Pusha T And Kelly Rowland Confirms They Are Not Dating Via Rumor Fix reports: Kelly Rowland’s fans were taken aback over the weekend when the “Kisses Down Low” singer posted a picture of her and rapper Pusha T partying at Atlanta’s Privé nightclub with the caption, “I love you baby! #streetlife @kingpush.” Kelly and Pusha, who is signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music label, have a song called “Street Life” on Kelly’s latest album Talk a Good Game, but did the duo’s musical collaboration spark a romance? To answer that question, RumorFix did a little digging and discovered Pusha is still involved with his longtime girlfriend, Virginia Williams (aka Ginny). Though best bud Kanye West wasn’t home at the time (the rapper is currently in Milan, Italy), both Jay and Bey spent the morning with Kardashian, 32, who has not been seen out in public since giving birth to her tiny bundle of joy on June 15. But though both the Magna Carter Holy Grail rapper and his wife have reportedly visited the tot already, their 18-month-old daughter Blue Ivy wasn’t in tow for the weekend get-together. Jay Z was later spotted grabbing a meal at trendy sushi spot Gjelina in Venice Beach, Calif. BOSSIP talked to Tristan “Mack” Wilds about his brand new r&b/hip-hop album due out this Fall and how the Staten Island kid made the move from the projects to Hollywood. Check out our exclusive interview when you continue. BOSSIP: Happy Belated Birthday [Wilds turned 24 on July 15th]! Did you get into any trouble? Mack Wilds: I definitely did. Nothing I’m willing to go on the record about. Let’s just say it was a good night. That’s good. Well, congratulations on your new album. It’s called New York: A Love Story . How did you decide on that title? We had a bunch of different titles. We had a bunch of different names, and thoughts and ideas. But it really just turned into what it sounds like. It sounded like New York and it sounded like a love story, so it really just kind of gave itself that name. We just let everybody know. Now when you guys initially started working on the project, whose idea was it to use these classic beats? Mobb Deep fans, Wu-Tang fans and Nas fans should all be super excited about some of these beats. Yes. It was a mix of both our ideas and thoughts. Salaam [Remi] came to the table and first it was moreso like a test, he wanted to see what I could do with certain songs. I think the first song I recorded was “Own It.” And he just wanted to see what I could do with that, and we did it. Then we just started talking about different beats we wanted to try and it was a real moment, us just trying to figure out different things we could flip around like “Yo, what if we flip this beat like this?” or “Yo, what if we just pull this from this and did that? Yo, that would be crazy.” I think one of the first beats that we flipped was “Hennesy” with the Mobb Deep sample. And it just really came together. He played it for Havoc, Havoc loved it, gave him the original beat for it. Havoc twisted it, fixed it up. It was dope. It really just came together from there. Some of your fans were probably a little confused with the name change. So why did you decide to come out as Mack Wilds instead of Tristan? I feel like a lot of people know me from different characters that I’ve played; The Wire or 90210, whatever. But I really wanted to bring people into my life with this music, especially because it’s going to be so personal. And my family name is Mack. So, because my family calls me Mack, and they call me Mack in my neighborhood, I might as well have everyone else call me that as well. So you feel like, in terms of your passion, you’re more of a musician than you are an actor? I would say that I was, music being my first love. Looks like homophobia is running violently rampant in Mother Russia… Via NYPost reports : Neo-Nazis and ultranationalists are luring gay Russians teens to “dates” where they are then bullied and tortured while being recorded on video, according to reports. The mastermind behind the nationwide coordinated assaults is an infamous neo-Nazi named Maxim Martsinkevich who is the leader of an ultra-violent right-wing group based in Moscow called Format18. Martsinkevich’s newest campaign purports to stamp out pedophiles by posting same-sex personal ads on VK.com, the Russian equivalent of Facebook, according to the Huffington Post. Followers of Martsinkevich’s anti-pedophile campaign have organized themselves into two distinct groups — “Occupy Pedophilyaj” and “Occupy Gerontilyaj” — but they have only ever attacked male teenagers responding to the personal ads. “Video recordings of bullying and tortures are freely distributed on the Internet in order to out LGBT teens to their respective schools, parents and friends. Many victims were driven to suicides, the rest are deeply traumatized,” said Spectrum Human Rights Alliance (SHRA), an LGBT rights group that focuses on Eastern Europe. “These self-proclaimed ‘crime fighters’ perform their actions under the broad day light, often outside and clearly visible to general public that indifferently passes by or even commend them.” In one of the relatively tame examples of the attacks posted on YouTube, a 15-year-old teen is lured to a date with an older man supposedly named “Uncle Dima” when a group of alleged neo-Nazis confront him. The bullies start by taking the teen to a bench and interrogating him where the teen admits that he is there to have sex, possibly for money. The group mocks him but the teen seems to think he is safe, giving his interrogators his name, where is from, what school he goes to and his age. But things start to turn dark as a figure steps out of frame to seemingly fill a bottle with urine. Someone then pours the contents of the bottle over the teen’s head before another alleged Nazi kicks him. The video then cuts off. To watch the graphic video click here . “We do not like homosexuals,” an Occupy Pedophilyaj member told Russian online newspaper Lenta. “I think practically all gay men — pedophiles. Once you’ve crossed over once, you can cross over again. Today he likes boys, and then it’ll be children. They’re not suitable for life in society.” The actions of groups like Occupy Pedophiyaj and Occupy Gerontilyaj come in the wake of two laws signed into law by President Vladimir Putin, which drastically restrict gay rights. One, signed on July 3, bans adoption by same-sex foreign couples whose homeland recognizes their union as marriage, as well as by single people or unmarried couples from those countries. A Kremlin statement said the measure is intended to guarantee children a “harmonious” upbringing and protect them from “complexes, emotional suffering and stress.” The second bill, signed into law on June 30, bans the “promotion” of “non-traditional sexual relations” towards children. Authorities have interpreted the law to mean that public displays of affection between same sex couples are illegal and it also includes a provision allowing “pro-gay” foreigners to be arrested and detained for up to 14 days. This latter provision was invoked in July when four Dutch LGBT right advocates were arrested at a summer camp, according to the Washington Blade. Although the two bills strictly limit gay rights in Russia, Putin claims that the laws are not discrimination and are instead “about protecting children from such information.” Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov echoed Putin’s claims while defending the laws which ban what he calls “homosexual propaganda.” “We don’t have a single international or common European commitment to allow propaganda of homosexuality,” he said. Jay Z Responds To Harry Belafonte Harry Belafonte recently lashed out at superstar couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé and other black stars about not using their fame and fortune to aid the greater good of the community and spark social change. Jay Z finally responded in an interview with Rap Radar and says his presence enough is charity because it inspires black boys: “I’m offended by that because first of all, and this is going to sound arrogant, but my presence is charity. Just who I am. Just like Obama’s is. Obama provides hope. Whether he does anything, the hope that he provides for a nation, and outside of America is enough. Just being who he is. You’re the first black president. If he speaks on any issue or anything he should be left alone…I felt Belafonte he just went about it wrong. Like the way he did it in the media, and then he big’d up Bruce Springsteen or somebody. And it was like, “whoa,” you just sent the wrong message all the way around…Bruce Springsteen is a great guy. You’re this Civil Rights activist and you just big’d up the white guy against me in the white media. And I’m not saying that in a racial way. I’m just saying what it is. The fact of what it was. And that was just the wrong way to go about it.” Harry Belafonte has responded to Hov’s comments and says his intial comments were never meant to hurt or disrespect the couple… “I would be hard pressed to tell Mr. Jay Z what to do with this time and his fortune. All I can be critical is of what he is not doing. This conflict that is emerging was not from me as a direct attack on Jay Z or Beyonce. I was at a press conference in Switzerland. Questions were raised by the international press. They asked about the artists and the social engagement of the past based on a film we were watching…and how artists responded earlier in my life and how they responded today. “And I made the observation that the highly powerful voice that our community has – Black America has – there is so much celebrity power that it was sad to see that the collective of the celebrity power had not been applied to bring consciousness to the inequities that we face. “Artist that heard that responded in a very strong way. You’ll find that Jamie Foxx, you’ll find Chuck D [of Public Enemy]…you find that any number of highly profiled people have taken that critique and called for [a meeting]. We’ve sat. We’ve talked. And I will tell you now that these people that I’ve just mentioned are officially behind Dream Defenders. They are prepared to come down. They are prepared to perform. I would hope that Jay Z would not take personally what was said because it was not said about him personally.” Belafonte says he would rather talk in private: “Having said that, I would like to say to Jay Z, to Beyonce: My heart is wide open and filled with nothing but hope and the promise that we can sit and have a one-on-one.
