Earlier this week, Uma Thurman’s new face made headlines after the Kill Bill actress attended a red carpet event looking markedly different from how we remembered her. It’s not as though Thurman was being unfairly criticized for aging. The photo on the right was taken less than a year ago, so the dramatic change in Uma’s appearance was widely believed to be the result of plastic surgery, or at least some over-ambitious Botox treatments. Thurman’s makeup artist responded to the criticism yesterday with a whole bunch of esoteric cosmetician jargon that did absolutely nothing to clear up the issue. Today, Thurman spoke out on the controversy herself: Uma Thurman Talks Makeup Mishap “I guess nobody liked my makeup,” Thurman tells Today’s Savannah Guthrie in the clip above. “I’ve been doing this for years and years and years. People say nice things and they say mean things…You take the good with the bad.” Uma looks like her old self in the video, so we’re inclined to believe her makeup explanation. Hopefully, it’s a lesson learned, and she won’t go quite as heavy on the cosmetics in the future. After all, this is a woman who looked gorgeous spattered in blood and rocking a yellow jumpsuit. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith are famous for their laid back parenting techniques. Of course, “parenting” might be a strong word. Now OK! Magazine is reporting that Will and Jada won’t let their kids hang out with the youngsters from the Kardashian/Jenner household. Could it be true? Uhhh … it COULD be. But it almost certainly isn’t. Let’s look at the facts: 1) Jada has absolutely no problem with her daughter Willow Smith in bed with Moises Arias , her family friend, despite her being 13 and him 20 at the time. 2) Neither Jada nor Will seem to have a problem with the zillions of pictures and videos of the Smith kids with the Jenner girls online.
