The album, which is on track to be another #1 from Wayne, was loaded with a ton of celebrity talent, including production by Swizz Beatz and Zaytoven and features from Kendrick Lamar, XXXTentacion, Nicki Minaj, and Travis Scott. Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise take a moment to break down their favorite things about the album and then give it a 1-10 rating from their perspective. Next up, Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise discuss Logic’s new nearly 8 minute track, “Wu-Tang Forever” featuring Cappadonna, Masta Killa, U-God, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Method Man, GZA, RZA, and every other living member of the Wu you can think of. The song appears on Logic’s YSIV project. Obviously, Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise are huge hip hop heads but were they feeling this one from Logic? They take a moment to break down the record and give their honest rating. Do you agree with their review? The fellas then discuss the upcoming film, First Man , which hits theaters on October 12. The film is about NASA’s mission to land a man on the moon and focuses on Neil Armstrong, played by Ryan Gosling, during the years of 1961-1969. The film is based on a book by James R. Hansen which details a first hand account of everything that transpired during that historic period. It was rated highly by Rotton Tomatoes, which gave it an 88% rating but were Landon Levarius and DJ Franchise feeling it? Each Halloween , white folks all across America feel like it’s their opportunity to show just how racist and hateful they are. According to NWITimes , a young girl was on the phone with her mother, Toya Griffin, while walking along her route to school when she came across an effigy of a Black man being hanged in someone’s front yard. Her mother implored her to take a photo in case the owners targeted their home in the future. “She was like, ‘No, no, they’re going to see me taking a picture of this.’ She’s like, ‘I got to walk to school every day,’” Griffin said. Eventually she did take a photo and sent it to her mother who contacted the police. “The hands were tied behind the back. The feet were tied around the ankles,” Griffin said. “It’s the same manner as a lynching.” A police spokesman said that the after speaking to the homeowners, the lynched “decoration” was said to have had a “Jason” mask on initially, but the masked was “stolen” so the character was only a black-faced body resembling a Black man. Momma Griffin also had an issue with the officer who responded because he didn’t see the problem with the hanged “Jason”, to that she responded: “OK, what does Halloween have to do with lynching?” she said. “This is not a scarecrow. Dorothy Hong/Team Epiphany “Insecure” Season 3 Finale Reactions Last night the season three finale of “Insecure” rightfully named “Ghost-Like” aired and the Issa V.S. Nathan drama finally came to a head. After Nathan popped up at Issa’s house after a MONTH STRAIGHT of being M.I.A. he was secretly shooed away by Molly who refused to let him ruin her bestie’s birthday. Later Molly admitted to Issa that she “had her back” and ghostbusted Nathan, but it backfired when Issa angrily stormed away and told Molly she overstepped her boundaries. It sounds a loooot like he was going through a depression but watchers never got a definitive answer either way. Issa: “You ghosted me and left LA because you were in a bad mood?” Nathan: “I wish I had a better explanation.” And while some people applauded “Insecure” for seemingly starting a slow leak on a mental health discussion… One thing Nathan’s storyline did do well today is show the impact that black men’s mental health issues can have on black women. Between him & Lawrence, Issa has dealt w/a lot from men who have depression. But I’m glad you’re here because you worked to find this.” On Learning To Embrace Herself “I didn’t love myself until I was 21,” she reveals. “Twenty-one was the worst year of my life.” She says that hitting rock bottom and “crawling out of the tunnel” helped to inform the Lizzo we know today, and she says the experience was intrinsically unfair. “Everyone shouldn’t have to hit rock bottom to love themselves,” she says. “That’s just the society we’re all unfortunately born in — the one where you have to hit your worst and hate yourself in order to love yourself? Those laws only exist because self-hate is so prevalent. Body positivity only exists because body negativity is the norm.” On Body Positivity “It’s bizarre to me that what I’m saying and doing is revolutionary, because it should be so innate and first-nature. Not even second-nature,” she says. “We should love ourselves first. We should look at our bodies as vehicles for success, and not a signifier of who you are, how good your pussy is, if dudes like you or not, or if you can fit certain clothes…that’s not what your body’s for.” On Gender/Sexuality “When it comes to sexuality or gender, I personally don’t ascribe to just one thing. I cannot sit here right now and tell you I’m just one thing,” she says. “That’s why the colors for LGBTQ+ are a rainbow! Because there’s a spectrum and right now we try to keep it black and white. Recently, speculation has been swirling that RHOA star Kenya Moore is faking her pregnancy and her marriage . When Kenya posted and then deleted words that made fans wonder if she regretting her wedding, the rumors only magnified. Kenya has seen the speculation — and she’s not mincing words with her clapback. RadarOnline reports that Kenya Moore posted this ominous message to Instagram: “Don’t love too soon. Don’t trust too fast.” Coming only about a year after her secret wedding to Marc Daly, some wondered if she had regrets. “Don’t judge too soon. Don’t quit too early.” Others wondered if this was simply good advice. “Don’t expect too high. Don’t talk too much.” (I’ve never been good at following that last piece of advice) The odd thing is that there is no sign of that post on Kenya’s Instagram right now. She reportedly deleted it, replacing it with a photo in which her wedding band is clearly visible. Some wondered if she and Marc had been fighting. There have been absurd rumors that she is faking her pregnancy in order to stay relevant — rumors that we have already ridiculed for their absurdity. (Can a pregnancy be faked? Sure! But it defies reason to believe that Kenya is doing that simply because she isn’t pushing her baby bump in everyone’s faces) Did Kenya post that after an argument with Marc and then switch it out after they made nice? Or is it more likely that she posted some sage advice and then deleted it when people started reading way, way too much into it? Either way, Kenya is clearly pissed about the speculation and rumors about her marriage and pregnancy, because she posted this: “#FAKENEWS” Oh boy, remember when this term was only used to apply to deliberately manufactured “news” stories in the political arena? Genuine hoaxes like Pizzagate? “@bet @celebrity_insider_org @theinquisitr shame on you for constantly regurgitating the slanderous fake news from #radaronline.” Well, discussing an existing story isn’t shameful. You can’t debunk something without addressing it. “Fake Husband, Fake Pregnancy, Fake Boyfriends, Fake Storyline, FIred, Fake Divorce.” To be fair, there were genuinely plenty of people — us included — who were truly worried that Kenya would be fired from RHOA over her marriage. Kenya apparently wishes that sites would totally fabricate things about her. “At least be effing original with your hateful lies.” This just in: Kenya Moore has to be careful to avoid mishaps, as the Illuminati cloning facility that she uses to stay young-looking has been destroyed in the Kilauea eruption . Would that be a satisfactory fake story? (We kid, of course — everyone knows that the Illuminati Deep State Lizard people keeping their cloning facilities on the moon) “I’m used to you all making up stories to get clicks off my name but LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE.” Some celebrities have topics that really get under their skin. This is clearly Kenya’s. “#thatamrsdaly2you #blacklove” Obviously, fans want to know about Kenya’s love life. It’s only natural — you see her on television and social media. But there are lines that we should probably avoid crossing. We would never want to hurt anyone’s feelings, of course. And ugly rumors can be extremely hurtful. Along with the eight women accusing the Academy Award winning actor, entertainment reporters have also come out saying they’ve felt Freeman was inappropriate with them. One being 31-year old Chloe Melas , who was “shocked” at Morgan for making a comment about her pregnancy. Is she reaching to the moon and back? Or Nah? I just can’t believe that not a single person at @CNN or @NewDay watched that @Chloe_Melas video and didn’t think to tell her that Morgan Freeman was talking about Michael Caine and not her. But Chloe Mela’s statement doesn’t seem to equate to the pain, ridicule and embarrassment that other women who’ve been assaulted had suffered. Kelly Dodd finished her divorce from Michael Dodd, but responded with understandable outrage when Vicki Gunvalson appeared to be playing wingman for Michael and helping him hook up on a Vegas trip. Ouch . The upside to this whole messy situation is that we’ll get to see it all play out next season on The Real Housewives of Orange County . But here’s what we know: There’s some great news in Kelly Dodd’s personal life that she’s been just bursting to share. On February 23rd, the Real Housewife took to Twitter to make the happy announcement: “My divorce is final today!! Over the moon happy!” Divorces are among the most stressful experiences that a person can have — short of staying in a doomed, miserable marriage. That’s not really a surprise, since we all saw Kelly Dodd’s marriage in shambles on The Real Housewives of Orange County last November. Some divorces take years of court battles, so it’s wonderful news that Kelly Dodd got her divorce in such a short time. However, Kelly’s (former?) friend, Vicki Gunvalson, has become the subject of Kelly’s ire over her ex’s hookup. See, while in Vegas, apparently Vicki and her boyfriend, Steve Lodge, more or less set up Kelly’s ex, Michael, with a mutual friend. Kelly was furious to see Vicki appear to give Michael aid and comfort. That’s pretty understandable. RadarOnline has the scoop on this drama that is unfolding between Kelly Dodd and Vicki Gunvalson . For starters, it sounds like Vicki is denying everything. “Vicki has tried doing everything she can to back pedal on this one, and she insists that she did not purposely try to set Michael up with her and Steve’s mutual friend.” So … it just happened? “She told Kelly that the hookup happened organically while they were on vacation, and that she didn’t mean to hurt her at all.” We wonder how Kelly took those assurances. Just kidding — no need to wonder. “Kelly obviously thinks that Vicki is full of s–t and so does the rest of the cast.” That’s a bold claim. “Vicki was supposed to be her friend, and now Kelly just thinks that she is nothing but a backstabbing b—h.” There are clearly a lot of emotions at play, here. “But Kelly is moving on from this and is not going to waste any more time worrying about her ex-husband — and ex-friend!” Oh goodness. Will this be a new longstanding feud, or will they mend fences at the end of this storyline? Unfortunately, it sounds like Vicki’s stubbornness might cost her a friendship. “Vicki isn’t even trying to kiss Kelly’s a– at this point because she really believes that she did not do anything wrong.” Even if you don’t think that you did anything wrong, sometimes it helps to apologize and take steps in that direction. It sounds like Vicki’s loyalties are torn. “Vicki honestly likes Michael, and she cannot change the fact that Michael and Steve are close friends now.” A lot of people end up being friends with each other’s exes. It’s part of life. Most don’t vacation with them, but still. And it looks like some are just blaming Steve. “Kelly knows that the two are friends, so for her to try and put the blame on Vicki is just complete crap!” It’s worth noting that RadarOnline reports that this drama will play out, on camera, on the next season of The Real Housewives of Orange County . In other words, viewers and fans will get to see Kelly Dodd explode over this on camera. Is Kelly Dodd right — did Vicki betray her (and the unwritten “girl code”) by enabling Michael Dodd to hook up? Is Vicki Gunvalson right — is Kelly freaking out over something that was beyond Vicki’s control, with Vicki merely being polite to her boyfriend’s friend and an organic hookup taking place? Perhaps, as the storyline plays out on television, we’ll all find out together.
