‘Jersey Shore’ Cast Laugh It Up On ‘The View’

Snooki, the Situation and company talk about fame, season two and beyond. By Jocelyn Vena “Jersey Shore” cast Photo: Scott Gries/ Picture Group When the cast of “Jersey Shore” stopped by “The View” on Tuesday (February 23), Joy Behar was determined to dig into the personal lives of the cast, wondering just how Italian they are, if they are watching the money they are making and if they use protection when they have sex. But for most of the interview, the MTV reality stars cracked jokes and talked about their newfound fame. When Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was asked when she knew she was famous, she quickly responded, “Pretty much at birth. Just my personality and my look. I don’t know. I mean just look at me. I have good style. I think it’s all the hair.” While it seems like Snooki gets a lot of the attention, Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino and the rest of the crew insisted that no one is jealous of each other’s fame. “Everyone gets their own stuff,” he explained, before turning down the chance to show off his infamous abs. “You know what, I really don’t want to cheapen the product these days. The brand is actually the situation.” Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio added that he’s not about to quit his night job now that he’s famous. “I’m still DJ-ing,” he said. “But now my rate went up.” Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro remained tight-lipped about their relationship status, but Jenni “J-Woww” Farley revealed that she and her boyfriend are back together. “We’re fine now,” she said. “Nobody realizes that we weren’t even together for two weeks.” So, what’s next for the cast? While Vinny Guadagnino is just hoping that season two of “Jersey Shore” takes place somewhere warm, the Situation has a good idea of what he wants to do in the long term: He’s got his sights set on Hollywood. “I got a deep belief in myself that I can do anything, so after maybe doing one or two more years of reality, if that, then I’ll move on to possibly acting,” he said. “If it doesn’t work out, then hey, I tried. I shot for the stars. If you hit the moon, you’re still OK.” Related Photos Where Should The Cast Of ‘Jersey Shore’ Go For Season 2?

Full Bonnaroo 2010 Lineup Includes Jay-Z, Kings Of Leon, More

Festival roster includes more than 90 acts spanning many genres. By James Montgomery Jay-Z Photo: Dave M. Benett/ Getty Images Well, it took all day, but finally, on Tuesday night (February 9), organizers revealed the full lineup for the 2010 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, scheduled for June 10-13 in Manchester, Tennessee. Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Weezer and Flaming Lips top the bill for this year’s ‘Roo, a list of more than 90 acts spanning genres and eras. There are genuine legends (Jimmy Cliff, John Fogerty), established rock acts (the Dead Weather), hip-hop talent (Wale, Nas, Kid Cudi), electro heavyweights (LCD Soundsystem, Thievery Corporation) and bands that hearken back to the festival’s earlier, decidedly jammy routes (Medeski, Martin and Wood, the Disco Biscuits), not to mention the annual WTFs (Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, Darryl Hall with Chromeo). All in all, it’s a rather jam-packed four days of music. Rather than announce the full lineup, organizers broke from tradition and revealed each performer individually on the Bonnaroo MySpace page , a decision that was as time-consuming as it was brilliant. According to a spokesperson for the festival, the full lineup will swell to some 125 acts and over 20 comedians, performing on 13 different stages. Tickets for the 2010 edition of Bonnaroo are already on sale at the fest’s Web site , with a four-day pass costing $234.50. There are also RV passes available, and a super-deluxe “Total Access” package, which offers 24-concierge service, onstage viewing for all performances and complimentary food. As in previous years, organizers are also giving attendees the option to purchase tickets on an installment plan. The full list of confirmed artists for the 2010 Bonnaroo festival:

New bands added to the continually growing bill (festival organizers have decided to reveal a new act every five minutes on Bonnaroo’s MySpace page ) include hometown heroes the Kings of Leon , Dave Matthews Band , Tokyo Police Club , She & Him , the National, Tori Amos, Gwar, They Might Be Giants, Damian Marley and Nas , and the Manchester Orchestra . 2010 Bonnaroo Lineup They join previously announced acts like Jay-Z, Weezer, the Flaming Lips — with Stardeath and the White Dwarves, who will perform Pink Floyd’s classic Dark Side of the Moon album — and Steve Martin, not to mention Norah Jones, Wale, Regina Spektor, the Avett Brothers, Medeski Martin and Wood, Bassnectar, Phoenix and the XX. Tickets for Bonnaroo 2010 are on sale now through the festival’s Web site , with a four-day pass going for $234.50. For those wishing to experience the fest in the lap of luxury (read: with semi-private toilets), there are RV passes going for $150. There are also super-deluxe “Total Access” packages with 24-hour concierge service and complimentary meals available for a significantly higher cost. And as in previous years, Bonnaroo is also offering attendees the opportunity to purchase tickets on an installment plan. The final lineup for the festival won’t be revealed until 9 p.m. Tuesday night (February 9). Jewel’s Saggy Hick Tits of the Day

Jewel is everyone’s favorite fucked up tooth redneck who was raised in Alaska by wolves, where she was shoeless, homeless and clearly braless. Where her only worldly possessions were an old guitar she made out of bear bones and fur she got when she had to wrestle a bear down for food one cold and snowy night, before stealing a car and bringing her lesbian sound to America where she forumlated this bullshit story for marketing purposes, but the only thing that makes it believable is the sag in her tit that can only come from years of running through the woods hunting and gathering, braiding her armpit hair, howling at the moon without the support these fuckin’ things needed…which I guess is all part of the reason she married a rodeo man, since he’s used to handling wild fucking things with utters. Bonnaroo 2010 Lineup Includes Weezer, the Flaming Lips, Phoenix

Norah Jones, Wale, Flaming Lips, the xx also announced in gradual MySpace reveal. By James Montgomery Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo Photo: Chris Weeks/ WireImage Weezer, the Flaming Lips and Phoenix are among the first batch of artists confirmed for the 2010 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, to be held June 10-13 in — as always — Manchester, Tennessee. Artists are being announced in a series of rolling reveals that will continue throughout the day on Bonnaroo’s MySpace page . Tickets for the fest are on sale now through its official site , with a four-day pass running $234.50. An RV pass (if you want to experience the fest in luxury) will cost an extra $150. As in previous years, Bonnaroo is also offering attendees the opportunity to purchase tickets on an installment plan. Other early confirmations for Bonnaroo 2010 are Norah Jones, comedian/ Grammy-winning bluegrass enthusiast Steve Martin (with his Steep Canyon Rangers), Wale, Regina Spektor, John Fogerty, the Avett Brothers, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Ingrid Michaelson, Bassnectar and hotly tipped Brits the xx. The Flaming Lips will be joined by Stardeath and the White Dwarves (the band fronted by Lips’ main man Wayne Coyne’s nephew) and — much like they did in a raucous Oklahoma City New Year’s Eve show — the groups will be performing Pink Floyd’s epic Dark Side of the Moon album. News of Weezer’s confirmation actually leaked earlier in the day, when the band tweeted that they would be performing at the 2010 ‘Roo. Through various online sources, the fest’s other rumored acts include Jay-Z, the Dave Matthews Band and Georgia metallers Baroness. But the only way to get the latest confirmations is to head over to Bonnaroo’s MySpace page, where a new band is being announced every five minutes.
