It’s a Christmas Party at the Gorgas last night on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and according to Melissa’s sister, panties are optional. Enough said. Let’s recap the festivities with THG’s +/- review! We’ll start with pre-party planning. It sounds like Joe Guidice has a DUI conviction, then was driving while suspended for the DUI for which he spent 10 days in jail. He’s being sued for fraud and is in the middle of very public and messy bankruptcy proceedings plus other legal issues that haven’t been discussed on the show.

Lady Gaga’s ‘Edge Of Glory’ Video: What Can We Expect?

MTV News rounds up clues about the video, which premieres Thursday on ‘So You Think You Can Dance.’ By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga (file) Photo: Matt Harper/ MTV News On Thursday night (June 16), on “So You Think You Can Dance,” Lady Gaga is set to premiere her “Edge of Glory” music video . What will it look like? How will she top herself? Little is known about what to expect, but with Gaga, anything is possible. As producer Fernando Garibay told MTV News, the song was inspired by the death of Gaga’s grandfather and was written while on the road. It features one of Gaga’s childhood icons, E Street Band sax player Clarence Clemons, who suffered a stroke over the weekend. “In bed with Mommy thinking about Clarence,” Gaga tweeted on Monday. “I can’t wait for you to see the beautiful video we made together. He’s a really special person.” Clemons performed “Edge of Glory” with Gaga on “American Idol,” where her stage looked like a cross between Stonehenge and the Aggro Crag on “Guts” — which could reveal some visual clues about the new video. This isn’t the first rodeo for Gaga and the video’s director, Joseph Kahn : They previously collaborated on her videos for “Eh Eh” and “LoveGame.” As for the concept, a leaked casting notice might shed some light on it. Late last month, a notice called for a “Puerto Rican or Dominican type badass” who “must be willing to kiss Lady Gaga … Think Enrique Iglesias.” The casting call was also seeking “Couture Doctors” who will wear smocks and black gloves, adding “think ‘Dr. 90210.’ ” Other roles include a “male or female on-air reporter” and a group of military men to hold M16 rifles. Gaga’s creative director, Laurieann Gibson, simply teased to Rap-Up.com, “I just know that we’ll be feeling very fishy.” Fishy certainly was the theme of her performance on “Le Grand Journal,” where she donned mermaid couture — perhaps a hint about what fans should expect in the video. This little cutie’s mom posted this picture on her Twitter page with the caption “The reason I get up and Grind !! I Love Him Soooo much!” – Who’s His Mommy??? Here’s a Hint: She’s apart of a trio and the lead person like to shimmy and shake all the time… It’s Kalenna from Dirty Money’s little boy. In a recent interview, Kalenna speaks of balancing her career and her family. Full time wife for the past 7 years and full time mother for the past 4 years… Dayyum!!! Kalenna’s Interview: “We both balance time with our son. His well-being is our first priority. We work hard now so that he can go to the best schools, learn foreign languages, and travel the world. My husband has always been supportive of my career and instrumental in everything I’ve accomplished. My husband is my must have, we’re a team. I can’t function without him, and I need him by my side at all times.” Do you want more children? “Yes, I would like 6 children if possible.” Solo Project: “My solo project will be released very soon. I have put a lot into it to make sure it is right and saying what I want it to say. I can’t expound a whole lot about it right now. Justin Bieber looking like he has heartburn Two young women , one 16, the other 18, snuck into the hotel room of Canadian pop singer, Justin Bieber, 17. The duo posed as housekeeping, in a bid to get close to the Bieber. The girls were actually allowed in Bieber’s room, as his management were unaware they were not actual hotel employees. Poor thing looks like he wants to poo in this picture When the girls began laughing and giggling, whilst cleaning up the room, Bieber’s management became suspicious, told them off and ejected them from the room. Is it just me or was this not a storyline on the sitcom “The Nanny” where characters Fran and Val, snuck into the hotel room of a Russian singer, while posing as maids. “The Nanny” In closing, you guys need to let the Bieber sleep. His mom has to have a tight lip when it comes to speaking of him or his father because if she gets fly at the mouth, his daddy will take his mommy to court for violating the gag order… DAYYUMMM That was a lot to say!!! Who’s My Daddy??? This little one is the son of Dwight Howard and Royce Reed. Royce has reportedly been kicked off the new season of Basketball Wives but it won’t be the first time she has been put to the side. Baby Daddy, Dwight Howard, shut that a** up real quick, right when she thought she was about to talk sh*zzz… All that drama was some months ago, we just hope that they are cordial in front of little Braylon!!!

By Aly Semigran Scarlett Johansson Photo: Frazer Harrison/Getty Images With the countdown to the 83rd annual Academy Awards in its final phase (there’s just five days left until the big night), there’s still news coming out about the ceremony: It was announced Tuesday morning (February 22) that actress Scarlett Johansson and funny man Russell Brand will attend the 2011 Oscars as presenters. Johansson, who appeared in last year’s hit “Iron Man 2” and is currently filming Cameron Crowe’s upcoming “We Bought a Zoo,” has recently been the focus of the media attention due to her divorce from actor Ryan Reynolds. Meanwhile, Brand, who wed singer Katy Perry last year and stars in the upcoming “Arthur” reboot with Helen Mirren, tried out his own style of edgy comedy during his hosting stint on the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 and just this month on “Saturday Night Live.” This will mark the first Oscar appearance for the “Get Him to the Greek” star, who joked on his Twitter page Tuesday, “I am presenting an Oscar. I shall also choose the recipient. At last my work as Aldous Snow will be honoured, for best actor-ing.” Brand and Johansson will join fellow A-list presenters Sandra Bullock (last year’s Best Actress recipient will hand out this year’s Best Actor trophy), Jeff Bridges (2010 Best Actor winner to hand out the Best Actress award), Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Robert Downey Jr., Hugh Jackman, Reese Witherspoon, Cate Blanchett and Marisa Tomei, as well as two of this year’s Best Actress nominees, Nicole Kidman and Annette Bening. The Academy Awards, which will be co-hosted by James Franco and Anne Hathaway, will air live from the Kodiak Theater in Hollywood at 8 p.m. ET Sunday on ABC. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga performs at Madison Square Garden on Sunday Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage On Monday night, Lady Gaga’s little monsters put on their best Gaga as they headed to Madison Square Garden for Mother Monster ‘s latest stop at the famed New York City venue, where she was making her first of two appearances. The fans were not only treated to her Monster Ball, but also got the chance to see Gaga’s new single “Born This Way” live and be part of Gaga history as she taped the concert for an upcoming HBO special . So, what stood out most? “When she gave her little speech about never letting someone tell you can’t get a Grammy [or] you can’t get an HBO special,” Gaga fan Leanna told MTV News outside the show, moments after Gaga wrapped up. “I cried because it was just so meaningful … it’s like no one can tell me no.” Fellow fan Carey noted that Gaga is always thinking of her fans when she puts on her two-hour-plus spectacle. “I always feel like it’s catered to her customers and her fans,” he excitedly shared. “Go little monsters!” Casey noted that being in the room as Gaga performed “Born This Way” was awe-inspiring. “I mean, it’s her hometown and she just reenacted the Grammy performance,” she said. “It’s f—in’ beautiful.” It seemed that particular song really resonated with the fans who came out to see Gaga. “My favorite was the last song, ‘Born This Way.’ To me, it’s a great anthem for kids today, or anyone for that matter,” Gaga fan Tony said. Evie and her pal Cecelia also loved the finale. “I loved ‘Born This Way’ at the end,” Evie said. “It was perfect. It was the perfect ending.” And two of Gaga’s New York fans summed it up this way: “She is our religion,” Danielle proclaimed. Her pal Joey agreed, adding, “She’s god!
