Michael Strahan Dishes Advice On How To Catch A Baller Like Himself Michael Strahan admits to being unlucky in love but that doesn’t stop him from dishing out advice about landing a man like himself in his new book. Via NY Daily News reports : Michael Strahan wants a wife – as long as she’s not a gold digger. “I always wanted to be married,” the “Live! with Kelly and Michael” co-host tells the Daily News. “I’ve been very unlucky in that category.” It would take the right woman for Strahan to “Wake Up Happy” – the title of his new book out Oct. 13. After two divorces, one explosive, and a cancelled engagement to Eddie Murphy’s ex, Nicole Murphy, the former New York Giants’ defensive end is very specific about what he wants – and doesn’t want – in a woman. The biggest deal-breaker for him: gold diggers. Strahan recalls a moment with one unnamed woman as they strolled past luxury shoe shop Louboutin on Madison Ave. “She pointed at a pair in the window and said, ‘You’re going to buy me those shoes right there.’ “She didn’t get the shoes,” Strahan reveals, “And she didn’t get me.” Strahan, 43, even presents a set of instructions on how to get a man just like him in “Wake Up Happy.” Among the rules: “Physical Attraction Only Goes So Far.” Strahan admits that a pretty face and a hot body can lure him in, but insists “soul chemistry” is more important. “But men do put a lot of emphasis on looks,” he tells The News. Another Strahan tip: “Swagger is a Pheromone.” He adds that confidence can take a woman from a 6 to a 10. “Confidence is sexy,” he says. “It makes their face prettier and their body great.” Sounds like he’s got better advice than Steve Harvey. Do you plan on buying this book? WENN
On Tuesday, Jim Carrey's on-again, off-again girlfriend Cathriona White committed suicide . The Irish-born makeup artist was just 30 years old. Yesterday, Ariana Grande sat for an interview with Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan and…revealed that Carrey is her number one celebrity crush . We're sure she didn't mean for her comment to be in poor taste, but given Ariana's history of embarrassing gaffes (and the fact that celebs virtually always get a chance to screen their interview questions in advance), you'd think she would've given a less cringe-inducing answer. On the bright side, rumors of Ariana dating Justin Bieber started circulating last month, so she certainly could've picked a worse Canadian to crush on.

Warren Sapp’s Enemies Rejoice In His Downfall Via PageSix : After Warren Sapp got arrested in Phoenix Monday morning for soliciting a prostitute and assault, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneer was promptly fired by NFL Network. And players the outspoken Sapp blasted over the years are lining up to troll him on Twitter. Former Giants and Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey was fingered by Sapp — citing a source — as the player who ratted on the New Orleans coaching staff for Bountygatge. Shockey denied the charge and the two feuded on Twitter over the accusation. Back in 2011, he questioned the contract the Chargers gave safety Eric Weddle. Four years later, Weddle was happy to remind him of it. Thank you for the motivation the last 4 yrs. E really appreciated it. #whoisinthelineupnow pic.twitter.com/A0nDNMABZi — Eric Weddle (@weddlesbeard) February 3, 2015 Sapp has a long-running feud gong with Michael Strahan over their respective Hall of Fame credentials. Could the former Giants great turned talk-show impresario be the next to chime in? This is actually the second time Sapp had gotten arrested at the Super Bowl. He’d been arrested in South Florida and charged with domestic battery on Feb. 7, 2010 while working as an analyst for the NFL Network. He got suspended but the woman in question didn’t file charges. This time he wasn’t so lucky. Not only schadenfreude, but comedy gold. SMH! Sounds like Sapp doesn’t have too much support after his bad behavior. SMH. Twitter
Good job, Cincinnati! Bengals Re-Sign Cut Player To Provide Him With Check, Medical Insurance For Daughter’s Cancer Treatment Bengals Defensive Tackle Devon Still was cut over the weekend due to poor performance …but the team knew he was distracted due to his 4-year-old daughter recently developing pediatric cancer . The team made the admirable move of adding him to their practice roster to make sure he had access to a steady check and health insurance to cover his little girl’s treatment. Via DailyMail : A player cut from the Cincinnati Bengals at the weekend has been re-signed by the team so that he can pay for his four-year-old daughter’s cancer treatment. Defensive tackle Devon Still, 25, said he understood why he was dropped from the 53-man roster because, since learning in June that his daughter Leah has stage 4 pediatric cancer, he has struggled to concentrate on his game. ‘My whole world turned upside down,’ he told ABC News. But after failing to make the team on Saturday, the Bengals brought him on to the practice squad instead, which means he will still get paid and receive health insurance. ‘They could have washed their hands with me and said they didn’t care about what I was going through off the field,’ Still said. ‘It’s like a blessing in disguise for me.’ The move means that he will receive a weekly salary of $6,300, will have to travel less and get to spend more time with Leah, who is being treated in Philadelphia. The support from the Bengals – which includes allowing Still to miss Sunday’s game in Baltimore – comes after he was out of six games last season for injuries to his elbow and back. Speaking with Bengals.com, he explained: ‘They said if I keep working on my physical… and mentally prepared myself to focus on football then they can move me back up to the roster so I am not all the way out of the loop… ‘Just them sticking by me through this whole time, they understand exactly what I am going through. It is a blessing I am on this organization.’ On ABC, Michael Strahan called it a ‘classy, classy’ move by the team. The proud father, who is engaged, has also shaved his head in support of his daughter, who has lost her hair to her treatment. Isn’t that amazing? Judging by Still’s Instagram, little Leah has a bright and happy little spirit despite her illness. Hopefully she can pull through! Instagram
