Apparently it’s the 20th anniversary of Buffy the Vampire Slayer or something, because Entertainment Weekly just got the whole cast to reunite for a celebratory cover shoot: Sarah Michelle Gellar , Charisma Carpenter , Michelle Trachtenberg , and… all the other ones I don’t really care about. And for the most part, they’re still looking pretty good. Well, except for maybe Michelle. I don’t know what she’s been up to these past two decades, but I’m guessing it’s not hitting the gym. Too bad. Continue reading →
Even if you’ve never been there, you probably have a friend who has: Sometimes a relationship starts too fast in the beginning, and falls apart just as quickly, but while everyone on the outside can see that it just wasn’t meant to be, neither of the parties involved can let it go. That’s the situation that Josh Murray and Amanda Stanton find themselves in, and sadly, it seems they’re not yet willing to give on their lifeless corpse of a relationship. The first hint that Murray and Stanton are back together came last month, when the couple was spotted out and about together in LA. Shortly thereafter, Murray seemed to confirm the reconciliation with a series of cryptic tweets about the joys of staying in an unhealthy relationship. “Crazies stick with crazies #breakovermorepackingtodo,” Murray tweeted at one point. In case you missed it, Murray and Stanton got engaged after hitting it off on The Bachelor in Paradise, ABC’s social experiment designed to determine if couples are more likely to get married if they meet in a hot climate while drunk on Mai Tais. To the surprise of literally no one (probably including the couple themselves) Josh and Amanda broke up shortly thereafter. Now, however, Josh says he and Amanda are serious about patching things up” “I wouldn’t say we’re back together, but we’re working on things right now,” he said on The Domenik Nati Show. “There’s a lot of things that happened, there were a lot of struggles… For me, I know when I’m in a relationship I want to be with somebody who’s my best friend, who I can trust, who I can be with all the time. We have to get to that point for anything to work out.” He added: “After the show, it was very difficult, just how everything was shown and portrayed. “We had a great time, we fell in love, we thought everything was great, and then it was tough during the season.” “So we kind of had to fight an uphill battle for a little while, and it wasn’t an easy thing to do. But right now, we saw each other about a week ago back in Los Angeles, and there’s a lot of things we need to talk about.” But don’t thinking that Josh is open to the idea of reconciling with any of his other exes. Asked if he would consider giving his relationship with Andi Dorfman another chance, Stanton was firm in his response: “Absolutely not,” there’s no chance,” he replied. “I really could care less about even talking to her again. He added: “When I ended that relationship a while ago, that was the last time I spoke with her and I don’t intend to do that again.” It’s good that Josh knows his limits. You should really try to stick on one ill-advised reconciliation at a time. Best of luck, you crazy kids!
Sometimes you're just driving along, minding your own business when you find yourself reading the license plates of the cars nearby. Then you laugh. Check out these 27 hilariously inappropriate license plates, but remember: don't take photos and drive! 1. Eat The Kids First Somewhere Jonathan Swift is slapping his forehead. “A Modest Proposal” wasn’t meant to be taken seriously. 2. Try Wine Is it red or white that pairs nicely with long commutes? Oh right, neither. Don’t drink and drive! 3. Come For You This person is either really, really a fan of playing chase or a prostitute. 4. D-Vorced! We’re guessing he got to keep the car. 5. With iconic roles in Scrubs and Clueless, we’re used to Donald Faison bringing us so much laughter. But today, Donald is bringing the tears. Seriously, this will very likely break your heart. Because while Donald is happily married to CaCee Cobb these days, she wasn’t his first wife. In 2001, he married a woman named Lisa Askey, who was a nursing student when they met. They were married for four years, and in that time, they had three children — twins Dade and Kaya, and a son named Kobe. Unfortunately, Lisa passed away this week. We don’t yet know what happened, but we do know that Donald and his children are mourning her death … and that they’re moving us to tears. Donald posted this photo, originally posted by his son Dade (we’re assuming these are the hands of Dade and his mother), and his caption was absolutely heartbreaking. “My son Dade is very brave,” he wrote. “Today he and his brother Kobe and sister Kaya lost their mother. Lisa Askey Faison.” “She and I never really saw eye to eye,” he admitted, “but one thing we did share was our love for our children. RIP Lisa. You raised three beautiful children into fine adults and I am forever grateful for that.” “May god bless your soul with light and love.” Donald also shared his son’s original tribute, which read “I just wanted to say thank you so much mom! You have been there for me when I needed you most.” “I can’t believe it has come to this but I know you are in a better place right now. I love you with all my heart and one day we shall meet again.” “You worked so hard and never gave up no matter how hard times got. R.I.P. mom and until next time!” he finished. Donald and Lisa’s twins, Dade and Kaya, just turned 18, but their younger son, Kobe, is only 16 years old. Donald is a very active father, and obviously a very caring father , so we’re sure he’ll be helping his children through what has to be a rough time. Our condolences to the whole family … they clearly lost a very special woman. View Slideshow: 22 Celebrity Dads We Love
It's been a long road for the Duggar clan from Tontitown, Arkansas. Over the past decade, we've watched Jim Bob, Michelle and kids go from the stars of a limited-run TLC documentary series to one of the most famous families in the history of reality TV. During that time, the family expanded (There was a time when they were a scant 16 kids and counting!) and endured some incredibly dark times. (The Josh Duggar sex scandals will rightfully never be forgotten.) Not surprisingly, the Duggars have changed as individuals as much as they've changed as a family since gaining fame. Check out the slideshow below for a trip down memory lane, and as always, you can watch Counting On online at TV Fanatic to get up to speed on what the Duggars are up to these days. 1. The Duggars in 2004 We guess khaki was really in that year. As for Michelle’s hair? There’s no explaining that. 2. Duggars in 2014 The Duggar family just a few short years ago. Much has changed, but some things never will. (Michelle’s hair still defies all logic.) 3. Michelle and Jim Bob: 2004 Michelle and Jim Bob back in the early days of them having way, way too many kids. Don’t worry, they went on to have many more. 4. Jim Bob and Michelle Today Jim Bob and Michelle have a slightly less atrocious fashion sense these days. Sadly, they’re 5. Josh and Anna Duggar on Their Wedding Day Josh and Anna in 2008. Things haven’t worked out all that well for these two. 6. Josh and Anna Today Somehow still married after YEARS of scandal! View Slideshow
