Source: JIJI PRESS / Getty Man Kills Starts Fire At Animation Studio, Killing And Injuring Dozens This is so sad, and the deadliest fire in two decades for Japan. According to AP News , A man screaming “You die!” burst into an animation studio in Kyoto, Tokyo, doused it with a flammable liquid and set it on fire Thursday, killing 33 people. The attack has shocked the country and brought an outpouring of grief from anime fans. Most of the victims were employees of Kyoto Animation, which does work on movies and TV. The fire sent people scrambling up the stairs toward the roof of the three-story building in a desperate attempt to escape. Unfortunately, they died. Thirty-six people in counting have been injured in the blaze, some critically and thirty-three died on site. Reportedly, the suspect is described as a 41-year-old man who did not work for the studio. He was injured and taken to a hospital. Police gave no details on the motive, but a witness told Japanese TV that the attacker angrily complained that something of his had been stolen, possibly by the company. This is where Shekinah mentions to Kendra, Sierra, and Bambi that Karlie Redd, read her lie detector test results and it turned out that Pooh lied. Kendra points out that Karlie has a lot of tricks up her sleeves so the papers could have been falsified. However, the general consensus is that Karlie’s results are right and that Pooh is the liar. Next, they get on the topic of Kendra and Koc. Kendra mentions that she moved out of Joc’s house because they’re broken up, but in the same breath, she admits that she misses him. That is enough to put the battery in Shekinah’s back. She wants to be the one to get them back together. Let the scheming begin. Let’s fast forward to Mimi’s girlfriend, Ty and Stevie J. Basically, Ty goes behind Mimi’s back and meets up with Stevie to try to put their issues aside. Remember, Stevie keeps posting shady comments on Ty’s social media, which she and Mimi are not thrilled about. Ty wants to get on the same page with Stevie for Eva’s sake. We all know that trying to have this convo with Stevie is dumb because it just ends up with him being childish. In an interesting twist of things, they end up playing ball. If Stevie wins, Ty wears a mini skirt (it figures), if she wins, he’ll apologize. Ty spanks him, of course. But we know Stevie ain’t about to deliver a sincere apology. Scrapp DeLeon and his business partner are opening up a restaurant and they invite Che Mack, Joc, Che, Scrappy, and Kirk to taste test. But the real point of this scene is for scrappy to reveal to Joc that he heard Kendra saying that she missed Jasiel. We see where this is going so let’s fast forward some more. Now we’re at an “early opening party” for Frost Bistro, Kirk and Rasheeda’s new restaurant. It is here that Shekinah runs into Joc. She feels guilty about Joc and Kendra breaking up because she played a part in the gossip that led to their demise. She apologizes to Joc again but then they devise a plan to get Joc and Kendra together again. Now we’re back with Mimi and Ty, kicking it at home. This is supposed to be their last night together before Ty goes to Vegas for work. Ty explains her previous meeting with Stevie and that he’s coming to their house in a few. Stevie arrives with his wife, Faith Evans, and all four of them sit down and attempt to chat. Stevie offers another non-apology for yet another shady post since the basketball game. Faith even agrees that Stevie tried it, but she married him. This conversation ends with Mimi and Stevie verbally sparring with each other, again. Faith just ends dragging Stevie out of there. Finally, the episode winds down back on Joc’s situation. He shows up to a party where she is, professes his love for her and then proposes. This is enough for Kendra do let go of her anger. She said yes. She claims to now understand that Jacil is for her and he’s ready to be her husband. Then we end the episode with Joc talking about how he’s happy he got Kendra back and how it’s time to trim the fat at the beauty shop so he doesn’t deal with this type of drama again, and then goes the montage with everyone talking about their goals, dreams, etc, summarizing the season. We’ll see them all for the reunion, which will probably be dramaful (yes, dramaful), just the way we like it. Of course, racists with nothing better to do were up in arms over this decision, adopting the hashtag #NotMyAriel and complaining that Disney cast a black performer in the role. And the outside package — cause let’s face it, I’m really, really old — and so when I’m singing “Part of Your World,” if you were to judge me on the way that I look on the outside, it might change the way that you interpret the song. Source: Emma McIntyre / Getty Tonight’s episode of Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta begins with Scrappy, Kirk, and Joc kicking it somewhere in Atlanta. Then we find Karlie Redd, Erica Dixon, Rasheeda and Rasheeda’s mom kicking it in another part of the A. Both Scrappy and Erica are giving their respective sides of their drama. Basically, neither they nor did certain relatives play well at Emani’s birthday party. It was so bad that Emani actually cried about it. Later on, Erica gives birth to her twin girls but they end up in the NICU. That’s all that Erica cares to focus on for now. Yung Joc feels that Sina, Sharonda Karlie, and Shekinah’s gossiping ruined his relationship with Kendra. He goes to him and Sharonda’s shop to demand answers from Shekinah, Karlie, Sharonda, and Sina about what they said. Shekinah keeps it real and she did spill some tea to people (not Kendra) but that she was only repeating what she heard from Karlie. Joc appreciated her honesty but now Karlie and Sharonda have some explaining to do. Karlie said she got it from Sharonda. Sharonda said it’s true because he does flirt with the stylists. Sina said Joc does flirt a lot, so obviously they’re not wrong to gossip, even though these rumors snowballed into something completely insane. Now, we know that a lot of the women in Jocs’ life have said that he flirts. But Kendra thinks that he has been slanging D. Karlie then demands to know if it’s true that he has been sleeping with other stylists or not. Wait, so now she wants to verify after the fact? Anyway, Joc says it’s not true and he seems genuine. He’s different this time. He gets so upset that he starts going off on them because he feels like they messed up his relationship. Sina, Karlie, and Sharonda push back because they don’t feel like they’re wrong, which they are. That’s when Joc wigs out, no pun intended. He goes and angrily tosses an inanimate object just so they know it’s real. We’ve never seen him this mad but he really loves Kendra and lost her to sabotage. Even though, if Kendra was so quick to break up with him behind rumors, and without verification, then maybe she wasn’t really the one after all. He tells Sina and Sharonda to get out and threatens to shut the shop down. Later on, Joc finds Kendra at her job and tries to state his case but she still isn’t trying to hear him. Her thing now is that he shouldn’t have been messy enough to have those rumors flying about him anyway. Joc definitely loves Kendra, but she’s done, at least for now. What she wants most before even considering a relationship with him again is space. Karlie Redd’s daughter, Jasmine, makes an appearance, just in time for Rasheeda’s upcoming mother/daughter event. But before the event, they have some bonding time where Jasmine tells Karlie that she’s taking a break from school because people have been talking trash about her mom based on the things Pooh has been saying. Karlie is pissed that Pooh’s rumors are affecting her daughter and plans to “fix her.” Speaking of Pooh, she has three grown daughters. One of those daughters, Najee, comes to visit her. Pooh tells her about the Karlie situation from her perspective. Obviously, Pooh thinks Karlie is jealous of her and that she’s a crazy person poisoning the other women against her for no real reason. Pooh mentions the upcoming mother/daughter event, but that she’s not sure if she’s going to go since people don’t like her. Najee has some sense and tells Pooh that she should go because she’s older than those women and more seasoned and really shouldn’t be involved in this. Therefore, she can coexist peacefully without drama. You read that correctly, Pooh’s daughter seems to be more mature than she is. Now we’re at Rasheeda’s Classy mommy daughter event. It starts off well at first. Karlie and Pooh manage to avoid each other at first. But then it’s Karlie and Jasmine’s turn to say sweet things to each other. Jasmine starts by talks about how strict her mom was but that she understands it and loves her. Then Karlie says she doesn’t show her daughter on TV much because she shelters her. Then talks about how she’s disturbed by the fact that her daughter is leaving school due to being bullied about her. And then…Karlie pulls out the lie detector results — because she just had to make Rasheeda’s event about her, naturally — and starts talking about how her lie detector test results to show that anything that people are saying about her is wrong followed by ugly crying. Pooh asks who “people” are. You know, the people who have been saying stuff about her, because she knows it’s aimed at her. That sets Jasmine off so she gets up and storms toward Pooh like she’s going to fight. Meanwhile, Karlie is holding up the paper saying that results are that Pooh lied. By this time, Najee is in on the melee trying to scrap with Jasmine and Rasheeda, but security is handling the situation. You know they are not about to let anyone fight. Stevie Wonder needs a new kidney. But his fans can breathe a sigh of release because he also already has a donor and is getting a transplant. Taylor Swift spoke out against a hurtful injustice, only to get accused by Justin Bieber of just wanting attention . Since then, a number of other stars have spoken out in her defense, clapping back at the Biebs for being a douche. Now Emma Portner is speaking about time she spent working for Justin, accusing him of degrading women and grossly underpaying her. 24-year-old choreographer Emma Portner, who is notably Ellen Page’s wife, has spoken out in her Instagram Stories. “Justin Bieber, I regret working under your name,” Emma Portner’s post begins. “I gave you universe my naive body, creativity, time, and effort,” she writes, adding: “Twice.” Emma did this “for content that you made millions off of. While I mad zilch. Nada. Barely anything.” She describes her pay as having been “less than minimum wage for the hours I invested.” “I couldn’t afford to eat,” Emma Portner recalls. She adds: “I was sweeping studio floors to be able to practice my craft.” “The way you degrade women is an abomination,” Emma accuses. She notes: “You continue to collaborate with overly problematic people.” That’s an understatement. Justin gets along alarmingly well with the likes of Chris Brown and (formerly) Floyd Mayweather. “You religiously go to a church that does not support the LGBTQ+ community,” Emma observes. She’s not attacking his faith, but rather where he chooses to practice it. Emma admits that she cannot help but wonder how he feels about working with lesbians like herself and other LGBTQ+ folks. “I can only hope for your enlightenment,” she expresses. “That you read a ton of books.” She even offers to buy him some helpful literature to “change the way your traumatized brain thinks.” Emma also included a post about how one can be glad that they had opportunities while still holding people accountable for mistreatment. That’s very fair. It’s no mystery at all why Emma is speaking out about this now. Over the weekend, Taylor Swift put Scooter Braun on blast for what she described as a history of cruelty and bullying. She had learned, to her horror, that he will soon own the majority of her discography. The Biebs spoke in defense of his manager, and suggested that Taylor was only saying these things to make people pity her. The thing is that other singers and professionals have come out of the woodwork since Taylor spoke out. Additionally, fans have been posting old videos that lend more weight to Taylor’s claims. Madison Beer — who rose to fame after catching Justin’s eye years ago — once shared that her entire music career was swept out from under her. In other footage, Ariana Grande is heard briefly admitting that aspects of her album’s tracklist were not under her control, but under Scooter’s. When Taylor speaks out, she doesn’t have to provide receipts — her fans will whip them out on her behalf. Other celebrities have spoken in praise of her, including Halsey. Taylor Swift knows that speaking out isn’t likely to stop Scooter Braun from assuming ownership of her life’s work. She can’t stop it — she wasn’t even given the opportunity to bid on it, and didn’t know about the sale until it had already happened. But just because you can’t change what has happened doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t tell the world what powerful men do behind closed doors. Taylor knows that. But maybe public pressure and scrutiny will encourage Scooter to offer Taylor a deal, even if it’s only to save his reputation.
