For your listening pleasure… Toya Wright Talks Her New Book & Relationships On the latest episode of “Don’t Be Scared” David, Danni and Jah chat with Toya Wright about a number of topics including those alleged 8 hall passes she gave to her estranged husband. Additionally Toya dished on her new book “How To Lose A Husband” which many people, including K. Michelle , thought was about her personal life. According to Toya however it’s a fiction book based on real life experiences: They thought it was about my husband and I was teaching people step by step how to lose a husband. I chose that title because I knew it would get people’s attention. […] Honestly it’s not about teaching you how to lose a husband, it’s a play on words. Negativity seems to go further than positivity. It’s a novel, it’s a fiction book. It’s based on real life experiences and everyday life. If you can’t identify with the characters in this book then you know somebody who can. 28:10 She adds however that she is in the book… A part of me is in the book, you would have to read it to find out [which character]. and some of her friends are in it too. I have girlfriends who go through things and I share things with my girlfriends. That’s what really, really inspired me. [..] I do have this one friend that swears up and down that this one character is her. And it’s crazy because I wouldn’t want to be that character and I would not anyone to think that that’s me or my life and she’s telling everybody. Toya also spoke candidly on her dating life and revealed that she NEVER wants to date a rapper again…. I don’t want a rapper anymore, my daughter’s father [Lil Wayne] is my friend, people always think we’re dating when they see us out together. We just cool, we gon’ always be cool. I have such a huge respect for him that I would never date another rapper. Not only because of the respect I have for him but because I don’t like dating rappers. It’s just too much that comes along with that lifestyle. I would rather just a nice guy that’s about his business kinda behind the scenes. 37:20 and confirmed that she and Memphitz are still separated. I am currently separated and don’t get me wrong. My husband, we had a good relationship, he’s a great man.
