Legendary ringside announcer “Mean” Gene Okerlund has passed away at age 76. WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Gene Okerlund, the most recognizable interviewer in sports-entertainment history, has passed away at age 76. https://t.co/DyPiEiVLoV — WWE (@WWE) January 2, 2019 In his early days, “Mean Gene”, as he was named by fellow Minnesotan, Jesse “The Body” Ventura first came to prominence by interviewing the greatest stars of the AWA, including Ventura, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan and Hulk Hogan. In 1984, Okerlund made the move to WWE where he became a staple on national cable television by continuing to interview the biggest names in sports-entertainment like Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior and many more. Okerlund branched out from interviewing by providing ringside commentary and hosting several shows, including All-American Wrestling, Tuesday Night Titans, Wrestling Challenge and Prime Time Wrestling. Announcing wasn’t all that Okerlund could do with a microphone, as his distinct voice sung the National Anthem at the first WrestleMania in 1985. Later that year, Okerlund would sing “Tutti Frutti” on WWE’s The Wrestling Album. Eva Marcille Responds To Marlo Hampton’s Weight Loss Shade Eva Marcille is responding to the messiness Marlo Hampton once again spread on “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta.” The newest peach holder was seen wedding dress shopping on Sunday’s episode but things went awry when NeNe showed up with Marlo Hampton in tow. While Eva wanted “whimsical” wedding gowns, Marlo insisted that Eva go for something more “couture.” Not only that, she shadily told Eva that she should drop ten pounds before her big day. “I need one little small request. I just want 10 pounds off,” said Marlo. Luckily Eva’s friend NeNe was on hand and she shut Marlo and her “big a**” ALL the way down. “B***h you need to f**king stop with your big a** eating cake, ice cream, sandwiches, going to the gas station for potato chips, lollipops,” said NeNe. Eva then thanked her for taking up for her. “NeNe is my girl,” said Eva who added that she already dropped 30 pounds after having a baby.”I appreciate her coming to my defense. Thank you NeNe for reminding Marlo the circumference of her a** is huge,” she added. Eva’s since slammed Marlo again in an RHOA after show and added that Marlo could use an Atkins or Keto diet herself. “”I was smaller than Marlo at my heaviest than Marlo was at her smallest,” said Eva. “The circumference of her a** is the size of this table.” 3:48 Sit down Marlo! The RHOA star and Dennis McKinley spent Christmas in Nassau, Bahamas at the Baha Mar Casino & Hotel and while there Porsha had a full photoshoot in a bikini. She also apparently has more maternity photos coming including pictures in custom gowns designed by Theodore Elyett and Claude Lavie Kameni, respectively. In addition to the bikini photos, Porsha also got some payback on RHOA fans who were appalled by a dirty little secret she shared on TV. On one of the first episodes of season 11, Porsha berated Dennis about using his toothbrush because she left her toothbrush behind at home. According to Porsha, she uses Dennis toothbrush ” every day” so them sharing it wasn’t a big deal. Fast forward to Porsha’s babymoon and the reality star posted a video of Dennis clearing using HER toothbrush although he previously acted appalled that she wanted to use his.
