The woman loses her son and they want her to pay? That’s cold. AEG Asks Judge To Pay Court Costs Katherine has to deal with AEG not be held liable and now this. According to TMZ reports: Katherine Jackson is irate that AEG is asking her to pay more than $1.2 million in costs associated with the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial … claiming many of the so-called “expenses” are bogus. AEG — which won the case — is asking the judge to sock Katherine with court costs. But according to new docs, obtained by TMZ, Katherine is blanching at a bunch of them, including: – $540,000 in models and blow-up court exhibits – $20,000 for 1,000 pages of jury instruction paper and other stuff – $53,000 for process servers – $118,000 unnecessary depositions Katherine is even grousing about the $9 parking fees tacked on for court reporters to show up for the trial. A judge hasn’t decided what, if anything, Katherine will have to shell out. Michael must be turning over in his grave.

Rihanna just keeps breaking records. Rihanna Tied With Michael Jackson Rih Rih said fawk releasing a suprise album at midnight like Bey…let me match the King Of Pop’s record. According to Idolator: Well, Rihanna‘s really startin’ somethin’ now (ba-ziiiiiing!). Thanks to her feature on Eminem‘s second Marshall Mathers LP 2 single “The Monster,” which bumps Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball” off the top of the Hot 100 this week, the Barbadian songbird has now tied Michael Jackson‘s string of 13 #1 singles in the US, according to Billboard. This puts MJ and RiRi behind only The Beatles (20) and Mariah Carey (18) as far as the most #1s, and it has them now just ahead of Madonna and The Supremes (both have 12). Of course, it should be noted that 12 of Michael Jackson’s #1s were billed to the King Of Pop alone (only “Say Say Say” was a pair-up, with Paul MCartney). Three of Rihanna’s chart-topping singles are features: T.I.‘s “Live Your Life,” Eminem‘s “Love The Way You Lie” and, now, “The Monster.” Rih’s next song will be about puffin’ on that sticky icky and that’ll probably break records too.
Justin Bieber has come under fire for a run of strange, pretty terrible behavior. He allegedly spit in his neighbor’s face last year. He definitely peed in a mop bucket . And he likely had sex this month with a porn star named Tati Neves . Bieber is aware of the criticism, but he makes his opinion on the haters very well known in the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter. “I don’t give a f-ck,” he tells the publication. “I don’t give a f-ck what they say.” The artist isn’t lacking for self-confidence, either. “I know who I am and what I’m doing in my life and what I’ve accomplished and continue to accomplish as a performer, as a writer, as an artist, as a person, as a human being,” he says. “I’m happy with the man I’m becoming.” Manager and close friend Scooter Braun is featured alongside Bieber in the issue and says no one in the team’s entourage is worried about the star. “Say whatever the f-ck you want,” Braun tells critics. “Justin’s not going to go crazy. He’s not going to end up in rehab. He’s not going to end up a statistic. Nine months ago, they said he lost his mind – he hasn’t missed a show since. So we’re just going to shut up.” Bieber adds that he’s grown to have a number of trust issues due to stories leaking out and is only really leaning on Braun and his parents these days. As for his professional role models? “I’m very influenced by black culture, but I don’t think of it as black or white,” says Bieber. “It’s not me trying to act or pose in a certain way. It’s a lifestyle – like a suaveness or a swag, per se. But I don’t really like to say the word [‘swag’] anymore. It’s kind of played out.” Does Bieber feel any kind of pressure when it comes to his career? Not at all. The guy is only 19 years old, remember. “Michael Jackson didn’t do Off the Wall until he was about 23,” Justin says of late performer’s 1979 breakout album. “Bad, not until he was, like, 25 [Jackson was 29]. I have all the time in the world.”
Katherine just won’t give up. Katherine Jackson Appeals Decision In Wrongful Death Case Trying to appeal this case and dealing with Conrad Murray’s release may prove too much for Katherine. According to Spin: Katherine Jackson is seeking an appeal in the wrongful death trial that declared concert promoter AEG not liable in the early demise of her son, Michael Jackson. The initial charge was that the company had hired Dr. Conrad Murray — recently released after serving two years behind bars for involuntary manslaughter — with the knowledge that the physician was incompetent. After a long and complicated trial, a jury decided AEG did nothing wrong. They declared that Murray was perfectly fit to do his job, though we’re still not convinced he’s a good candidate for a reality television show. While Jackson certainly died by the man’s negligent hand (this having been proven in a court of law), and certain higher-ups at AEG displayed some disgusting behavior in dealing with the King of Pop (pushing Jackson despite his flagging health, referring to him as “the freak”), the matter appeared to be settled. Katherine Jackson’s latest move is being alternately criticized as a money-grab and praised as an attempt to seek justice. Regardless, there was $40 billion on the table on the last go-around Do you agree that AEG needs to pay up? EPA
Things just keep getting worse for Conrad. Michael Jackson’s Kids Will Never Forgive Conrad Murray Michael’s kids are still dealing with the loss of their father and this dude had the nerve to file to get his medical license back. According to Radar Online: Michael Jackson‘s children will never forgive Conrad Murray over the role he played in their father’s death, according to their cousin, RadarOnline.com has learned. The King of Pop’s niece Tanay Jackson, the daughter of Michael’s brother Tito, insists the family are extremely unhappy the former doctor was released from jail in October after serving less than two years of a four-year sentence for the involuntary manslaughter the King of Pop in June 2009. Most upset are Michael’s kids, Prince, 16, Paris, 15 and 11-year-old Blanket, who think it’s a disgrace Murray, 60, is out of prison and is trying to regain his medical license after being found guilty of administering the fatal dose of anesthetic Propofol that ultimately killed the “Thriller” singer. Tanay told the New York Daily News newspaper’s Confidenti@al column: “I think a murderer should get a longer sentence than that, I don’t think it’s fair. We really feel like there were more people involved in my uncle’s death. But Conrad Murray is the physical culprit because he physically injected him. “No, we haven’t forgiven him. We can’t forgive him at all. I categorized that person as a murderer. I categorize him as somebody who got away with murder. People in those categories I just can’t forgive. He should not be able to practice medicine. He was a physical culprit for the death of Michael. That’s a big joke to us that he wants to re-apply for his medical license.” Tanay, 29, thinks the “Beat It” singer’s daughter Paris has taken Murray’s release the worst, as she is still struggling to come to terms with the death of her father four years ago. Aspiring singer Tanay says Paris — who was hospitalized after alleged attempted suicide bid in June — is a teenager trying to cope with adult problems and has resorted to self-harming on occasions as a coping method. Tanay said: “Paris is going through a lot of emotional torment. She is under a tremendous amount of pressure. She is trying to find a way to escape and it doesn’t seem like anyone knows what to do. This is a 15-year-old going through a 40-year-old’s problems. There are a host of problems that Paris can’t handle alone. “It’s driven her to the point where she wants to escape the emotional pain.” Hopefully, with therapy and family support things can get better. Dr. Conrad Murray has been receiving more death threats than he can count since his release from jail, and the FBI is investigating at least some of them. A group of Michael Jackson fanatics is believed to be responsible. The threats have been targeted at both Dr. Conrad Murray and Murray’s lawyer, Valerie Wass, who called out fans who threatened Murray before: “One blow to the head is all you need.” If you think MJ fans are insignificant … you are dead wrong, DEAD wrong.” (A direct response to her quote about the late singer’s fans) “Better get that hair brushed and be ready because [Michael Jackson] fans will be everywhere setting yours and Murray’s lies straight.” Fans are going after Wass because Murray is in hiding, but also because she confronted a screaming fan who claimed that Murray was a murderer. Wass fired back, after Murray’s release from prison , “If you were not so ignorant, you would know he was not convicted of murder!” And she continued to rant. Wass also remarked after her infamous client’s release that the crazed Jackson fans are “annoying, but insignificant.” That comment did not go over well. The FBI is currently on the case.
