Robert Durst Talks Love of NFL, Opera in First Letter From Jail

It’s been almost a month since Robert Durst was arrested for the murder of Susan Berman, and if he’s convicted, the millionaire real estate heir could face the death penalty. Durst has been linked to a number of other disappearances , and though he’s beaten murder raps before, the odds seem stacked against him this time, and public opinion is certainly not on his side. So naturally, what’s weighing on Durst’s mind most heavily these days is – you guessed it – pro football and opera. Durst (or someone claiming to be Durst) recently sent a bizarre letter to Los Angeles Times reporter Molly Hennesey Fiske, in which he rambled about everything from LA traffic to a past medical ailment. “My interests are pro football and opera,” Durst writes in childlike, chicken-scratch script. “Your politics and business leaders have chosen to fight rather than agree to disagree and there was no football. “Liked LA opera except for Wagner’s Ring cycle with the absurd costumes and sloped stage, a true example of Hollywood gone berserk.” Durst went on to cover his bases legally by clarifying that the letter says nothing about “charges, crimes or trials.” He then extends an offer for the reporter to visit him when he “get[s] to LA.” The letter is signed simply, “Bob.” Seems harmless, but considering some of the stories about Durst that have emerged in recent weeks, Hennesey-Fiske is probably than a little creeped out by the experience of receiving the letter. Shortly after his arrest, the judge who presided over Durst’s previous murder trial claimed that the 71-year-old left a cat’s head on her doorstep as an act of revenge. Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 19 Recap: Where is Derek?

A patient got his penis cut off on Grey’s Anatomy Season 11 Episode 19 . There. Do we have your attention? Just as Derek was on his way back to D.C. to resign his post, Meredith learned that Owen and Amelia were a thing. But out focus quickly turned elsewhere when the D.C. hospital called Meredith and said Derek never showed up. Where the heck is he?!? Elsewhere, as teased above, a husband who committed adultery was rushed to the ER (along with his mistress) because his wife chopped off his most private of parts. After the penis was put back in place, Webber screamed at April for recruiting Catherine, but April stood strong. After Stephanie handled a situation well later on (the mistress went ahead and cut off the same man’s penis), Catherine offered her a fellowship. Brandi Glanville Slams Lisa Vanderpump and Scheana Marie, Compares Herself to Princess Diana!

Last night (presumably while drinking), Brandi Glanville posted a lengthy tirade on her Bravo blog in which she trashed…well, pretty much everyone in her life. First, she revealed the amount that  Eddie Cibrian pays in child support (Hint: It ain’t much), then she attacked pretty much everyone on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with the exception of Yolanda Foster, who seems to be her new lady crush. But while she may have gone off on pretty much everyone who made the mistake of crossing her path in the last year, Brandi reserved much of her venom for her old friend Lisa Vanderpump and her longtime rival Scheana Marie. If you watched The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 5 Episode 3 , then you know Brandi vented her frustration at Lisa for continuing to associate with Scheana, even though Scheana slept with Eddie while he was still married to Brandi. Yes, we’re in real soap opera territory here, but the fact remains Lisa employs Scheana not only at the restaurant she owns but on Vanderpump Rules – the spinoff series that Lisa produces. So perhaps it’s a bit unfair for Brandi to eviscerate Lisa for having anything to do with “that mistress” Scheana: “You’ve all seen Lisa V. throwing that beautiful catered engagement party for that mistress,” Brandi writes. “Treating the mistress like family. It happened. A lot.” “So here’s my example or take or whatever: Do you think any of Princess Diana’s really ‘good’ friends ever threw catered engagement parties at their big houses for Camilla Parker Bowles friends?” Oh, snap! She just compared Scheana to Camilla! That’s…actually that’s probably the most classy thing Scheana’s ever been compared to. Come on, Brandi! Naturally, lots of celebrities go broke as their star begins to fade and they struggle desperately to continue living the lavish lives to which they’ve become accustomed, but rappers seem particularly vulnerable to the “spend fast, go bankrupt young” mentality. Maybe it’s the genre’s emphasis on jewels, clothes, and cars. Or perhaps it has something to do with the major labels’ notorious (no pun intended) habit of screwing up-and-comers on what should be multi-million dollar deals. Whatever the case, the list above is likely to surprise you. Did you Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga owes over $100,000 in back taxes? Or that the dollar sign in Ma$e’s name is completely ironic at this point? There’s a lot to be learned from the list above. For one thing, don’t start buying gold chains until your mortgage is taken care of. For another thing, Lil Kim shouldn’t have named her kid Royal Reign while she’s seven figures in debt. That’s putting a lot of pressure on a baby, Kim.

Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 4 & 5 Recap: Hank Admits Ava London Affair … Just Not to Kendra

Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 4 and Episode 5, airing in tandem last night on We TV, showed us more of the aftermath unfolding after the cheating scandal. With Hank Baskett having done the unthinkable, the hour showed Kendra Wilkinson seek out guidance and companionship from sources expected and unexpected. Watch Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 5 Online On Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 4 , she must have been really desperate for a storyline and/or shoulder to cry upon, because our girl reached out to her mom. Kendra Wilkinson and Patti Wilkinson? Not exactly peas in a pod. The night kicks off with Kendra grilling Hank about the tabloid rumors about his fling with Ava London , a transsexual model. He denies the affair took place! Not just dodging the issue, either. We’re talking about full-throated denials and begging his scorned wife to “please believe me. I’m at your mercy.” Kendra must sort of believe the rumors, though, because she kicks him out of their bedroom, if not their house, and says he’s no longer a husband to her. Luckily, he leaves town (for work) at which point Kendra invites her mom over to patch things up and bond, albeit sort of sadly, over Hank’s alleged affair. Patti, never a Hank fan, advises her little girl to boot him out. After the events of Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 5 , she was likely tempted. Hank, back from his trip, was crying on the bathroom floor – but still denying it. Following that, she did some digging of her own, then pursued the tried-and-true girls night out strategy, hoping for some laughs and a bit of distraction. That didn’t turn out quite as she planned, however. Watch Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 4 Online Jessica Hall has long been Kendra’s best friend. Unfortunately, in this case the best friend failed at giving her what she needed, which was a respite from the turmoil and not a full-fledged interrogation. The elephant in the room – those tabloid rumors surrounding Hank and Ava London – quickly became the topic of discussion and the mood turned sour. Kendra’s girlfriends seemed to agree that Hank needed to man up or get the f–k out, but it looked as though Jessica Hall was holding something back. She was. “Hank basically told Kyle what happened,” Jessica said, likely referring to a boyfriend, and since Hank has Jessica’s number, he and Kyle might be tight. Having dropped that BOMB on Kendra, she adds that “there’s two sides to every story” and she doesn’t think people should be so hard on Hank now. WTH!?! Kendra presses her for info on what Hank said, but Jessica apologizes, says she doesn’t know anything, and says Kyle promised to take it to his grave. Wow. Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 2 Recap: Where in the World is Hank Baskett?!

Friday on Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 2, the fallout from Hank’s astonishing transsexual cheating scandal continued to ripple through the Wilkinson-Baskett abode. Watch Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 2 Online If nothing else, last week’s season premiere and subsequent media appearances put to rest (mostly) the rumors that this scandal was somehow fabricated. In Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 2 , we saw more evidence that Kendra truly didn’t know how to react to these events, or her husband, in the ensuing weeks. There’s also the question of where the heck Hank even was this week. We see Kendra show up at doctor’s office for her baby’s appointment, on the verge of an utter breakdown as she gets heckled by someone on the way. Asked how she’s doing by the doctor, she can barely get words out. Obviously, we know she and Hank have not gotten divorced, or split up for good. For a period of time after this scandal broke, though, he was apparently MIA. When you watch Kendra on Top online this week, his absence was telling both for the turmoil he put her through but also the lack of drama on screen. Perhaps this was a good thing for him to take off, but as Wilkinson tells BFF Jessica Hall, the prospect of being a single mom terrifies her the most of all. Not that he’s AWOL, which is troubling in itself to be sure, but the broader issue of never having been alone; Kendra’s been with a man her whole adult life. Perhaps as a result of this fear, she reaches out to her mother. Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett: In Happier Times 1. Kendra and 2 Hanks There was a time when Kendra and Hank looked to be a very happy couple. This photo was snapped in 2012. Big mistake, since she’s never liked Hank and hasn’t had a stable relationship with Kendra for that matter. But that is soon trumped by what happens next: Kendra finds Jessica Hall on the phone … with Hank Baskett! After she whispers directives to Jessica to guide the conversation, she tells Wilkinson after it’s over that she “owes it” to Baskett to at least hear him out. Does she, though? And is Hall the one who calls the shots? If she fielded the phone call, she must know Hank pretty well, and she’s a terrific long-term friend who is always there for her, including on the Season 3 premiere . Her opinion certainly does carry weight, but it’s Kendra’s call. Meanwhile, the paparazzi begin to circulate around her. We spent a lot of time hearing about how this stresses her out, and we have no doubt that it does, but it’s unclear how many guys really hound Kendra. Of course, given what Hank did with Ava London ? It likely takes one or two to send his scorned wife into an emotional tailspin once more. THAT is real. It looks like next week, on Kendra on Top Season 3 Episode 3, we’ll see the broken Baskett catch some more flak for his actions when he finally returns. Could Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett be manufacturing this entire transsexual cheating scandal that has enveloped them for the sake of their reality show? We’ve posited such theories before – with Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, even Robin Thicke and Paula Patton – but it seemed even less likely in Kendra’s case. That is, until photos surfaced of Kendra and Hank in Costa Rica, on vacation with no cameras in sight and looking anything but standoffish with each other. Very suspicious indeed. The two were eating at a cozy beachside restaurant with their family and no Kendra on Top crew, which just doesn’t add up with other recent reports. Or the Kendra on Top trailer , in which she admits she flushed her wedding ring down the toilet after Hank stepped out with a transsexual model. The couple has clearly been running with the scandal, staging fake family barbecues and the like, and clearly turning it into a story for the WeTV program. We wouldn’t expect anything less there, but is the entire thing a sham? As in no cheating, fighting, wedding ring flushing, lie detector tests … anything? Every other report until now implied she was putting on a front for the show, but privately giving him the cold shoulder and just buying time until she gets out. Now we’re not so sure. If this were all fabricated, though, it would mean that Hank’s alleged paramour Ava London is also being paid – and not just hush money by Baskett. The smoking gun in this case, if you will, was that the model came forward personally with her tale of mutual masturbation with the straying Hank. Dean McDermott’s mistress, meanwhile, does not exist on the Internet. Ava London is clearly real. But is she simply acting along with an elaborate ratings ruse? We don’t know at this point. Ramona Singer is feeling humiliated by husband Mario Singer stepping out with Kasey Dexter right after she announced their divorce on Twitter, sources say. Not only that, the reality star just rented a Hamptons cottage for the entire month of August, only to watch him canoodling with his mistress all over the place.
