Golden Globe Awards 2016: List of Winners!

The 2016 Golden Globe Awards, the 73rd annual, aired live from Tinseltown Sunday, honoring the best of the best from TV and film. Well, according to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association anyway. Their picks are sometimes dubious, but it’s always a good time! With Ricky Gervais hosting and slinging the jabs left and right, it was a memorable night for fans – and of course, the television shows and movies you’d expect to win big. Mostly. Some of the programs and films that prevailed surprised us a little bit. How about you? And did your favorites pull out a win? Lauren Bacall Dies; Legendary Actress Was 89

Lauren Bacall, a legendary actress who got her start back in 1944 and worked for six decades in cinema, has passed away. She was 89 years old. Bacall’s death was confirmed by the Humphrey Bogart Estate via Facebook. “With deep sorrow for the magnitude of our loss, yet with great gratitude for her amazing life, we confirm the passing of Lauren Bacall,” read the online message posted this evening. Bacall appeared in the Harper’s Bazaar cover when she was 19 and was signed by Warner Bros. in 1943. She appeared in a Hemingway novel adaption (To Have and Have Not) in 1944 and married Humphrey Bogart a year later. She and the famous actor were parents to a son (Stephen) and a daughter (Leslie), though Bogat died in 1957. Bacall admittedly had an affair with Frank Sinatra and also had a son with Jason Robards, her husband of 12 years. Celebrities We Lost in 2014 1. Philip Seymour Hoffman R.I.P. Philip Seymour Hoffman (1967-2014). He will forever be missed! At the age of 72, Bacall  was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for playing the mother of Barbra Streisand’s character in The Mirror Has Two Faces. In 2010, she received a Life Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. Most recently, Bacall appeared on an episode of Family Guy as a friend of Peter’s mom, named Evelyn. The long-time star’s passing comes on the heels of Robin Williams committing suicide .

Here is the Sin City 2 Poster every nerd has been waiting for…that has apparently been banned because they people at the Motion Picture Association of America do not believe in freeing the nipple like they were Scout Willis….and prefer their movie posters to be less soft core pornographic, even when they star of the movie is some soft core porn actress from France…who happens to have awesome tits… This is the story… A poster for the Sin City sequel A Dame To Kill For has been banned by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) for showing one of its stars Eva Green holding a gun and looking sultry in a revealing thin gown.
