunapee Lake in November 2012, according to property records. Susan Morrell, senior assistant attorney general for New Hampshire, said Dellinger argued with his wife over his medications on the morning of the crash. He left the house and began to drive around, growing increasingly despondent, she said. A trooper said Dellinger said he intended to kill himself. Dellinger’s lawyer, R. Peter Decato, called the state’s comments “over the top” and argued for low bail, saying Dellinger clearly has mental health problems and needs treatment. A judge ordered him held on $250,000 cash bail, which his family was ready to post Wednesday. He’ll also have to get a mental health evaluation, wear an electronic monitor, surrender his passport and driver’s licenses and not drive a car. He will have to stay in New Hampshire despite a request by his lawyer to allow him to travel for mental health treatment in Kansas, where he has property. SMH.
