Aleged Michael Jordan baby mama Pamela Smith is vowing to re-file her paternity suit against His Airness, despite calling off the dogs last month. Pamela claimed Michael fathered 16-year-old son Grant Reynolds, a.k.a. Taj Jordan , who urged her to make the legal claim against the NBA legend. Smith dropped the lawsuit without explanation and Jordan immediately lashed out, asking the judge to nail her with his attorneys’ fees as well as sanctions. Now Pamela Smith says she withdrew the suit because of a technical legal problem with the documents and not because she’s admitting defeat. In fact, she plans on re-filing the case ASAP . As for the “technical legal problem,” it’s pretty good … she forgot to remove her ex-husband from the birth certificate which lists him as Grant’s father. Smith and Jordan were apparently involved in the 1990s while he was still married to his first wife Juanita, something MJ has not denied at any point. Jordan refutes the paternity claim, however. Regardless of how this turns out, he and Yvette Prieto are scheduled to tie the knot in three weeks’ time.

Michael Jordan’s Mistress Demands Paternity Test Via TMZ reports: Michael Jordan’s alleged baby mama believes the proof is in the puddin’ … so she wants the former NBA star take a DNA test STAT … to prove he’s the father of her kid. Pamela Smith filed new legal docs this week in her ongoing paternity suit with Jordan asking a judge to force the b-baller to pony up some fluids or hairs … or skin — this after Jordan recently denied fathering her son, Grant Taj Reynolds … born back in 1996. In the docs, Pamela says she KNOWS Jordan’s the dad because they had sex approx. 9 months before Grant’s birth — something she claims Jordan’s NEVER denied — and genetic testing will prove it resulted in the pregnancy. As TMZ previously reported … Jordan filed docs of his own earlier this month, DENYING he’s the baby daddy — and claimed paternity for the teenager was established YEARS ago in a previous case. A judge has yet to rule. Isn’t it interesting that wealthy men only have sex with ladies who NEVER practice birth control?
The mother of Michael Jordan’s alleged love child never planned to file a paternity suit against the NBA legend, but the child himself reportedly insisted. According to TMZ, Pamela Smith had no desire to sue Jordan until her son pleaded with her to make his (alleged) dad admit paternity and pay support. Taj Jordan (Michael Jordan Secret Son) Video Pamela Smith is suing Michael for just that, paternity and child support, claiming MJ got her pregnant while he was still married to Juanita Vanoy. Sources close to Smith, who says Jordan knocked her up in 1995, has always had a good relationship with Michael and doesn’t need the money. However, it was her son Grant Reynolds (a.k.a. Taj Jordan) who desperately wants MJ to acknowledge him and urged her to file the legal documentation. Smith’s intention, her friends say, was never to “call Michael out” but simply to have the (alleged) father be a bigger part of his life for his sake. Allegedly, Michael and Grant have met a few times over the years. Pamela claims Michael has even given the family money and gifts here and there. Grant, 16, always had to keep it a secret, though … until he apparently decided not to anymore. The teen made the above video last December. No response yet from Jordan or his camp.

This is not one of the best NBA dunks by a long shot. It is, however, a pretty significant one for Bulls fans. Derrick Rose Dunk in Warmups Chicago star Derrick Rose surprised fans with an impromptu, non-verbal status report on his recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee the other night. While teammates warmed up to face the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 2011 NBA MVP, who’s been out since last spring, threw down a two-handed dunk. Not only did he land without visible discomfort, his elevation looked effortless. Not exactly Michael Jordan highlights , but music to the ears of the Windy City. Rose is still without a clear return date, but expect it soon.

And with Michael Jordan turning 50, there’s a surge of media around him. After saying in an interview that he’d take Kobe over LeBron (Note: the excerpt excluded the fact that Jordan said “in terms of championships” but whatever), Jordan said in an interview with ESPN the Magazine that he takes umbrage with the idea that modern players could play in the ’90s. Citing tougher competition and different rules, Jordan lists four players who could play in his era and questions even the mighty LeBron. JORDAN PLAYS his new favorite trivia game, asking which current players could be nearly as successful in his era. “Our era,” he says over and over again, calling modern players soft, coddled and ill-prepared for the highest level of the game. This is personal to him, since he’ll be compared to this generation, and since he has to build a franchise with this generation’s players. “I’ll give you a hint,” he says. “I can only come up with four.” He lists them: LeBron, Kobe, Tim Duncan, Dirk Nowitzki. When someone on TV compares LeBron to Oscar Robertson, Jordan fumes. He rolls his eyes, stretches his neck, frustrated. “It’s absolutely … ” he says, catching himself. “The point is, no one is critiquing the personnel that he’s playing against. Their knowledge of how to play the game … that’s not a fair comparison. That’s not right … Could LeBron be successful in our era? Yes. Would he be as successful? No.” We’re no basketball professionals, but LeBron James is 6’8 260 lbs. He’s huge for any era.
