Following last year’s successful transition away from the High School Musical franchise (with 17 Again ), Zac Efron takes another step forward in his adult movie career this summer. The young heatthrob stars as the title character in Charlie St. Cloud , a drama based on a popular 2004 novel. Amanda Crew, Kim Basinger and Ray Liotta also star in the movie, which hits theaters on July 30. Extended Sex and the City 2 Trailer: Miley Cyrus Sighting!

Sex and the City was a wonderful, successful series on HBO. It filled an important niche and made viewers both laugh and cry for several season. It also ended perfectly, with Carrie in the arms of her dream man, Mr. Big. The Sexy and the City movie, conversely? Utterly pointless. Nothing happened, aside from contrived drama between Carrie and Big that cheapened the conclusion of the show. Still, the movie made gobs of money at the box office, which made a sequel inevitable. It comes out on May 27 and the studio has released the first extended trailer for Sex and the City 2 . You’ll never believe this, but it features more double entendres than golf announcers could utter at Tiger Woods (Example: Carrie asks Samantha how she can swallow so many pills. Her witty response? “Have you met me?”), along with more contrived drama between Carrie and Big, this time involving Aidan Shaw. Check out the preview now, but don’t blink or you’ll miss the cameo by Miley Cyrus near the end of it: Sex and the City Sequel Trailer
