3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy Breaks Hong Kong Box Office Records

Earlier this month we reported on 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy, the big-budget titty flick that producers were touting as the world’s first 3D IMAX porno film. Well, it turns out that it is not the first 3D porno- check out the 1977 John Holmes / Uschi Digard vehicle Hot Skin , aka Disco Dolls in 3D . It’s not even the first porno to use the brand spanking new 3D IMAX technology- that honor goes to South Korea’s Natali , released last year. (The producer of 3D Sex and Zen has no love lost for the makers of Natali , publicly accusing them of rushing the film to theaters in order to steal his thunder.) But now 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy has a record of its very own- highest grossing 3D opening in Hong Kong ever! The film grossed HK$2.79 million ($360,000) in its opening weekend, blowing (among other things) the previous record holder, Avatar, out of the water. The film also set a new record for highest-grossing Category III (that’s Cantonese for “X”) opening ever, a record that was previously head by Ang Lee’s Lust, Caution (2007) . Skinterestingly, the ladies of Hong Kong have been a major factor in the success of 3D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy , packing theaters for girls-only “lady’s house” screenings. The ancient Chinese secret’s out- porno is for everybody!

Sara Paxton in Shark Night 3D: All Shark, No Bite

We are big fans of the Piranha 3D franchise here at Skin Central, so when we first heard the title Shark Night 3D , we did some mammary math and came up with the following equation: “carnivorous fish + 3D = nudity.” Then lead actress Sara Paxton totally killed our boobie buzz by telling EW that the film will be rated PG-13 and is “very different from [Piranha 3d]…but I don’t think people should go in expecting The Reader with Kate Winslet , either,” No, Sara. The Reader at least had bush in it. Despite our deflated expectations, the svelte Ms. Paxton does look pretty good in a bikini: Shark Night 3D , which opens in theaters September 2, is about a “group of college friends who spend the weekend at a lake, only to discover that danger lurks beneath its waters,” the danger, naturally, being sharks. Last month on the Mr. Skin blog we reported on the titillating thespians, Taryn Manning and Monica Keena , who have been cast as two of Charlie’s naked angels in the upcoming killer hippie epic Manson Girls . Now Lost babe Tania Raymonde , who is playing Leslie Van Houten , and True Blood alum Brit Morgan , making her nude debut as Patricia Krenwinkel , are talking Helter Skelter with Manson Girls director Susanna Lo on horror site Stay Thirsty, and it looks like Tania and Brit will be getting nude as well! Susanna Lo: You are both young and upcoming actresses on the big and small screens. Some of your older and more experienced co-stars have admitted to avoiding nudity and strong sexuality early in their careers. Do either of you have a concern about doing the girl-on-girl sex scenes between your characters or the group sex scenes at such an early stage of your career? Tania Raymonde: You can’t make a movie about the Manson girls without showing how the girls related to one another. They shared sexual connections as well as emotional ones. They were coerced and brainwashed into group sex situations that they more or less enjoyed. Sex was the glue that held their family together. It’s important to show how these girls lived. I’m only portraying a character as accurately as I can, as I would with any role. As far as the nudity is concerned, I’ll get over it. Brit Morgan: I have been avoiding nudity, for almost everything, so far in my career as well. So the sex scenes are new territory for me, but I am not as concerned as I imagined I’d be. Probably because this is one of the only films I’ve read where it seems like it’s necessary and integral to the authenticity of the story. Sexuality was such an important factor in the 1960’s and in the lives of these girls, so I am willing to express that part of myself. Girl-girl sex scenes? Group sex? Manson Girls is shaping up to be the grooviest love-in since the dawning of the Age of Aquarius! Until all the, uhm, brutal murders, of course. Jennifer Aniston Nude in Wanderlust: Early Skin Skout Report

While the Judd Apatow -produced Wanderlust is not scheduled for release until October, one of Mr. Skin’s most esteemed Skin Skouts caught an early screening this week and reports that the rumors are true: the movie does prominently feature Jennifer Aniston nude. New Arthouse Anatomy in Lars Von Trier’s Melancholia

Danish aerophobe Lars Von Trier may be an insufferable jerk who hates everyone, especially his critics (and oh, do they hate him right back), but damned if his movies aren’t chock full of nudity. The trailer for Von Trier’s new movie, Melancholia , has been released and it looks very, very promising for fans of Kirsten Dunst , who was recently skinitiated into the world of nude acting with her topless scene in All Good Things. Melancholia stars Dunst as a reluctant bride celebrating her marriage at the home of her sister ( Charlotte Gainsbourg ). Threatening the happy day is a mysterious red star, which is rapidly headed towards the earth. Melancholia is being billed as a “psychological disaster movie,” and is being released in the UK on July 1. (The film has been picked up for distribution in the US, but doesn’t have a firm release date yet.) If the trailer is any skindication, Melancholia won’t leave you blue on the nudity front. 1 minute and 14 seconds in, we get a faraway flash of full frontal nudity; we’re not sure if it’s Kirsten’s keyster, but it certainly is a fully nude blonde woman! Then at 1 minute, 39 seconds, we get a pendulous side boob that is most certainly Kristen’s as she bends nude over a bathtub. And this is just the trailer! The world wasn’t ready for screenwriter Joe Eszterhas ‘ last major skinema sinsation, Showgirls , when it debuted in 1995- though we absolutely love the movie here at Skin Central, we can’t deny that it pretty much killed Eszterhas’ Hollywood career. Now the randy writer of Mr. Skin Nudity Hall of Fame films like Basic Instinct and Jade is mounting a comeback with his new script, the titillatingly titled Lust . Lust centers on a beautiful 30-year-old woman married to a much older fashion magazine publisher. On a business trip to Los Angeles, our heroine meets a much younger playboy who makes her forget all about those pesky marriage vows… Hollywood has seen a huge decline in R-rated erotic thrillers since Eszterhas’ heyday in the early 90’s, leaving a gaping, PG-13 hole where the bush of A-list actresses like Sharon Stone should be. So when Eszterhas and The Lincoln Lawyer producer Scott Steindorff go to the Cannes Film Festival next month to shop around their script, we’re really hoping someone in Tinseltown will bite. Because with a name like Lust, it’s got to be nude! More details of the upcoming boob/blood bath Piranha 3DD have been released, and like fish hypnotized by a shiny, shiny lure, we’re biting here at Skin Central. Last week it was revealed that the film will take place in a wet n’ wild waterpark , and now we’ve received a character list describing the carnivorous chumps’ main adversaries. Start assembling your fantasy cast now: MADDY: Piranha 3DD’ s equivalent of Piranha 3D ‘s Elisabeth Shue . Maddy is a smart marine biology student home for the summer to help her redneck dad run the waterpark. She’s not very popular with the locals, probably because she’s smart. Maddy is also the first to discover the piranhas in the waterpark, because she’s- once again- smart. Boob factor (scale of 1-10): 3 ASHLEY: The queen bitch and loosest slot in the Piranha 3DD casino. In one scene, she handcuffs her man for some playtime in a van; when the van begins to move and ends up in the water, she leaves him behind to drown because she can’t find the keys. Boob Factor: 11 SHELBY: Ashley’s demure sister and a wannabe tart. She tricks a local boy into deflowering her in a scene almost certain to come right before their fishy demise. Boob Factor: 8 There will be some male characters in Piranha 3DD too, like Maddy’s dorky friend and the sleazy local sheriff, but their boob factors are zero, so who cares? Piranha 3DD to Feature Boobs on a Waterslide

That’s right, the location for the sequel to Mr. Skin’s Breast Picture of 2010, Piranha 3D, the breastacularly titled Piranha 3DD , has been revealed. The film will take place in a water park named “Wilderness Waters” that is overrun with the feisty little flesh-strippers. If Piranha 3DD is anything like its predecessor (and considering the writers and director of Piranha 3D are all returning, it will be) before the mayhem and carnage there will be flesh-stripping of an entirely different sort as bikini babes get nude for some wet n’ wild fun. Filming for Piranha 3DD is set to begin in North Carolina at the end of May. It’s going to be a bikini bash to die for, and Mr. Skin can hard ly wait!
