I’m Cindy and I’m 18 years old. I can’t even fathom that I’m actually here, sending an email about my experience, that I actually met Justin. I’ve been a fan of him for the past 3 years and every day of those 3 years I did everything to try and meet Justin. I’ve emailed Ellen countless times, submitted videos, tweeted Justin, handed notes at concerts, waited hours for him, etc. One day while I was on tumblr I saw a “Justin Bieber BIGGEST fan” VEVO contest, only thing it said “LA residents only.” Regardless, I entered and told them about how much my idol meant to me and 15 minutes later I received a call from them. They told me I had a really good chance at meeting Justin and to submit another video. I recorded another video and started to lose hope when May 1st came along. The final recording was held the next day and I hadn’t gotten an email. I gave it one last shot and checked my messages and I saw that I was selected to come down to LA and be recorded for VEVO for a chance at meeting Justin Bieber. I felt so humbled and blessed, but I didn’t know how I was going to get to LA on such short notice especially since I live 6 hours away. I used my money I had been saving for my Believe concert tickets to drive down that night. I didn’t have anyone to stay with so I stayed in a motel. With only one hour of sleep, I headed over to the studio which is where the recordings were being held, a few ladies took a liking to me which made me feel more comfortable. They had a huge snack table and the recording area looked so professional like a music video! I felt so worn down and exhausted but nothing else mattered because I knew I was there for my idol. Me and 3 other fans were recorded lip syncing BABY and then one by one we went up for an interview. While I was there, one of the ladies gave me an email to contact because she told me Justin was having an event tomorrow at MTV. Without hesitation I contacted the email and got information about the event. I felt like my odds were high and I left feeling proud of myself for believing in this so much. Money was running low and I was afraid I had to head home because I had no where to stay but I pinched out my last few bucks and managed to find a place. The next morning I received all the information I needed and the location. It was held around 2:30pm PST and I arrived at the location, waiting while each of us got a number and pass. We all headed up the elevator and then sent to a room that had snacks for us to eat while we waited for them to fix up the area. At around 3, we were all led into the room where the BOYFRIEND premier was held on MTV. It was amazing to be there and then we all met Sway. We were all lined up and told what to do. The questions asked were already picked before we went on air which was a bit unfair, since they just chose random people based on their number. Sway rehearsed a few times with a fake Justin, and we all got the feel of what it was going to be like. Around 4:30pm we saw Kenny enter and that’s when we knew Justin was here! Justin headed in a car and once he stepped out we all applauded. He walked down the red carpet and handed out a few hugs to fans and when he was right in front of me I was able to touch his back hoping he’d turn around and give me a hug. As the interview proceeded, BOYFRIEND was finally shown and during the video, Justin was so immobilized by his video. It was so cute to see how proud he looked. After the show ended Justin said with a huge smile on his face, “You guys want pictures?” White Kenny told Justin no and that he had to leave, but Justin refused and stayed to take a photo with each and every one of us. When standing in line I had no idea what I wanted to say, but it came naturally when I was right in front of him. White Kenny took my photo and walking up to Justin I said, “It has been my biggest dream to meet you.” He told me, “Awww well I’m glad it finally happened.” He gave me a kiss on the cheek and we took a photo. I hugged him so tight and I can’t tell you how proud I felt to be there. After the photo I said, “Never say never right?” Justin smiled at me and told me, “Exactly.” He’s the sweetest person and really is grounded. After I got to meet Kenny and we talked about his braces and he was so kind and introduced himself to me and shook my hand. We took a photo and I then went back and took a few other fans photos for them. Justin you’re amazing, there’s so much more I wanted to say to you but I’m happy I got to say what came from my heart. You’re amazing and I never thought this would happen, no one believed in me..but I never gave up. ‘I was on my laptop listening to my album. At least that’s what DJ Khaled told Sway on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live” about his recent tour bus explosion . A video of the incident, showing Khaled reflecting on the loss while the bus was engulfed in a mountain of flames, has been making the rounds, but the Miami DJ/producer finally explained what happened in the exclusive interview. Apparently, a bare tire caused the large bus to overcompensate and heat up on the bottom. The growing temperature hit flammable material on the back end and, upon exiting the bus, everything under the hood was burnt. “In no longer than five minutes, the whole bus was completely on fire,” Khaled told Sway, still dumbfounded by the experience. “I wasn’t scared. I got real stressed at a moment. I had to stop, and my camera man, Daze, was like ‘I’m gonna film this. I gotta capture this.’ ” Losses for Khaled include at least 150 pairs of sneakers and up to $600,000 in jewelry, including two big-faced Rolex watches. Knowing time was limited, he and his crew made sure to grab the most important thing: music for his upcoming album.”I was on my laptop listening to my album. It’s the only thing I grabbed,” he said. “That’s the album. Very important… Everybody sacrificed to make sure we got the laptop and the drive.” More than any material loss, Khaled was thankful that everyone got through the experience unscathed. “We all go through pains and stress. We here,” he said. “It is what it is, but we got life.” Khaled also has some friends in high places to make life easier. During “MTV First: Battleship,” her co-star Taylor Kitsch said he was excited to see her take on the role. “Yeah, there’s an excitement behind [working with Rihanna]. It leads the list with the most nominations alongside Kristen Wiig’s Oscar-nominated comedy, “Bridesmaids.” “The Hunger Games,” the first of three (possibly four) films adapted from Suzanne Collins’ dystopian saga, is on course to break $400 million in earnings domestically . With break-out performances by the cast, it’s no surprise that they’re contenders for an array of categories. Entering their first ever MTV Movie Awards, Jennifer Lawrence and company are up for Movie of the Year, Best Cast, Best Female Performance (Lawrence), Best Male Performance ( Josh Hutcherson ), Breakthrough Performance ( “Liam Hemsworth ), Best On-Screen Transformation ( Elizabeth Banks ), Best Fight (Lawrence and Hutcherson vs. Alexander Ludwig ), and Best Kiss (Lawrence and Hutcherson). The fan-favorite category of Best Kiss has Lawrence and Hutcherson up against their biggest competition: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and Emma Watson and Rupert Grint. With “Twilight” gracing fewer categories, there’s a good chance Twihards will be out for blood, vigorously voting for their beloved vampires to make sure they take home the golden popcorn for every nomination. Plus, Robsten has been the reigning champion for the past three years, always teasing that kiss the fans are hoping will finally happen this year. And as this is the last chance for Watson and Grint to nab the award, we may see the Potterheads’ determination win out in the end. This award is anyone’s guess, but if we take a look at the figures, “Hunger Games” already has a promising start. As the premiere film in a franchise first made popular by the books, its opening weekend saw bigger numbers than both the first “Twilight” and “Harry Potter” films. We may be on the verge of a new era where fanged teeth and wands are out and bow and arrows are in. Will we see the same numbers when it comes down to the ultimate award: Movie of the Year? Not only is “Hunger Games” battling it out again with “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” and “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, Part 2,” but the category also features two Oscar-nominated films, “The Help” and “Bridesmaids.” Katniss and company are going to need to break out more than a few snares to dominate this one. It’s a good thing they already have a big army of fans on their side. With all the money “Hunger Games” enthusiasts have been pouring into its box-office reign lately, it’s safe to assume their dedication to will bode well for the actors who play our favorite citizens of Panem. With his most-recent deal, fans won’t have to fathom that possibility. A few weeks back, Weezy announced on MTV’s “Hip Hop POV” that he re-signed with Cash Money for a four-album deal, and since then, rumors have begun to surface that Birdman put up $150 million to retain Wayne’s recording rights. “YMCMB start and stop with Wayne; it ain’t no YMCMB without Wayne,” Birdman told MTV News correspondent Sway Calloway on Monday night while DJ Khaled was shooting his “Take It to the Head” video in L.A. On “POV,” Wayne said, “Everybody knows I came into the game at 11 years old with Cash Money Records, before we even had a major deal. We signed a deal in I don’t remember when, and I been with Cash Money ever since. So, if you’re looking for integrity, I am the definition. If you’re looking for a person that’s gonna stay down, I am the definition. If you’re looking for loyalty, I am just that.” Birdman wouldn’t confirm the exact figures in the deal, but he made it clear that when it comes to Wayne, who he considers a son, the sky is the limit. “The type of situation we did never been done in urban music; it’s probably the biggest deal ever in urban music,” he said. “I’m blessed to even do that — whatever my son want, he can get. It’s all his anyway, so it don’t really matter to me.” With Weezy as the flagship, the #1 Stunna hopes to grow his Cash Money/Young Money company into a billion-dollar brand. “That’s one of our goals, and the move we just made was a big move to that, to make sure the pioneer of it, which is Wayne,” he said. Tunechi’s next album will be I Am Not a Human Being II , and the new deal ensures that it won’t be his last.
