Following a string of insults and negativity on various platforms, Lovato surprised Twitter followers on Monday afternoon when she announced her departure from nearly all of social media. “Damn I gotta quit sayin s–t. Bye Twitter,” she wrote. “And Insta.” It’s unclear what, exactly, prompted this decision on Demi’s behalf. But she added that she will remain on Snapchat and made it clear that online haters have simply made Twitter and Instagram too unpleasant for her these days. “I like Snapchat cause I don’t have to see what some of y’all say,” she Tweeted. ” “Follow me if you want: theddlovato. She wants to help people overcome their personal insecurities and substance abuse issues. And idiotic trolls likely just want to make fun of her body.
