Miley Cyrus Does the Lohan of the Day

These pictures bring back memories of when Lohan was just 18 and at her peak before everything fell apart cuz the dude from The 70s Show broke her heart and made her spiral into drugs, lesbianism, random cock, partying, only I think Lohan showed off a little more cleavage, but I don’t really remember since it happened so long ago, long enough to make me think most of her career has been spent not working and being talked about in the media than actually acting in movies. This whole celebrity thing is a fucking joke. It annoys me. But I am excited to see fame chew up Miley and spit her out, you know as she tries to re-invent herself in “Adult Roles” just because it’s more entertaining than any movie or TV show she’s ever been in. Here she is doin’ the Lohan, predicting what’s to come… Pics via Fame

Miley Cyrus to Serve as Mentor to American Idol Hopefuls, Perform on Show This Week

She might hate the Internet , her own hit Disney show and the entire country music genre, but Miley Cyrus still has plenty of passion and expertise to go around. The teen queen will be the celebrity mentor on American Idol this week, Fox confirms. Tuesday night will reportedly feature a Billboard No. 1 hits-themed show. Of the 11 contestants left, three are teens: last week’s sensation Siobhan Magnus , 19, Aaron Kelly, 16, and Katie Stevens, 17. Tim Urban is just 20 years old. Of course, the three teens all took on The Rolling Stones – more than triple their age – and pleased the judges with their homages to the rock gods last week. Will Miley be able to steer them in the right direction this week? Or will the girlfriend of Liam Hemsworth act like she’s better than them? We’ll soon find out … Miley Cyrus is promoting The Last Song this week. No doubt there will be a plug – or maybe even a track – or two from that tear-jerker when she comes to American Idol. On Wednesday’s results show, Miley will be back to perform her hit song, “When I Look At You,” while new couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato will duet on “Make A Wave.” In other words, clear the space on your DVR now, because this watershed moment in teen music history may be one you hold onto and savor for many years to come.

Miley Cyrus Says She And Liam Hemsworth ‘Make Each Other Look Good’

Miley spoke on ‘Good Morning America’ about working with her ‘Last Song’ co-star and boyfriend. By Jocelyn Vena Miley Cyrus on “Good Morning America” on Monday Photo: ABC Miley Cyrus stopped by “Good Morning America” on Monday (March 22) to promote her new movie, “The Last Song,” opening March 31. And the conversation inevitably turned to her off-screen relationship with co-star Liam Hemsworth . “It was really good [working with Liam], because it makes you want to come to work and … look good,” said Cyrus, who was dressed in a sparkly blouse, tights and shorts. “I’m trying to make people see my work as a real actress and more mature. And when you have someone who loves you and wants you to do well, you really want to help each other, and you want to make each other look good. We both were trying to get our point across [that] we can do more than [what people know us as].” While filming the movie, Cyrus found a very unique way of keeping herself entertained, and that included paying off co-star Bobby Coleman, who plays her younger brother. “He is probably one of the most hysterical kids I’ve met in my life,” she said. “This kid will do anything for five bucks. By the end he literally had a receipt for me. It was like $80. I paid him 10 bucks to go ask Liam if he liked me. I sent him back and forth. It was really funny.” Cyrus also praised her onscreen dad, Greg Kinnear, for keeping the tone on the set light and fun. “He is very laid back, but he’s really funny,” she said. “Mostly, he plays deeper darker roles, and he’s so hilarious. … So many times I felt like I was back on the [‘Hannah Montana’] set with my dad.” “The Last Song” is part of Cyrus’ plan to take on more mature roles, but she said that leaving “Hannah Montana” behind hasn’t been as easy she thought it was going to be. “It’s bittersweet. It’s been kind of hard,” she said. “It’s like, ‘Oh my gosh, I don’t have this to fall back on.’ We’ve been doing this for five years, then we start to think this is our life and to leave this behind is hard. [But we’re] excited to go on to new chapters in our life. It’s given me such a great start.” Are you ready to see Miley Cyrus play a more mature character? Will you miss “Hannah Montana”? Miley Cyrus Makes Great Impression on Liam Hemsworth’s Parents

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth might not be engaged, as rumors have suggested, but they recently took a big step in their relationship: Miley met Liam’s parents. How did it go? “They loved her,” Liam told Michael Yo on E!’s Daily 10, referring to a recent trip the couple took to the actor’s hometown in Australia. He added: “It was really cool to show Miley where I’m from and how I grew up, and it’s a completely different world to where she’s from. We don’t have shopping centers or traffic lights or anything like that, where I live at least.” Cyrus didn’t seem to mind the changes. “It was awesome, I really like Australia,” she said. “You know what? The media’s really cool there, too. Even though there’s paparazzi, they kind of stay their distance; it was kind of like Nashville by the sea actually, the town he’s from.” To read what Miley has to say about celebrity gossip, gay marriage and other topics, check out her interview in Parade .

Miley Cyrus Warns Kids About The Internet

Disney star Miley Cyrus has urged kids not to use the internet as it’s “dangerous” and wastes their lives. The 17-year-old admitted that she is enjoying her life a lot more since she closed down her page on social networking site Twitter when speaking to Movieline. “I’m telling kids, don’t go on the internet. It’s dangerous, it’s not fun, it wastes your life, and you should be outside playing sports or something. I just think it’s kind of lame. I feel like I hang out with my friends and they’re so busy taking pictures of what they’re doing and putting them on Facebook that they’re not really enjoying what they’re doing.” This is usually where we’d make some joke about her being from the South or the backwoods but the Hannah Montana star makes an absolutely great point about how people today are living their lives on social networking sites instead of in reality. Nice one Miley!

Miley Cyrus to the Internet: You Suck!

Despite coming of age in an era where websites and wired fans fawn over her every move and contribute to her fame, Miley Cyrus has no love for the online world. THG has no love for her, so it looks like we’re even! At the very least, you have to give Miley props for practicing what she preaches, having axed her Twitter to focus on being truer to herself and BF Liam Hemsworth . But bashing the Internets in general? Watch it, girl. It’s one thing to call out your critics , it’s another to bite the cyber hand that feeds you, no matter your intent. “I’m telling kids, don’t go on the internet,” Miley told Movieline . “It’s dangerous, it’s not fun, it wastes your life. You should be outside playing sports or something.” EAT IT : That’s basically Miley Cyrus’ message to the World Wide Web . “I just think it’s kind of lame. I feel like I hang out with my friends and they’re so busy taking pictures of what they’re doing and putting them on Facebook.” “They’re not really enjoying what they’re doing. You’re going to look back and have a million pictures, but you’re not actually going to be in any of them.” “Because you’re not having fun, you’re too busy clicking away. So I think just enjoy the moment you’re in, and stop telling people about it. So just enjoy it.” Okay, we have to agree with Miley on that philosophy. It’s very mature. We’re impressed that a huge star can reflect and maintain that kind of perspective. However, she’s sort of insulting her fans at the same time, and there’s certainly a place for everything in moderation. Click here to follow THG on Twitter !
