It seems like only a few months ago that Bret Michaels was a walking STD who may have slept with Tish Cyrus . But the rocker reversed his image via his reality show finale on Monday night, proposing to the mother of his children, Kristi Gibson. “It feels awesome,” Michaels told People of the engagement. “When Kristi said, ‘I don’t need this ring, I don’t need the piece of paper, I love you no matter what,’ she took the pressure off.” Gibson turns 40 on Christmas Day and has been with Bret through the ups, downs and brain aneurysms. “I love him for him,” she told the magazine . “This is the best birthday and Christmas present ever. We’ll be virgins stepping into the whole engagement and marriage thing. And with our girls growing up, we’ll all have the same last name.” Gibson added that she doesn’t want a big wedding and the pair may jet off to a tropical island in order to tie the knot.

Marisa Miller: Nude for Skin Cancer Awareness Campaign

On one hand, we’d be thrilled if no one ever contracted skin cancer ever again. On the other, those that have come down with this disease have contributed to a need for others to screen for it… which has contributed to Marc Jacob’s new awareness campaign, Protect the Skin You’re In… which has led to the following photo of Marisa Miller nude. So you can see why we’re torn on this issue. The image below of of this Victoria’s Secret model in nothing but sneakers will appear on T-shirts and be available at Marc Jacobs boutiques in the near future, with all proceeds going to the NYU Cancer Institute. Although it didn’t benefit any important causes, Miller is also responsible for what may be the hottest photo ever taken. View it NOW .

Jillian Michaels is going from The Biggest Loser to the biggest step a person can take: motherhood. She hopes, at least. “Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last 🙂 have to finish out my contract,” Michaels Tweeted this week. “I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work.” The final season of The Biggest Loser kicks off next month. Who might replace Jillian? She knows. But she isn’t saying. “They already hired her,” she told a Twitter follower. “Using my last season to help launch her in season 11.”

It wasn’t that long ago that Bret Michaels was banging everything with two lips. The singer was taking full advantage of his rock star status, anchoring VH1 reality shows that made The Bachelor look like an actual search for love. It was all about groupie sex and bandanas for Bret. But then he suffered a brain hemorrhage and Bret’s life instantly became about more than STDs tests and tour bus liaisons. The man knows he’s lucky to be alive . A reinvented family man, Michaels posed with his daughters and girlfriend Kristi Gibson outside The Late Show with David Letterman studio yesterday. He’s on the mend physically and spiritually and we couldn’t be happier for this rocker…

First, Tammy Lynn Michaels was ” blindsided ” by her break-up with Melissa Etheridge. Then, she was denied $25,000 in court this week to help her cover the legal fees of their split and upcoming custody battle. Now, the scorned mother of two has penned a poem on her official website. It’s titled ulcers to gallbladder to pancreas to liver and then…? and, well, here it is: a dillar a dollar a trick or treat hollar need some help need some honesty need some real call ‘er no answer gallbladder pancreas liver ulcers MRIs ultrasounds gotta get it done on pennies now? somethings going on gotta get a job with barf bag in hand? and leave my twins with who? and with what babysitting money? a dillar a dollar a trick or treat hollar this too shall pass cuz i believe in miracles and miracles look like rainbows. oh. and we have to be out of our rental in 45 days. man, i love a challenge. It’s unclear what rhyme scheme this is in, but it’s apparent Michaels is suffering. Please give her some money, Melissa. At least to save us the pain of reading more of these missives.
