The former is content to just let her work do the talking. “It’s not really something that I worry about because I feel like everybody’s kind of got their own path,” Jen told the BBC, without naming names. “They have their own way of finding themselves and for some people that’s how they feel best, that’s how they feel sexy, that’s how they want to perform.” “I am just saying to each their own,” Lawrence added diplomatically, when the interviewer mentioned Miley Cyrus twerking , dwarves and so forth. Jen, who attended the Catching Fire premiere with Miley’s ex-fiancee Liam Hemsworth, her co-star in The Hunger Games trilogy, is very self-aware, however. She says she makes “conscious decisions” to be a role model. “Growing up I didn’t have a female hero the way that Katniss is,” she said of her movie character. “I think she’s a wonderful role model for young girls.” “I’m just really happy that they have a character like that.” Not exactly fightin’ words from a true class act, and a woman whose talent matches her maturity.
