Apparently the Emmys were held last night, which I didn’t watch because I don’t need somebody else to tell me what the best TV is. Everybody already knows it’s the 5-1o minutes of every Modern Family episode where Sofia Vergara shows off that perfect cleavage of hers. It was a night filled with movie stars, baby bumps, unexpected makeout sessions and… oh, right, some awards as well. The 2014 Emmys aired live from Los Angeles last night, with Seth Meyers dutifully handling hosting duties and Billy Crystal paying emotional tribute to his late friend Robin Williams. Breaking Bad killed in the Drama category, Modern Family somehow won the big trophy again in the Comedy category and Sarah Silverman showed off her boobs on the red carpet. Hayden Panettiere also showed off her expecting tummy, while Lena Dunham showed off some kind of weird outfit and Matthew McConaughey showed off his chiseled good looks. Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb have split for the second time, ending their engagement of nearly to years, the Modern Family actress revealed on Saturday. In order to quell any celebrity gossip speculation, Vergara wrote on WhoSay: “Not that anyone should care, but in order to not give the press the chance to invent crazy and hurtful drama, I prefer to tell my fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart.” “We have been having too many problems with having to figure out how to spend time together and because of my work and now his, it’s been getting worse, not fun anymore.” “We are still very close but we believe this is the best thing for us right now.” The 41-year-old stunner and Nick Loeb , 38, have fought off breakup reports and minor scandals in the past, but appeared to be on strong footing. They broke up once before he popped the question, and reportedly hit a rough patch last winter, only to come through it just fine (or so it appeared). Even though I barely watch TV anymore, I am going to go on a limb and say that Modern Family is the best sitcom. I’m hoping that Sofia Vergara just hates spoilers, and that’s why she decided against revealing any of her awesome cleavage at the LA premiere of her new movie Machete Kills . And why she forgot to forget to wear a bra under that see-through dress of hers. I guess it’s smart marketing though, since seeing more of Sofia is what keeps people guys watching Modern Family every week.
