NASA Official Found Dead According to Mail Online A retired NASA official who served on the Apollo Navigation Team has been found dead with a rope around his neck and genitals inside a home in Thailand, it emerged today. Police found the body of Paul Milford Muller, 76, on Tuesday in the Tak Province of the country and suspect he had been dead for about three days. There were no signs that Muller, 76, had been assaulted, according to the Bangkok Post. He appeared to have died from asphyxiation or from a heart attack after a drug overdose, police said. His body has been sent for an autopsy while officials try to contact his family. Muller worked for ten years at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology, and served on the Apollo Navigation Team. He wrote three books, including one called Suicide Inc., which he described as a ‘romantic and erotic thriller’. On the cover of the novel is a picture of a noose. He grew up in Los Angeles and had a PhD in Physics/Astronomy. Muller had recently joined Twitter and last posted on April 19. On his bio on his website he states: ‘I write for personal enjoyment and work diligently to share with others. I respect readers and accept that you are the true judges of what we do. ‘I live alone in the highlands of Thailand, but have many interesting Thai friends.’ According to his publishing company’s website, Muller was single, and ‘lived with a mature family with whom he had a relationship for some years, in a modern home in the Thai style that he built on the outskirts of a farming village near Nakhon Sawan’. Kyle Dube was indicted Wednesday on charges of murder and kidnapping in the death of 15-year-old Nichole Cable, whose body was found in a wooded area of Old Town this month a week after she went missing. Dube, of Orono, had intended to kidnap and hide Nichole and later find her and “be the hero,” the affidavit said. But she died in the back of his pickup truck after he duct-taped her while wearing a ski mask, it said. Dube’s lawyer had wanted the affidavit to stay impounded, citing concerns over his right to a fair trial. The Associated Press and the Portland Press Herald had fought to unseal it. Lawyer Sigmund Schutz, representing the AP and the Portland Press Herald, had argued that the affidavit explaining why the 20-year-old Dube was charged in Nichole’s death should be made public on First Amendment grounds. According to Raw Story: French police were on Sunday questioning a 48-year-old divorced Briton arrested on suspicion of slitting the throats of his two young children, judicial officials said. The bodies of the two children aged five and 10 were discovered on Saturday afternoon in his apartment in Saint-Priest, a southeastern suburb of the central city of Lyon. He was arrested and placed in custody in the evening. A judicial source said a knife which is thought to have been the murder weapon had been found. The source said the man had visitation rights but only in the presence of another person, adding that this was the first time he brought the children home to his apartment. Several witnesses said the man fled on roller skates after his former wife encountered him on the stairwell of the building and saw him with bloodstained clothes. She immediately alerted the police. Ahmed Benguedda, a former neighbour of the couple, told AFP the couple had divorced “two or three years ago” and that the man had drinking problems and was a wife beater. The wife moved out of the apartment after the divorce and was living in the Isere region of eastern France. He was arrested last night in Philadelphia and charged with homicide. McGillvary, 24, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. at the Greyhound Bus Terminal and charged in the murder last Sunday of Joseph Galfy Jr., officials confirm. Galfy, 73, an attorney, was found dead in his Clark, N.J., home on Monday. The cause of death was blunt-force trauma, and the prime suspect is Kai. McGillvary claimed on Facebook Tuesday that he woke up “in a stranger’s house” and had been drugged and raped, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. “I believe everyone is a little safer with this person off the streets,” prosecutor Theodore J. Romankow said in a statement after the arrest was made. McGillvary reportedly cut his famous long hair and got a face tattoo in recent days, apparently in an effort to avoid detection, according to law enforcement. Kai the Hitchhiker, the oddball who gained online fame this year following a random act of heroism and a tremendous local TV interview, is wanted for murder. Union County law enforcement has issued a warrant for him for the murder of Joseph Galfy, Jr., in Clark, N.J., the Union County Prosecutor’s Office says. Galfy was reportedly found dead inside his home on May 13. Kai the Hitchhiker Interview The cause of death has been declared as blunt force trauma. Police say Kai (Caleb Lawrence McGillvary) is considered armed and dangerous. Kai is said to have cut his hair to conceal his identity , and was last seen at a rail station near Haddonfield, N.J. He is officially a murder suspect. Back in February, McGillvary, a.k.a. Kai, was passing through Fresno, Calif., when he stumbled into an alarming situation – and quasi-celeb status. Kai saw a man attack a utility worker with a car and assault a woman at a gas station, after which he hit the man with a hatchet to stop the attack. His interview shortly thereafter (above) was a viral sensation. Basically, he was Charles Ramsey before Charles Ramsey, but Antoine Dodson was Kai before Kai was Kai. Okay, that made absolutely no sense. Anyway, Kai videos have been viewed millions of times, making the apparent dark turn in McGillvary’s once-great story all the more shocking. Thank God they took out the first Boston Bomber suspect Boston Bomb Suspect Eyed in 2011 Murders According to ABC News In the wake of the revelations about the violent nature of accused marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, investigators in the Boston suburbs tell ABC News they are probing whether he may have been involved in an unsolved grisly triple homicide of a former roommate and two others. The murders took place around the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks. “We are looking at a possible connection with the suspect in the marathon atrocity and this active and open homicide in Waltham,” Stephanie Guyotte, a spokeswoman for the Middlesex County District Attorney, confirmed to ABC News. Tsarnaev, the alleged bombing mastermind who died in a fierce gun battle with police early Friday morning, had been training with one of the 2011 murder victims in an attempt to transition from boxing into a possible career in the brutal sport of mixed-martial arts. The victims were found in a Waltham, Massachusetts apartment. They had their throat slashed, their heads nearly decapitated. Their mutilated bodies were left covered with kush. It was a gruesome scene – but also perplexing to law enforcement. While drugs appeared to factor into the motive, the murderer left both the kush and thousands of dollars in cash behind in the Waltham apartment. While the investigation has been active for more than a year, authorities acknowledged they have had few leads. Two law enforcement sources told ABC News that may now change, with the bomb attack prompting a fresh look into Tsarnaev’s alleged penchant for violence. Even before the bombing, police records show, there was an indication of a rage growing inside of Tsarnaev. Court documents obtained by ABC News show in July 2009 he was arrested for domestic violence after his then-girlfriend made a frantic 911 to report she was “being beat up by her boyfriend.” The police report, which was redacted to hide the girlfriend’s name, says that Tsarnaev admitted to responding officers that he slapped her. The case was later dismissed. Tsarnaev had also been close to one of the murder victims, 25-year-old Brendan Mess, investigators told ABC. The two had been training together in a local gym –each helping the other with a missing element from their fighting arsenal. Tsarnaev, a golden-gloves heavy weight boxer, lacked martial arts training. And Mess, an experienced jiu jitsu competitor, lacked boxing experience. The two sparred together at an Allston, MA gym called Wai Kru. The gym’s head trainer, John Allan, provided a statement to the Boston Globe via Facebook message saying that Tamerlan “came into the gym to spar from time to time.” It was unclear if Tsarnaev knew the other men slain, Raphael Teken, 37, and Eric Weissman, 31. A Waltham investigator who called the murders “the worst bloodbath I have ever seen in a long law enforcement career” said Tsarnaev has now proven he had the propensity for the type of violence that unfolded two years ago. “There was no forced entry, it was clear that the victims had let the killer in. And their throats were slashed right out of an al Qaeda training video. The drugs and money on the bodies was very strange,” the investigator said. One of Mess’ relatives yesterday told investigators they thought it was odd that Tsarnaev did not attend the funerals for his slain friend. The Mess relative also described animosity between the two friends “over Brendan’s lifestyle,” two law enforcement sources said. Because it is an open homicide investigation the sources were not authorized to speak on the record. “Given how religious the older brother was, and we have heard information from the college about how the younger brother was ‘a drug head’ is there a chance that Tsarnaev was angry that Brendan was selling his brother drugs?
