For the first time during the uprising in Egypt, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who appeared on all the major Sunday talk shows this morning, called for Egypt to hold free and fair elections that would ensure “real democracy.” This was another sign that the Administration was distancing itself from Egypt’s President, Hosni Mubarak, since a transition to democratic government would clearly result… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Think Progress Discovery Date : 30/01/2011 19:10 Number of articles : 2

The Sunset Limited Trailer, Starring Samuel L. Jackson, Tommy Lee Jones and an Apartment

Unfair as it may be, it’s often hard to get excited about movies that take place entirely in one or two rooms while two characters have it out verbally. That said, if you’re going to stick two actors in a room and film them, you could do a lot worse than Tommy Lee Jones and Samuel L. Jackson. A source play by Cormac McCarthy ( No Country for Old Men , The Road ) doesn’t hurt either. For proof, just check out the totally riveting full length trailer for the Jones-directed HBO movie The Sunset Limited .

Fox Searchlight Acquires Aptly-Titled Another Earth

One more Sundance acquisition to start the morning: Fox Searchlight will be bringing Mike Cahill’s low-budget sci-fi film Another Earth to theaters. Adam Dell Takes Padma Lakshmi to Court

Halle Berry is not the only beauty in a custody battle with an ex. Adam Dell, the ex-boyfriend of Top Chef judge Padma Lakshmi and the father of 11-month old Krishna, has filed documents in a Manhattan court that seek to make the former couple’s custody agreement official. Dell and Lakshmi had arranged a legal system-free deal that allowed the former to visit his daughter nine days per month, but that contract will be nullified when she turns a year old on February 20. With the relationship between the two having turned sour – partly, TMZ reports , over Dell’s hatred of his child’s name – the pair will now go to court to decide parental guidelines. Friends of the model/author says she feels “bullied” by her ex and fears this is Dell’s way of forcing her into a relationship with him.

Cover Your Ears: Spencer Pratt Sings AND Raps!

Unfortunately for the music industry and society, Spencer Pratt’s hip hop aspirations fizzled because of talent and financial limitations a little over a year ago. Luckily for his 14 fans, the Great White Nope sings AND raps on a track leaked this morning. “I Get Doe” is an ode to foolz getting paid. And misspelling words. The tune was recorded in mid-2009, and like the rap song we brought you Tuesday, ” Ain’t No Thang ,” it’s beyond bad and must be heard to be believed. Spencer Pratt – I Get Doe “This is the second song I did after I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here , and we called it I Get Doe, which is slang for money,” Spencer Pratt told Radar . Pratt goes head-to-head with both his critics and the show that launched his “career,” lambasting both with hard-hitting, racy lyrics like this opening bit: “Spencer Pratt… b!tch. I bet you think because you saw me on the TV that you know my whole life story. Let me tell you something you might not know.” “F**k what you talkin’ about, b*tch I get doe.” Amen.
