On #LHHNY Reunion part 1 , Cardi B. and Hennessy showed all the way out. Also, the Creep Squad founder is debated and contested until Cisco challenges to scrap with “no socks havin’” Rich Dollaz. Kimbella is called a “whore” and she comes to blows with Mendeecees’ baby mommas. At one point, Yandy’s goons rush the stage and Yandy even takes off on Samantha, too! That’s only the tip of the iceberg because like we said earlier, someone from the crowd and Hennessy and Cardi B bumrushed the stage. The scrapping footage is kinda grainy and hard to make out, but it was an all out brawl. Turn the pages to enjoy…
From Tina Fey and Alicia Keys to Emma Watson and Meryl Streep, these stars have spoken out against sexism, fought for women's rights, and much more. Here's a list of 22 celebrities who proved without a doubt that the future is female! 1. Tina Fey Tina Fey’s career in and of itself is inspiring, and she’s known for shutting down sexism in more than just her writing. At the Center for Reproductive Rights Inaugural Gala in New York City in 2012, she was quoted saying, ““And if I have to listen to one more grey-faced man with a $2 haircut explain to me what rape is,” Fey said, “I’m going to lose my mind!” 2. Amy Poehler In all honesty, everything about Amy Poehler proves the future is email, but her foundation, “Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls,” is a pretty perfect example. 3. Jennifer Lawrence Jennifer Lawrence stood up for what was right when it came ot equal pay. She published an essay in Lena Dunham’s newsletter about the issue. Later, she spoke up about the word “feminism” stating, “I don’t know why that word is so scary to people… It shouldn’t be, because it just means equality.” 4. Kerry Washington Kerry Washington has spoken about women’s rights on several occasions, and she’s not been shy about her political views. Here’s a quote from her op-ed piece in The Daily Beast: “We, the people, especially us women, have to make sure our leaders know how we feel, what we think and what we care about. Together, we need to stand up for the kind of America we want — one where women and girls are equal, strong and proud, and where we all have a president who has our back.” 5. Scarlett Johansson Scarlett Johansson is sick of inappropriate questions. “Now, were you able to wear… undergarments?” a reporter asked her about a film. Her response? “What’s going on? You’re like the fifth person to ask me that question. Since when did people start asking each other in this industry about their underwear?” 6. Taylor Swift Taylor Swift has had some of the best possible responses to sexism, including the perfect comeback to someone pointing out that most of her songs are about ex-boyfriends. “I think, frankly, that’s a very sexist angle to take. No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says that about Bruno Mars. They’re all writing songs about their exes, their girlfriends, their love life, and no one raises a red flag there.” View Slideshow
Chicago Girl Killed In Gang Shootout Saves 6 Lives Through Organ Donation At this point there really isn’t a whole lot you can say about the gun violence in Chicago except that it needs to stop. There have been debates, panels, town halls, speeches and still, African-American blood continues to run the streets of one of America’s biggest cities. It isn’t often that we even get a glimpse of a silver lining when it comes to this subject, and we’re not even sure if this particular story can be classified as such. But we were taken aback by a Chicago-Tribune report about the violent death of 11-year-old Takiya Holmes. Takiya was sitting in a family van with her 3-year-old brother when Antwan Jones opened fire at rival gang members across the street. In typical fashion, Antwan didn’t hit a single one of his targets, yet happened to hit Takiya directly in the temple. Shortly after she was unplugged from life support on Tuesday, Takiya’s organs were donated to 6 people, one “distant” family member and 5 other strangers. Seven of Takiya’s organs were donated following her death on Tuesday — to a distant relative and to strangers she had never met. Someone received her heart, her pancreas, her lungs and her kidneys. Two recipients shared her liver. While the family’s generosity will certainly not completely ease the pain of losing their daughter in the first place, they are aware of the joy they have brought to others. “It brings us peace to know that she’s living in someone else,” said Holmes, adding that Takiya’s mother and father eagerly agreed to the transplants. “The fact that she extended another person’s life and helped give them quality of life, we can live with that.” It took a lot of courage by Takiya’s family to share their child with someone else. Minorities, and African-Americans in particular, are not quick to donate organs. Though 20 percent of all transplant recipients are African-American — the overwhelming majority of them kidney recipients — blacks make up only 16 percent of all donors, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. R.I.P. Takiya Holmes. We offer our prayers and condolences not only to your family and friends, but also to the city of Chicago. Image via Chicago PD/Holmes Family
A Flashback To OBJ Getting Caught Up At #AllStarTO Sassy superstar ball-catcher Odell Beckham, Jr. always seems to be caught up in suspect scenarios that were on fill display during last year’s NBA All-Star weekend 2016 where he appeared to plot on Drizzy’s Canadian cakes during the celebrity game. Bad angle? Maybe, but the internet internetted anyway. Hit the flip for a flashback to OBJ’s hilariously suspect shenanigans.
Sad news out of the sports world today, as former NFL cornerback Leonard Myers has passed away at the age of 38. Reports of Myers’ death were confirmed by TMZ just moments ago. Myers played his rookie season with the New England Patriots in 2001, the year that a young Tom Brady led the team to a Super Bowl victory over the St. Louis Rams. Myers went on to play for the New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, and Detroit Lions, but he would never again experience the sort of on-field success he enjoyed in that first year in New England. Myers experienced a string of bad luck after leaving football in 2005, following a brief sojourn in the CFL. That same year, he made headlines for selling his Super Bowl ring on eBay for $32,600. Myers had reportedly been battling cancer for several years at the time of his death. Before being drafter by the Patriots, Myers made a name for himself at the Univesrity of Miami as the team’s standout defensive back. A three-year starter for the Canes, Myers aided in the program’s historic rebound. The team went 5-6 his freshman year and 11-1 his senior year. Sadly, Myers would not experience the same level of success in the pros. In interviews, he often expressed his frustration with the Patriots coaching staff, who decided at the last minute to deactivate him prior to Super Bowl XXXVI. Myers says he was told he would start in the game, and it wasn’t until pregame warm-ups that Bill Belichick and company decided to remove him from the roster in favor of activating another offensive lineman. Those who knew Myers best say his disappointment at not realizing his boyhood dream of being able to take the field at the Super Bowl lingered for the rest of his days. Most recently, Myers worked as he wide receivers coach at New Mexico Highlands University in 2015. Today, both Patriots and Hurricanes football fans are mourning Myers on social media. Though he may not have distinguished himself in the highly competitive world of the NFL, fans and teammates say his spirit and cn-do attitude made him a player they’ll never forget. Maitland Ward put out some cheap Valentine’s Day lingerie pictures because she is a cheap woman who uses cheap tactics to stay relevant enough to feel good about herself…you know having fun with her celebrity that was barely a celebrity from decades ago…and not taking herself too seriously…in what I would argue is a perfectly executed promotional campaign….it’s got lingerie, it’s got the theme on point…oh Valentines, we need content for that, it’s got the has been who was on TV once….and it’s got her monster tits that people fucking love….all good things…plus it has zero production value, or quality, so it’s not polished like an instagram model…it’s raw, it’s grimey, it’s badly shot, it’s bootleg…and for that reason alone…I love it… This is instagram model whoring behavior…with pre-instagram whoring knowledge or execution…and it is wonderful… The post Maitland Ward in Lingerie of the Day appeared first on DrunkenStepfather .
