Throughout most of American history, Inauguration Day was a light occasion filled with pomp and circumstance, a bit of formal frivolity before the president gets down to the serious business of running the country. The inauguration of Donald Trump , however, has proven to be an ongoing source of controversy, as the president continues to use his tiny fingers to tweet about his bigly crowd, because with all of his political experience, this presidenting stuff should be a piece of cake, right? At first, the man who is somehow seriously the leader of the free world was the one keeping the inauguration in the headlines, as he had his frightened-looking mouthpiece yell at the press that they were wrong and like totally everyone cool came to the ceremony. Now, it’s a tantrum thrown by a different soulless blonde that’s captured the media’s attention. If you’ve been the unfolding darkest timeline that is the news these days, you’re no doubt familiar with Trump adviser, “alternative facts” aficionado, and sentient scarecrow Kellyanne Conway. Now, it seems Conway can officially add “scrappy barroom brawler” to her resume. According to Fox News correspondent Charles Gasparino, Kellyanne took some clown to pound town at the post-inaugural Libery Ball Friday night. Gasparino thought the whole thing was super badass and he shared every detail in a breathless Facebook post: “A bunch of anarchist thugs began to descend on us screaming ‘hey Chachi are u fascist?’ One made an aggressive move toward us i shoved him away and he said ‘touch me again u little prick and I’ll smack u’ my response: “‘GFY asshole’ that’s when my producer Brian Schwartz intervened and crisis was averted. “Part two was even more insane: inside the ball we see a fight between two guys in tuxes and then suddenly out of nowhere came trump adviser Kellyanne Conway who began throwing some mean punches at one of the guys. “Whole thing lasted a few mins no one was hurt except maybe the dude she smacked. Now I know why trump hired her. Btw I exaggerate none of this.” There was a time when we would’ve dismissed this as a lot of alt-nonsense to us, but there was also a time when we didn’t believe Donald Trump had a shot in hell at being elected president. These days, anything goes. Who’s to say Conway didn’t knock out some Chachi-hating radicals without spilling her cosmo? She may be overshadowed by Corinne Olympios, but Raven Gates is a serious Bachelor contender (as The Bachelor spoilers predicted). A big reason for that? From the moment she stepped out of the limo at the iconic mansion, she hasn’t been afraid to speak her mind. Even when it comes to calling out Nick Viall over Corinne. The 25-year-old boutique owner from Hoxie, Arkansas, has definitely caught Nick’s eye, and her bluntness is something Viall admires. Even if she criticizes him for enabling Corinne Olympios ‘ sexual antics and dramatics, Nick can’t help but admire her honest sincerity. Asked by Glamour why she tried out for the show, Raven said “my parents have been married for 30 years, so I have really high expectations.” Someone doesn’t watch The Bachelor online apparently. While you might think looking for love on TV is looking for love in all the wrong places – or with the right people – Gates begs to differ. “Somebody that’s going on national television is really ready for love and has their stuff together when they are looking for a wife,” she says. “When I first applied, I came out of a terrible breakup and didn’t think I’d date again, but … I still want to be a wife and a mother. “So I’m crazy to go on an adventure on national television, but I’m really that desperate for love! Things haven’t been looking too great for Amber Portwood lately. But just because things are going badly doesn’t mean you can’t look good! Amber put all her issues (which we’ll discuss momentarily!) aside this weekend so that she could give herself a whole new look. That’s the “before” photo she shared on Instagam. Sure, it’s pretty filtered, but take it in. “Hair is going PINK today!!!!” she revealed in the caption. “You can’t talk me out of it lol.” Pink hair, huh? Is that too big a change for the famously blonde Teen Mom star? Can she pull it off? Amber didn’t wait to long to share the “after” photo, the one with all the pink hair, so go ahead and judge for yourself: It looks cute, right? And despite that remarkably glum look on this face, she wrote in the caption that she loves the change. And hey, good for her. She deserves to feel good about herself, and she should — she looks great. But there’s a good chance Amber decided to go for such a different look to get her mind off her recent legal troubles. Amber and her sketchy boyfriend, Matt Baier, are being sued by their former rental company for unpaid rent and repairs. Why didn’t they pay rent, if Amber’s got all that Teen Mom money and Matt’s preparing to release his memoir ? It’s a good question, but one we don’t have the answer for. According to the court documents filed by the rental company, Amber and Matt owe $1,600 for failing to pay their last month of rent, as well as thousands of dollars worth of damages, much of it inflicted by the couple’s many pets. To repair the carnage left in Amber and Matt’s wake, the company says they’ll need to repair damaged dry wall, replace the vertical blinds, and order new mini blinds and a new door knob. They’ll also have to get a new smoke detector and install it, and there’s a whole lot to be done to the outside of the house, too. For what it’s worth, Amber’s former neighbor has disputed the rental company’s claims, saying that Amber’s old house looks fine and that it’s already being rented to someone new. She’s due in court in late February to deal with all this … but at least we know she’ll look fabulous while doing so.

Anyone for some Miss Mystic Falls? On The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 9 , the CW hit begun to embrace the end and threw back to one of the most iconic moments of the entire series. However, this iteration of one of the town’s best events was more deadlier than before. That’s sort of what happens when you have both the Ripper and the Siren in attendance. As the episode got underway, Damon and Stefan bonded over killing some dude in a bar, but Sybil just had to call Damon to ruin the fun. She wanted the brothers to make their back to Mystic Falls in order help her find the artifact. Stefan was against returning, but Damon agreed without really thinking it through. This continued to prove to Stefan that there was something iffy about Damon’s humanity. Meanwhile, Bonnie returned from her trip to Paris with Enzo and wasted no time in meeting up with Caroline. Caroline was floored by a mysterious vial around Bonnie’s neck. That vial was filled with Enzo’s blood and it made Caroline question whether Bonnie wanted to become a vampire in order to spend an eternity with Enzo. Their conversation was interrupted by a phone call from Seline, who wanted them to meet her to hear her out. At the meeting, Seline claimed that it was imperative that they did not allow Sybil to get all of the pieces of the artifact, or there would be trouble in store. Seline made it clear that her intention was to kill Sybil in order to try and do something good in her life, but Caroline struggled to believe her because of the way she acted when she was giving off serious Nanny Carrie vibes. Caroline got on the phone to Matt to let him know about Seline, so he and Dorian continued to work together to locate where the other pieces of the artifact could be. At the Miss Mystic Falls pageant, Caroline was shocked by the arrival of Stefan, Damon and Sybil and made it clear that she would not let them ruin the day. Caroline noticed that Damon was still fighting Sybil off from his subconscious and used it to her advantage. She told him to keep her out of his mind, but Sybil appeared to continue her reign of terror to get him on her side. View Slideshow: 15 Best Shows in CW History: Ranked! Stefan flipped and stabbed Damon and left him lying next to Sybil, who Damon had knocked out just before. Caroline was chatting to the girls, but Stefan appeared and murdered one of them. He then told Caroline that he fed all of them his blood, so they would start the transition. Caroline “murdered” Stefan, but he came back to life because of his deal with Cade and the pair bickered about how long Stefan would be the Ripper. Caroline was shocked to learn that he actually enjoyed it. Stefan left, leaving Caroline to school the transitioning girl on what would become of her. The girl wanted to die, but Caroline spoke about everything she had accomplished since becoming a vampire and it helped the girl change her stance on all of it. Enzo and Bonnie argued about Bonnie not becoming a vampire because of everything she witnessed her friends go through, but she said that Enzo could be cured and it was clear he was thinking it through. We ended the episode with Sybil attacking Damon, seemingly turning his humanity back on. Things are definitely getting deadlier in Mystic Falls but is there any way either of the Salvatores can be redeemed at this stage? What did you think of the drama? Sound off below! Gather 'round, friends, and come hear the latest chapter in the sordid, seemingly never-ending saga of Kailyn Lowry, Javi Marroquin, and their messy divorce. Actually, “messy” probably isn't the right word to describe what's going on here. This is messier than messy. By a lot. See, it was in May that Kailyn publicly announced that she and Javi were getting divorced . And when you're a celebrity, even if you're a reality star who achieved fame after getting pregnant at 16 years old, public announcements sort of matter. It would seem like it'd be best to wait to make an announcement like Kailyn's until she was absolutely, positively sure that the divorce was happening, maybe even until the papers were signed. But nah, judging by this new Teen Mom 2 sneak peek, Kailyn wasn't even sure whether or not her marriage was really over until late June, at the earliest. In this clip, Kailyn FaceTimes with a friend, and she reveals that Javi still hasn't made up his mind about what he wanted to do regarding their marriage. According to her, he was still going back and forth on whether or not he wanted to work things out. It's surprising to say the least, because, like we said, she'd already announced their divorce. As has been well documented over the past several weeks, all is not calm, cool or even collected within the Sister Wives universe. There’s a whole lot of in-fighting taking place between the Browns. There was that whole catfishing scandal surrounding Meri, which prompted rumors that she would split from Kody … … which was followed by talk that Kody ad Robyn may be done for good. But while the relationship between Kody and his four better halves may have seen better days, there’s one connection in this reality star’s life that is as strong as ever: The bond between Kody and daughter Mariah. Yes, even in the face of a bombshell dropped by Mariah on last week’s installment of Sister Wives. But we still weren’t sure how Mariah’s famous family members were going to react. On last night’s episode, Kody admitted that he was “in a state of shock processing” everything that Mariah said about her sexuality, which included the following admission: “It’s always been there – it’s always been something I pushed away because I was scared. I think my biggest fear has always been to be gay. “So I didn’t let myself accept it because it was wrong – I was told [by members of the church] that it was wrong and that I would be a bad person.” Said Kody at one point: “We’re not happy Mariah’s gay; we’re happy Mariah knows herself.” He then went into more detail on Twitter. “A surprise to me. Required some deep thought,” Kody wrote of his reaction to the news. “After checking to see if she was sure, I just needed her to know she was safe.” The reality star added that The Big Man Upstairs made acceptance a lot easier. “God has prepared my heart and mind for 15 years. Now @mariahlian can feel safe being openly gay with our family.” Later on in the evening, Kody credited Charles Dickens for helping to open his mind, while also saying it’s sad that some of his “gay friends lose their religion.” He supposedly told one to start his own “church fellowship.” Say what you want about Kody Brown (we certainly have) and his unusual family dynamic. But he appears to have struggled with his daughter’s sexuality, eventually realizing that she’s happy with who she is and that’s all that matters. So some credit must be given to Brown for arriving at that conclusion. You know how Christmas is supposed to be all about peace on earth and goodwill towards men and baked goods and all? Somehow, this lady right here didn't get the memo. Emma Tapping, a 36-year-old mother of three, apparently gets that giving back is supposed to be a big part of the holiday season, but damn, did this girl go too hard. See, Emma has three kids: a 14-year-old daughter, a 10-year-old daughter, and a little toddler-aged son. And this is what's “under” her Christmas tree this year: When she shared that absurd photo on Facebook, she wrote “Another year of hard graft, saving and planning. Another year of my family making me proud everyday.” “They deserve a great Christmas. The haters will hate but nothing and no one will change how I do Christmas.” Yes, this is just how Emma does Christmas, OK? Haters will hate, but nothing will stop her from spending $2,000 on 300 presents for three kids. Sure, it's materialistic as hell, and yeah, there are so many presents here that it honestly looks kind of tiring. Seriously, each of those poor kids has to rip into 100 presents on Christmas morning and pretend to be excited about each and every one of them. It's kind of cruel when you think about it.
