Sarah Lane is at it again. The professional dancer, who served as a body double for Natalie Portman in Black Swa n and has said she was on camera for a major of dance scenes, spoke to 20/20 last night and said producers told her to remain quiet about her role. Sarah Lane 20/20 Interview “They were trying to create this image, this facade, really, that Natalie had done something extraordinary. Something that is pretty much impossible… to become a professional ballerina in a year and half,” said Lane . “Even with as hard as she worked, it takes so much more.” Director Darren Aronofsky and co-star Mila Kunis have both questioned Lane’s assessment, but she says “they’re completely lying about the amount of dancing that Natalie did in the movie.” That’s why she’s speaking out. Lane insists that she is simply standing up for the dancing community. “I’ve been doing this for 22 years, and to say that someone trained for a year and a half and did what I did is degrading not only to me but to the entire ballet world.”
Is Lindsay Lohan about to land a role that could reignite her career? Today, the actress posed for photographs at a New York City press conference for Gotti: Three Generations , an upcoming movie about the mob family. John Travolta and Joe Pesci will star in the film, with Nick Cassavetes directing. Lindsay has been rumored to be on board as a younger Victoria Gotti. The key word there is rumored. It’s not official, and even though she was on hand today, she refused to answer questions about her potential role. Will Lindsay Lohan bring Victoria Gotti to life on the big screen? A role in a big, prestigious movie like Gotti: Three Generations would give her career – DOA since her 2007 DUI – a boost. But producers may be hedging. When asked what appealed to her about the film, Fiore Films publicist Steve Honig dodged the question for Lohan, calling it premature to discuss her role. Lohan was recently fired from Inferno , the Linda Lovelace biopic, and there’s no way her ongoing legal problems and train wreck status weren’t to blame. Look out, Henry Cavill. An Oscar nominee will soon be coming your way. Michael Shannon has been cast as General Zod, the main villain, in Superman: Man of Steel . The Boardwalk Empire star is also known for his role in Revolutionary Road. Said director Zack Snyder of the casting: “Zod is not only one of Superman’s most formidable enemies, but one of the most significant because he has insights into Superman that others don’t. Michael is a powerful actor who can project both the intelligence and the malice of the character, making him perfect for the role.” The next installment of this iconic franchise will be released in 2012 and also feature Amy Adams as Lois Lane, and Diane Lane and Kevin Costner as Martha and Jonathan Kent, respectively. In real life, Lily Collins has already found her prince. She’s dating Taylor Lautner . On the big screen, though, the daughter of music legend Phil Collins will be waiting for one, as she’s been cast as Snow White in Relativity Media’s upcoming movie based on the Brothers Grimm story. Collins will appear opposite Julia Roberts (as the evil stepmother) and Armie Hammer (as the aforementioned prince) in this “action-comedy” retelling of the classic tale, set for a June 2012 release. There’s actually another Snow White movie in the works and it also has a Twilight connection: Kristen Stewart has landed the lead role in Snow White and the Huntsman . Charlize Theron will also star.

The Bones star and Hornsby, a writer-actor best known for his role as Rickety Cricket on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia , began dating in 2007. As first reported by The Los Angeles Times , the singer in negotiations to star opposite Ashton Kutcher in a comedy titled What Would Kenny Do? . It would focus on a high school student who receives guidance from a grown-up version of himself. For Bieber, who guest-starred earlier this season on CSI , the role would make his first foray into fiction on the big screen. With Never Say Never , of course, the 17-year old broke records and proved he has major box office power. Would you go see a comedy that featured him and Kutcher?
Speaking on the final installment of the Harry Potter franchise, Rupert Grint said this week: “The reason they’re on this journey is much bigger than any one of them. It has to come to a head at some point.” And come to a head it does on July 15, when Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premieres. In the following sneak peek, we see Hogwarts bursting into flames, along with Harry and Voldemort going wand-to-wand. We also hear these words from Grint’s Ron: “This is it, really.
