Jackson Family is Livid You Know About Blanket’s Amazing Star Wars Recall

After videos of Michael Jackson’s kids Blanket and Paris surfaced yesterday, I took Blanket’s Star Wars monologues to heart and remembered my old lightsaber in the attic. But nefarious grandfather Joe Jackson doesn’t care that I pretended to growl at Darth Maul in the mirror using lyrics from “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin.” He claims the videos weren’t meant to be posted at all, adding he plans to track down the goons who hacked the private footage. Call me crazy, but there’s a chance the smooth criminal here is the grade-schooler operating the camera.

Watch: Michael Jackson’s Kids Let Loose in YouTube Videos

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Michael Jackson went through great lengths to hide his children from the public spotlight, so it’s understandable that his family is furious about them starring in a string of videos posted on YouTube. The bulk of the videos star his 8-year-old son Blanket, who acts out movie scenes, dances, and shares some imaginative tales. Jackson’s 12-year-old daughter, Paris, also appears in a few clips, one of which she simply says: “Monkey, please help.” “We don’t know who [the hacker] was, but we’re trying to find out,” family patriarch Joe Jackson tells AOL’s PopEater, adding the family “doesn’t want the videos on YouTube.”

Michael Lynche Eliminated from American Idol

American Idol may be an utter bore this season, but it can still deliver an emotional wallop at times. On last night’s results show, for example, Michael Lynche and Crystal Bowersox found themselves in the bottom two. After Ryan Seacrest revealed that Big Mike would be heading home, the tears started to flow. First, from Michael’s wife, cradling the couple’s newborn daughter. Then, from various audience members as Lynche sang Michael Jackson’s “Will You Be There” and, finally, from a certain celebrity gossip blogger’s living room. He just seemed really nice, okay?!? We’re down to Bowersox, Casey James and Lee DeWyze on the worst season in Idol history. Who do you hope takes home the crown? The night was not a total downer, of course. Bon Jovi, Daughtry and Fantasia all performed. Along with shots of Mike and Crystal, these artists are featured below:

Joe Jackson to MJ Fans: Back Off Conrad Murray!

In a surprise move, Joe Jackson is looking not to stir the proverbial pot. The late Michael Jackson’s father is trying to prevent armies of famously passionate Michael Jackson fans from exploding on Dr. Conrad Murray supporters … which apparently exist … at the doctor’s upcoming hearing in court. Joe’s begging Michael’s fans to not “lower” themselves to “their” level. It’s unclear who they even are, but in a letter to MJ’s fans, Joe says: Joe would also love you to pick up MJ’s greatest hits . “We would like to urge fans that are planning to attend to please do so in peace, unity and love for Michael. There should be NO violence, NO slander, NO yelling, and NO bad-mouthing or name-calling of Murray or his supporters.” Joe added, “By calling names, we are lowering ourselves to their level.” The elder Jackson says the message is simple, “Justice for Michael.” Never thought we’d see the day, but we have nothing bad to say about Joe here. Perhaps he’s just letting his own wrongful death suit against Murray do the talking.

Michael Lynche was rescued by the show#39;s judges five weeks ago, but he received the fewest viewer votes following his predictable rendition of Michael Jackson#39;s “Will You Be There” from “Free Willy” on Tuesday#39;s movie-themed edition. The credits have rolled on “American Idol” finalist Michael Lynche. Michael Lynche ,26-year-old personal trainer from Queens, N.Y., was cut from the ninth season of the Fox singing competition Wednesday. “It was tough,” said the soulful Lynche. “It#39;s

Michael Lynche Sent Packing On ‘American Idol’

The judges used their ‘save’ on Big Mike five weeks ago, carrying him all the way to the final four. By James Montgomery Michael Lynche on “American Idol” Wednesday This week on “American Idol,” the final four tackled the songs of the silver screen , and somewhat fittingly, Wednesday night’s (May 12) elimination show was a dramatic ride, one that kept the audience guessing until the last moment. Most assumed front-runners Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox would make it through to the top three, especially following their much-praised duet on “Falling Slowly” (from the Oscar-winning “Once”). Knowing this, “Idol” producers left both hopefuls in the lurch, instead revealing that Casey James — who, once again, seemed to be the favorite to be sent packing after he plucked his way through a version of “Mrs. Robinson” — would be moving on to next week’s show. That left Bowersox, Dewyze and Michael Lynche staring down the specter of elimination, though host Ryan Seacrest quickly announced that Dewyze would be joining James in the top three. (Of course, he did so by announcing: “Friends, Lee is headed back to Chicago” — a reference to the show’s annual visits to the top three’s hometowns — which most in the crowd seemed to interpret as meaning Dewyze had been booted from the show, at least judging by the gasps in the room.) That meant that either Bowersox or Lynche would be sent packing — and after even more drama (in the form of a Bon Jovi performance and a pair of commercial breaks), we finally found out for whom the bell tolled. It was Lynche, who couldn’t overcome his rather lackluster performance of Michael Jackson’s “Will You be There” (from “Free Willy”). When his name was called, Lynche — in keeping with his big-hearted demeanor — wasn’t bitter. In fact, he thanked the judges for saving him five weeks ago and said that he’ll leave “Idol” with only fond memories. “It’s been unbelievable, man. I just sit here right now, and I think, ‘I wasn’t even supposed to be here,’ ” Lynche told Seacrest. “Thank God for the judges saving me. I got to spend more time here, be with the people … it’s all good, man.” And with that, he performed the “Free Willy” song once again. It wasn’t exactly a Hollywood ending, but we’ll take it. Now, on to the top three. Were you sad to see Big Mike go? Let us know in the comments.
