A few weeks ago, Abby Lee Miller resigned as host of Dance Moms. She is now free from the responsibilities of that Lifetime reality series. A few hours ago, however, Abby Lee Miller was sentenced to time behind bars for her admitted role in a bankruptcy scheme. Soon, she will no longer be a free woman. On Tuesday morning, a federal judge handed down a sentencing of one year and one day to the dancing instructor, following Miller’s official guilty plea last June. Miller had been indicted on 20 counts of fraud connected to hiding $755,000 in earnings from the government over the years. She filed for Chapter 11 in 2010 and then set up a hidden bank account, into which she deposited vast sums earned from television show appearances and merchandise sales. She did not disclose these deposits to the government, something she was legally required to do after claiming she was bankrupt. As a result of her guilty plea last year, Miller was convicted on one count of concealing assets and one count of not reporting an international transaction. During the sentencing hearing today, she took the stand and begged the judge for mercy, saying she had fallen victim to the sudden fame that came when Dance Moms took off. But Chief Judge Joy Flowers Conti wasn’t really having it. He didn’t seem to care very much about the crying defendant in front of him, telling Miller and a packed courtroom: “You weren’t truthful, even when you knew you were supposed to tell everything, you still weren’t truthful. Somehow you got caught up in the world of fame and you lost your moral compass.” In addition to her time behind bars, Miller was fined $40,000 and ordered to pay $120,000 judgement. Following her jail stint, the ex-reality star will remain on supervised release for two years. “Throughout this case, Ms. Miller has taken both the allegations and the proceedings very seriously,” Miller’s lawyer, Robert Ridge, previously told People Magazine in a statement. “This has been a challenging time for Ms. Miller. She appreciates the words of encouragement and support from around the world.” Over the past few weeks, Miller has granted Entertainment Tonight a number of interviews. She’s avoided the topic of her impending sentencing, however, choosing to slam her former bosses at Lifetime instead. “They know how to push my buttons, but it’s gone beyond that, to the point where it is so offensive as a woman,” Miller said of the producers shortly after she quit, adding: “I think it’s detrimental to my health, to my mental health, to everything. It’s awful. There’s no privacy, there’s no respect.” Well… Abby better get used to a lack of privacy. She won’t exactly have it in jail, either. This is what Miller said about a year ago in court upon admitting her guilt: “Events over the past several months have been extremely challenging for me, my family, my friends and most important, my students. “Because of this I made the very difficult decision to close the door on this chapter of my life by accepting responsibility for mistakes I have made along the way.” While a year as an inmate and a six-figure fine may seem like a lot, Miller really ought to consider herself lucky. She could have been sentenced to five years and up to $5 million in fines. Sadly, we all know how this is going to end up, don’t we? Miller is going to jail for basically the same crime as committed by Teresa Giudice. And she emerged from prison with an even bigger paycheck then she was previously receiving from Bravo, as well as an integral role on The Real Housewives of New Jersey . We wish we could say that we’ve seen the last of Abby Lee Miller. But we highly doubt that’s the case.

Well… this escalated quickly. On Sunday night, Farrah Abraham donned a Bollywood-inspired outfit to the MTV Movie & TV Awards, drawing criticism from all around the Internet because she appropriated a culture’s religious symbol in order to make a fashion statement. This is what she wore to the event: When asked about the ensemble, the short-tempered Teen Mom said she thought it was “sexy,” “amazing” and that she hoped it would “inspire others to embrace new cultures and have good experiences.” We guess we’ll need to wait to see if that happens. But we didn’t need to wait very long to get Kailyn Lowry’s take on her fellow reality star’s red carpet attire. Approached for comment by The Dirty, Lowry didn’t exactly offer up the most scathing critique of all-time. Still, she made it clear she wasn’t a fan of Abraham’s choice here. “I didn’t see Farrah, but her outfit was cute,” said Lowry, clearly being sarcastic and adding: “It’s not a costume party, but whatever… I’m not sure why it would offend people, [but] she already did the costume thing at the VMA’s last year. It’s old.” Like we said, these don’t really read like fighting words – unless you’re Farrah Abraham. “Was she even invited?” Abraham angrily replied to The Dirty when told of Lowry’s opinion. And then Farrah went right for the jugular. “Her look of being pregnant has been done and is old,” she said of Lowry, who is expecting her third child with her third baby daddy. “Stop getting knocked up by randoms.” Yes, stop getting knocked up by randoms . Amazing. For the record, Lowry is the mother to a seven-year old son that she had with long-time boyfriend Jo Rivera. She’s also the mother to a three-year old son that she shares with ex-husband Javi Marroquin. We’re pretty sure having a child with one’s husband is the opposite of having it with a random . Now, Lowry has finally come out and admitted that her impending son or daughter was made possible via unprotected sex with some dude named Chris Lopez . And, okay, granted, yeah: he’s pretty darn random. He’s so random, in fact, that he’s somehow managed to scarcely have an Internet presence, even in this day and age. Good luck finding any real photos of Chris Lopez. Nevertheless, this is a pretty harsh clapback at Lowry, especially when you consider that she didn’t even say Abraham’s MTV Awards dress was offensive. But it’s also what makes Farrah Abraham… Farrah Abraham. For all of her many, many, many, MANY faults as a human being, Farrah only has one child, an eight-year old girl named Sophia. She’s doesn’t know how to avoid exploiting her daughter at all times , but she has apparently learned how to use a condom. So this is one soapbox on which Farrah can comfortably stand, and on which many other Teen Mom cast members can’t say very much in response. Will Lowry fire back at Abraham? Will this feud escalate to even more mean-spirited and personal levels? Probably not. Lowry, after all, has a couple other fires to put out first, considering her previous two baby daddies both just called her out for spending time with a mystery man while pregnant. It's almost time for the new season of Marriage Boot Camp — are you excited?! You should be, because this season is a very special Reality Stars Family Edition, which means that we'll get to see four reality stars try to repair their relationships with their family. We'll see Kendra Wilkinson and her mother, which should be extremely messy , and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino with his two brothers, which should be Jersey Shore-style trashy. Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson will be there with his mother, and from what we've seen, it just looks like that will be terribly sad. The group will be rounded out with none other than Farrah Abraham and her parents, Debra and Michael. And that's where the magic lies . The show was kind enough to release an extended look at what goes down this season, and it's … well, it's disturbing and uncomfortable and really all the things we knew it would be. In Farrah's introduction video, she explains that “I'm here because I'm done with f-cking crazy ass drama in my life.” OK, honey. Sure. “I've seen my mom do very hurtful things,” she says, “and I've gone to the point where I was like, 'then f-cking die already.'” If she ever said “f-cking die already” to her mother, is there really any point in trying to salvage the relationship? Farrah also says that if she has to choose one word to describe her father, it would be “pansy,” so maybe they should all just pack up and save themselves some time. Oh, and she ALSO says that she has no family support and no family to help her, which is funny, considering we've seen her parents step up time and time again when she decided to chase fame instead of raising her daughter.
