Image credit: devinlynnx /Flickr Do you have the urge to run and hide when you see your child or co-worker approaching with that all too familiar order form? Does your mind automatically turn to visions of stale caramel corn moldering in the office kitchen? Or maybe you shudder at the thought of a giant footprint of the scented candles and wrapping paper sitting on your re-gifting shelf in the hall closet? ‘Hangover’ Mob Boss Leads Best Villain Nominees At MTV Movie Awards

Christoph Waltz, Stephen Lang, Tom Felton and Helena Bonham Carter battle Ken Jeong to be named baddest of the bad. By Jocelyn Vena Ian Anthony Dale and Ken Jeong in “The Hangover” Photo: Fox There are very few characters who can get your blood churning like this year’s contenders for Best Villain at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards , airing this Sunday, June 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Everyone from a tyrannous queen and a Nazi commander to a mob boss and a power-hungry colonel are in the running to be named baddest of the bad. First up is “Inglourious Basterds” star Christoph Waltz , whose stone-cold Nazi colonel, Hans Landa, proudly accepts his “Jew hunter” nickname. Will he hunt down a Golden Popcorn? Only time will tell. Being the only lady nominated might work in Helena Bonham Carter’s favor. Playing the wicked Red Queen in “Alice in Wonderland,” she certainly held the imaginations of moviegoers everywhere, but can she do the same for Movie Awards voters? All good comedies need an antagonist, and the guys in “The Hangover” found theirs in Ken Jeong. What did viewers learn from Jeong’s turn as Mr. Chow? Just hope a mob boss’ casino winnings don’t get lost. We pray he doesn’t lose at the show. Yikes! The stars of “Avatar” proved that even in a world that only exists in the mind of James Cameron, the characters can feel as real as the people they know. And Stephen Lang’s portrayal of Colonel Miles Quaritch had fans fearing for the Na’vi. Tom Felton gave Daniel Radcliffe a run for his magic wand in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.” Playing Harry’s magical archrival, Draco Malfoy, Felton was a worthy competitor for Harry, but can he cast a spell on the Movie Awards? Who do you think is bad enough to win at the big show? Discuss in the comments! Don’t miss the live red-carpet coverage, exclusive movie clips and fist-pumping action on MTV News’ “Jersey Shore Blow-Out at the MTV Movie Awards,” airing live from Los Angeles this Sunday, June 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Then stay tuned for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Spencer Pratt Speaks on Heidi Montag Separation

Spencer Pratt issued his first comments on his separation from Heidi Montag yesterday, but that’s almost less noteworthy than his mountain man militia garb. No word on whether Spencer is training for or why he wore heavy gear, a walkie talkie and a water bottle in the middle of the L.A. metro area, but no matter. Speaking to TMZ for the first time since his split with Heidi Montag , the man seemed rather out of his element, like he’d finally met a story he couldn’t control. At one point, Spencer Pratt even uttered two foreign words – no comment – when asked about the separation. He says Heidi moved out and he’s in the dark. When and if he’s served divorce papers, Spencer says he’ll have an opinion on the subject. For now, he learns about Heidi from the media, just like we do. MALIBU MILITIA : Spencer Pratt looks to be training for some form of combat as he sprints down a trail. Lose the hat, man. [Photo: PacificCoastNewsOnline.com] The bearded, ring-clad 26-year-old did say that Heidi is still his ideal mate, and hopes for a reconciliation after time apart. But will her new show change his mind? Spencer insinuated that Jennifer Bunney is using Montag to get famous, and that if their new “girl time” show involves them going to clubs trolling for guys? Well … A man’s gotta move on at some point. You can tell from his video interview that for once in his life, he doesn’t know what to say. Makes one think the split is real. Flanked by an unnamed friend, Spencer also claims he’s running out of cash, but at least his credit cards still work. Hang in there, man. We’re all pulling for you. Whose side are you on?

The Game Applauds 50 Cent’s Weight Loss, Dedication To Acting

‘I saw a dude that’s trying to win an award for playing a cancer patient,’ Game says of his longtime adversary. By Shaheem Reid, with reporting by Sway Calloway 50 Cent Photo: G-Unit The Game says there is absolutely no dissing on his upcoming LP, The R.E.D Album . He’s in such a peaceful place, even in private, that Game told his friends that he declined to throw jabs at 50 Cent’s much-publicized weight loss for his “Things Fall Apart” film, photos of which rocketed across the Internet last week. “All my boys was sending me pictures of 50 where he sucked up, looking like a smoker,” lost all the weight,” Game told MTV News on Wednesday (June 2). “They were looking for me to give them some type of funny feedback or clown with it. But all I saw was a dude that’s trying to win an award for playing a cancer patient and really look like a cancer patient. I do my own assessment of character judgment. Right here in my mind, I was like, ‘See? Progress!’ That’s what I’m on today, man. But I have the right to get in your ass if I need to.” Game and 50 have had a contentious relationship ever since Game’s acrimonious split from G-Unit some five years ago. The R.E.D. Album isn’t coming out next month as planned. Game is still working on the opus. “It was July 6,” he says. “But they done pushed it back three times. I feel they’re doing it for a reason. I feel as long as the music is classic and the music is there, a month or two won’t hurt. And it’ll only give more time to perfect my craft.” Game’s new single is called “Ain’t No Doubt About It” and features Justin Timberlake. The two recently shot a video for the song. Crystal Bowersox Was Proud To Break The ‘American Idol’ Mold

‘Unique people are really what colors the world,’ the ‘American Idol’ runner-up tells MTV News. By James Montgomery Crystal Bowersox Photo: MTV News During her run on “American Idol” — and perhaps even more so during her time off the show — Crystal Bowersox made it a point to march to the beat of a different drummer (or didgeridoo player ). From her choices of songs to her epically dreadlocked mane, she worked very hard to be her own person and never really fit within the “Idol” mold. And yes, she’s aware that her uniqueness might have cost her the season-nine crown and that a certain part of the American public might consider her to be a bit, well, odd, but she has no regrets, and she doesn’t plan to change anytime soon, no matter what people might think of her. In fact, she’ll openly discuss all the things that made her stand out from the “Idol” herd, because they’re also the things that make her an individual. “Oh yeah, like the fact that I have missing teeth and that I don’t comb my hair. I mean … I think that unique people are really what colors the world,” she told MTV News. “It’s a beautiful thing to be your own individual, and in high school, you get pushed into being the same as everyone, and then, once you’re an adult, you look for the differences in people. That’s what’s interesting about life and humanity.” Though she said she never felt out of place on “Idol,” Bowersox also realized that things are different now that she’s the newly crowned runner-up. Seems folks are tripping over themselves to try to label her and her music, to package it and market it a certain way. And that — more than anything else — is what gets her ire up. “It bothers me a little bit, because why pigeonhole anything? I’ve got songs that are country, I’ve got blues and rock … R&B … there’s really nothing that I’m not open to, and I don’t really want to be in one genre,” she said. “It’s really the market that does that. People don’t know how to sell your album unless you are in a specific category on the shelf. So, hopefully, that won’t happen too much [with me].” But you get the feeling that, no matter what happens with her post-“Idol” career, Bowersox won’t go down without a fight. She may look like a fish out of water, but in reality, she’s been prepping for this moment her entire life. “My whole life has been this crazy. Not, like, this kind of crazy, but just crazy in general. I roll with the punches, I always have,” she smiled. “I’ve never felt stronger in my life. There’s nothing I can’t handle right now — media coverage, my personal life, all this stuff — I’ve always been an open book through my music. There’s not much that I’m afraid to say. … There’s a lot I have on my mind, a lot of things I want to say, and I’m not afraid to say ’em.” Did Crystal’s individuality help or hurt her on “Idol”? Or both? Discuss in the comments. Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions. Kanye West Takes On Haters In ‘Power’

‘They say I was the abomination of Obama’s nation,’ West raps on new single. By Shaheem Reid Kanye West Photo: Kevin Mazur/ WireImage While many were sleeping Thursday night, Kanye West was declaring that his hiatus is over as his new single, “Power,” hit the Internet. We haven’t seen much of ‘Ye since he explained why he interrupted Taylor Swift at the 2009 Video Music Awards last September on Jay Leno’s now-defunct prime-time show . West told Leno he was going to take some time off. Indeed he did, but for the past several months, we have been hearing about Kanye working in Hawaii with acclaimed producers such as Pete Rock, Q-Tip and DJ Premier. He was also producing tracks for the likes of Rick Ross and the Clipse. And he recently popped up in New York to preview new songs. While just about everyone who’s worked with him has declined to speak on specifics, people like Preemo and Pharrell Williams have publicly described the supreme boom bap and hard-core hip-hop edge of West’s upcoming album, Good Ass Job. “Power” has the global appeal we’ve come to expect from Kanye. The beat has furious drums and guitars, a bass line that body slams your ears and epic wordplay that lyrically releases his frustration. “I’m living in the 21st Century, doing something mean to it,” he starts off rapping. “Do it better than anybody you ever seen do it/ Screams from the haters, got a nice ring to it/ I guess every superhero need his theme music.” “No one man should have all that power,” he continues on the chorus. “The clock’s ticking/ I just count the hours/ Stop trippin’, I’m trippin’ off the power/ Till then f— that!/ The world’s ours.” Then comes the vocal sample of British rock band King Crimson’s “21st Century Schizoid Man.” Kanye then directs his attention towards “Saturday Night Live,” which has had no problems making fun of the rapper over the years, especially in the wake of the Taylor Swift incident. “F— ‘SNL’ and the whole cast. Tell ’em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass,” West declares. “More specifically they can kiss my a–hole/ I’m a a–hole?/ You n—as got jokes/You short-minded n—as’ thoughts is Napoleon/ My furs is Mongolian/ My ice brought the goalies in.” As “Power” progresses, the Louis Vuitton Don talks about his hiatus. “I just needed time alone with my own thoughts,” he says. “Got treasures in my mind/ But couldn’t open up my vaults…/ Reality is catching up with me/ Taking my inner child/ I’m fighting for custody.” As “Power” nears a close, Kanye once again talks about being embroiled in controversy but says his fans still love his music. “They say I was the abomination of Obama’s nation/ Well, that’s a pretty bad way to start the conversation,” he opines. “At the end of day, goddammit I know I’m killin’ this sh–/ I know damn well y’all feelin’ this sh–.” Kanye’s label, Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam, has not yet announced a release date for Good Ass Job. Outdoor Bacteria Can Make You Smarter, and Happier
