Alec Baldwin Shoves ANOTHER Photographer; Charges Not Expected to Be Filed

It looks like fatherhood has not mellowed Alec Baldwin. The actor, who welcomed a daughter with wife Hilaria Thomas last Friday, got into yet ANOTHER scuffle with a photographer today on the sidewalk of New York City. According to TMZ, several pedestrians witnessed the encounter and confirm that the paparazzo was the aggressor. He trailed Baldwin and Thomas until the latter fled into a tea store. The police were eventually called and both Alec and the unnamed “journalist” admit they engaged in some pushing and shoving. But both men also agreed to settle the matter on the spot. No charges are expected to be filed. Baldwin, of course, is nearly as famous for his tirades as he is for his hilarious hosting of Saturday Night Live. Although it wasn’t a physical altercation, the Emmy winner is still receiving flak for his Twitter rant this summer against a Daily Mail writer.

Man of Steel 2: Fan-Made Trailer Envisions Ben Affleck-Bryan Cranston Showdown

Ever since the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman shocked the world last Thursday, fans have either been grumbling about it or meme-ing it to death. Except YouTube user soylentbrak1, who has been hard at work envisioning what a Man of Steel sequel starring Ben Affleck as Batman would look like. The result was this fan-made trailer, also starring Breaking Bad Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor and Henry Cavill again as Superman. Check it out below and see if it changes your views on Ben as Bruce Wayne: Man of Steel 2 Trailer (Fan-Made) There isn’t much plot in this Man of Steel 2 trailer, besides the mention of a mysterious corporate merger and some tension between Superman and Batman. Given that it’s not a real trailer, however, it’s pretty top notch. Affleck in a Wayne-esque suit and Cranston with a shaved head, Walter White style, saying Breaking Bad quotes Luthor might say? Quite creative. Cranston playing Luthor has also been rumored, while Affleck’s casting has already been confirmed. Amy Adams plays Lois in the above trailer. Besides Breaking Bad, footage used came from Total Recall, Daredevil, Elysium, Iron Man 2 and The Dark Knight . Can you spot any other roles?

James Brown Biopic to Star Chadwick Boseman

Chadwick Boseman (42) is no stranger to biopics. He’ll be starring in another big one soon, this time playing the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. The 31-year actor has been cast as the lead in the biopic chronicling the singer’s meteoric rise from poverty to music glory in the 1960s and 70s. James Brown died in 2006 at the age of 73. It is not yet known if Boseman will be singing the songs himself or lip-synching to Brown tracks in the film. Mick Jagger and Brian Grazer are also on board as producers, while Tate Taylor will direct. Filming on the project is expected to begin this fall. Prior to starring in 42 as Jackie Robinson, Boseman had appeared mostly on TV. Boseman is also a playwright and director of several short films.

Chris Brown Suffers Seizure, Status Unknown

Chris Brown reportedly suffered a seizure earlier this morning. Details beyond that basic news are unknown at this time. According to TMZ sources, the Los Angeles Fire Department got a call from and went to a recording studio in Hollywood around 1 a.m. local time. However, Brown refused treatment , allegedly, when confronted by emergency technicians… and then also refused transportation to the hospital. We cannot confirm whether the singer really did suffer a seizure, but this is a condition he dealt with as a child. We’ll update this story as news breaks. Brown made headlines earlier this week when he teased that he may quit music following his next album due in part to the ongoing scrutiny he’s under. UPDATE : The Fire Department confirms via a spokesman that it responded to an emergency call, but did not identity the subject of said call. Brown’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Karrueche Tran , meanwhile, posted a pair of Tweets that appear to address Brown’s health scare. “Prayers all day,” she wrote: adding, “a lot on my mind today .. I need a hug.”

Harrison Ford: Expendables 3 and Indiana Jones 5? All In a Day’s Work!

Harrison Ford may not be fulfilling our dreams of taking over the  Star Wars VII movie single handily but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been making waves here lately. Earlier in the day, Ford made the entertainment headlines by saying he’d be on board for an  Indiana Jones 5 despite being 71 years old. “To me, what was interesting about the character was that he prevailed, that he had courage, that he had wit, that he had intelligence, that he was frightened, and that he still managed to survive. That I can do.” You know what Mr. Ford? I believe you. I’ll go right along with the idea of another  Indiana Jones movie. If it can be worked out that Schwarzenegger is Conan once again, surely we can bring back the fedora. However, the second news story of the day is a little less exciting. Maybe it’s because I’m a female. Maybe it’s because it isn’t something legendary like  Indiana Jones . Or maybe it’s simply because I’m burnt out over the “a new sequel each year” model Hollywood seems to be following of late. But this news that Harrison Ford has signed on for  The Expendables 3 does absolutely nothing for me but cause eye rolling.  Sylvester Stallone tweeted earlier (Stallone tweets?) that “WILLIS OUT… HARRISON FORD IN!!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting for this!!!!” Am I wrong or did Sylvester Stallone just go fangirl on us? Either way, it appears as if Bruce Willis is leaving the movie and Harrison Ford is stepping in his place.  Perhaps Willis saw the writing on the wall and it looked very similar to that of  Red 2 and he’s the smarter man here? We’ll have to see. The Expendables 3 has a planned release on April 15 of next year.
