Tupac Biopic Gains Oscar-Winning Screenwriters

Stephen J. Rivele and Chris Wilkinson have signed on to write script about Death Row superstar’s final years. By Jayson Rodriguez Tupac Shakur Photo: Steve Granitz/ Wireimage Antoine Fuqua’s forthcoming Tupac Shakur biopic will soon have a script: Two Oscar-nominated writers, Stephen J. Rivele and Chris Wilkinson, have been tapped to write the screenplay. The scribes, whose writing credits include “Nixon” and “Ali,” told New York magazine that the film will focus on the late rapper’s final day, with flashbacks of the preceding four years of his life interspersed throughout. Rivele added that the script centers on their perception that Shakur was miscast in the hip-hop world in which he found himself. “It became clear that he was essentially a 19th-century Romantic poet who found himself in the 21st century,” he explained. “He was a really sensitive, very romantic, talented young poet who also could sing, dance, and act. But the realities [of the hip-hop music business] were that he had to create this persona of the gangster.” The film is tentatively slated to begin production later this year, according to the magazine. Fuqua has previously said he hopes to find a newcomer to play Tupac . “I want to go to the streets and find him anywhere he might be in the world,” the director said. In addition to a fresh face, filmmakers intend to offer a new take on the life of the fallen rap star, who was murdered in 1996. Rivele explained that the movie won’t aim to resolve who murdered Shakur, but rather focus on who he was and the person he attempted to be. The movie will push a thesis slanted more toward asking why anyone would have wanted to kill the talented superstar. “He was obviously very angry, and had been subjected to a great deal of violence at home, in the streets and in prison,” Rivele said. “But he was just beginning to shed that anger and look for a purer voice. … He was in the process of changing himself and entering a new phase of his life — essentially a Romantic vision — and had set up a new label and a new production company to create it. He saw the contradiction between the musical persona of ‘Thug Life,’ and his essential nature as a gentle, sensitive person. And that was partly responsible for his murder: He was not a gangster, but the people around him were. They saw he was going to leave, that they were going to lose him, and so I think they decided to kill him.” Who would you cast to play Tupac in a biopic? Sotomayor Says Court May Rule to Limit First Amendment in Response to Wikileaks

On Thursday, talking to students at the University of Denver, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor said the Wikileaks case will result in the Court likely weighing the First Amendment against national security. She made the comment in response to a question posed by a student. That was not the beginning of that question, but an issue that keeps arising from generation to generation, of how far we will permit government restriction on freedom of speech in favor of protection of the country,” Sotomayor said. “There’s no black-and-white line.” According to Sotomayor, the balance between national security and free speech is “a constant struggle in this society, between our security needs and our first amendment rights, and one that has existed throughout our history.” Following the release of over 90,000 documents by Wikileaks in July, the Pentagon found no evidence that the disclosure harmed U.S. national security or endangered American troops in the field. The Pentagon review team consists of military intelligence analysts, lawyers and others working for the Joint Chiefs of Staffs and other elements of the Defense Department. The Obama administration and certain members of Congress, however, have portrayed the release as a dire threat to national security. Obama asked Britain, Germany, Australia, and other allies to consider criminal charges against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said the organization is guilty of “moral culpability” in the murder of U.S. soldiers. The ranking Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Peter King, said the release of documents violates espionage laws and amounts to treason. The FBI is investigating and the Justice Department said it was looking into pursuing criminal charges in the case. Rep. Mike Rogers, a Michigan Republican, has demanded the death penalty for SPC Bradley Manning, the man arrested and charged with providing the documents to Wikileaks…. British Spy and Top Code Breaker Found Dead in MI6 London Safe House

Gareth Williams, a Welshman from Anglesey was one of Britain's top Code Breakers worked the ” GCHQ listening center” in the West Country. He had been living in an apartment probably owned by MI5 which is nearby. The Pimlico area of London is near to the MI6 HQ and there are many “safe houses” for use. Williams was a single man was discovered in a large sports bag in his bath. A laptop he used is missing. Williams was also a regular visitor to the NSA “Puzzle Palace” another listening and spy center. The CIA are so concerned about his death they are holding their own investigation. Williams was single but porn, bondage mags and women's clothes his size were also found at the “safe house” apartment. MI6 and other spy agencies are refusing to let the police interview any of his fellow workers, stating they are suddenly out of the country. This story has all the hallmarks of a Hollywood Spy Thriller…………… from the Daily Mail The CIA was called in to help investigate the murder of an MI6 spy last night as it emerged he was sent on frequent secret missions to the United States. American intelligence officers are poring over every detail of Gareth Williams's work and personal life to see if the circumstances of his death endangered U.S. national security. The Daily Mail can reveal that the 31-year-old codebreaker flew to the National Security Agency, the Pentagon's listening post and the largest intelligence agency in the world, up to four times a year. He returned from his last trip to America only a few weeks before he was found dead. Questions also remain over why his body lay undiscovered for up to a fortnight at his

JFK Assassination Cover-Up Blown Sky High

It is a story the corporate media, with the notable exception of one lone Fox News affiliate, refuses to report. A former FBI agent, Don Adams, has compelling evidence Lee Harvey Oswald did not assassinate president John F. Kennedy. Adams was assigned to an FBI office in Thomasville, Georgia, on November 22, 1963. Adams was responsible for investigating Joseph Adams Milteer, described as a radical with connections to the States Rights Party and KKK. Milteer, according to Adams, was involved in Kennedy’s assassination. As revealed by the Church Committee in the mid-70s and according to internal FBI documents the agency controlled the Ku Klux Klan and other white supremacists beginning in the 1960s. More recently, it was revealed that racist radio talk show host Hal Turner operated as a “national security intelligence” asset for the FBI, thus demonstrating the agency still has its hooks in the lunatic fringe movement. The racist Milteer “was reportedly one of most violent men in the country,” Adams told Fox 8 News. Years later, Adams discovered that Milteer had threatened to kill Kennedy on November 9, 1963, and the FBI had lied about Milteer whereabouts. In order to make his case, Adams played an audio recording of Milteer for Fox News. In the recording, Milteer tells an informant the best way to get the president “is from an office building with a high powered rifle.” Asked if he was sincere about a plot of kill Kennedy, Milteer responded: “Oh yes. It’s in the works.” Despite the threat and possibility of a conspiracy to assassinate the president, the FBI and Secret Service allowed Kennedy to travel to Dallas. “[They] should have stopped the President from traveling instantly,” said Adams. “You thought I was kidding when I said he would be killed from a window with a high powered rifle,” a “jubilant” Milteer” told the informant following the murder. Adams points out that Milteer was in Dallas on the day of the assassination and has a photograph to prove it. In the photo, Milteer stands near the presidential limousine prior to the shooting. Adams notes this fact was not mentioned in the Warren Commission report. Other, more well-known personages were also photographed in Dealy Plaza on that fateful day, in particular George Bush Senior. The future CIA director and president was photographed standing outside the Texas Book Depository building where it was said Oswald single-handedly shot the president from the sixth floor. Gerald Ford appointed Bush to head-up the agency when the House Select Committee on Assassinations was investigating CIA-FBI links to the murders of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy. During Gerald Ford’s funeral in 2007, the elder Bush attacked theories straying from the official version. “After a deluded gunman assassinated President Kennedy, our nation turned to Gerald Ford and a select handful of others to make sense of that madness,” said Bush. “And the conspiracy theorists can say what they will, but the Warren Commission report will always have the final definitive say on this tragic matter. Why? Because Jerry Ford put his name on it and Jerry Ford’s word was always good.” After Adams told the FBI he believed it was impossible for Oswald to have fired three shots with a bolt-action rifle in seven-and-a-half seconds while taking aim through a scope, he was warned by his superiors not to pursue his findings. “Don, be careful what you say and how you say it,” an agent told him. Mr. Adams’ assertions contribute to a huge body of evidence revealing that Kennedy was not murdered by Oswald in the fashion described by the government. In 2007, a study conducted by a former FBI scientist put to rest the Oswald-as-lone-gunman theory. William A. Tobin, a former FBI lab metallurgist, and colleagues published a study the Annals of Applied Statistics demonstrating that at least one other shooter was involved in the assassination. Also in 2007, former CIA agent and Watergate conspirator E. Howard Hunt admitted in an audio recording that he was approached to be part of a CIA assassination team to kill JFK. The tape was released by the late Hunt’s son, Saint John Hunt, and aired on the Coast to Coast radio show in April, 2007. “E. Howard Hunt names numerous individuals with both direct and indirect CIA connections as having played a role in the assassination of Kennedy, while describing himself as a ‘bench warmer’ in the plot. Saint John Hunt agreed that the use of this term indicates that Hunt was willing to play a larger role in the murder conspiracy had he been required,” writes Paul Joseph Watson. uite predictably, the corporate media all but ignored Hunt’s revelations and continues to peddle the ludicrous theory that Oswald was alone responsible for the assassination. Saint John Hunt said that his father indeed resembled one of three “bums” arrested and photographed in Dealy Plaza following the assassination. The elder Hunt told his son he was “deeply conflicted and deeply remorseful” that he didn’t blow the whistle on the plot at the time and prevent the assassination. At the time Kennedy was hated by many government officials, especially officials at the CIA. Following the disastrous Bay of Pigs operation and his failure to support military action in Cuba, Kennedy had promised to “shatter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter the remnants to the wind.” Kennedy’s enemies in the CIA and the FBI are well documented. He fired the Chief Executive of the CIA, Charles Cabell, and among his enemies were Richard Helms, former CIA director Allen Dulles, and Gerald Ford, who would later become the default president of the United States. Ford, who was a member of the Warren Commission, implicated the CIA in a cover-up of the assassination from his deathbed, according to a publisher of a book on the subject. In May of 2007, Saint John Hunt went on the Alex Jones Show and revealed that his father would have “finish[ed] the job” and killed Teddy Kennedy. “In the context that JFK had already been removed, RFK was gone and his motto was ‘let’s finish the job,’” Hunt told Jones. He said his father was pleased when Robert Kennedy was assassinated. In 2008, the BBC aired a documentary offering evidence that the CIA was responsible for Robert Kennedy’s assassination. Three men were positively identified as senior officers who worked together in 1963 at JMWAVE, the CIA’s Miami base for its Secret War on Castro. “I was in Dallas when we got the son of a bitch and I was in Los Angeles when we got the little bastard,” David Sanchez Morales, aka “El Indio,” who was involved in CIA efforts against Castro and the CIA’s 1954 overthrow of the Guatemalan government, reportedly bragged after the RFK assassination. In his audio confession, the late E. Howard Hunt said Morales and Lyndon Johnson were involved in the plot to kill JFK. Hunt said the code name for the assassination operation was “The Big Event.” Johnson’s former mistress, Madeleine Duncan Brown, told author Robert Gaylon Ross prior to her death in 2002 that Johnson was involved in the murder, a plot that had its origins in the 1960 Democratic Convention, where John F. Kennedy was elected as presidential candidate with Johnson as his running mate. Johnson, according to Brown, colluded with oil tycoon H. L. Hunt to have Kennedy eliminated. “It was a total political crime and H.L. Hunt really controlled what actually happened to John Kennedy — he and Lyndon Johnson,” said Brown. “It was a political crime for political power.” Johnson had allegedly said on the night before the assassination: “Those SOBs will never embarrass me again.” added by: im1mjrpain

George Stephanopoulos Touts Obama’s Liberal Achievements: ‘What More Could the President Have Done?’

Good Morning America’s George Stephanopoulos on Thursday interviewed liberal Congressman Dennis Kucinich and defended Barack Obama’s left-wing achievements. Stephanopoulos touted, ” Congressman, what more could the President have done? You’ve got this almost $800 million stimulus bill. You’ve got a financial reform package .” [MP3 audio here .] The GMA host was trying to make peace between Obama and those who had been derided by White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs as the “professional left.” The former Democratic operative turned journalist trumpeted, “[Obama] did something that…no Democratic president in 50 years has been able to do, lay the groundwork for universal, national health care. That is quite a legislative record, isn’t it?” This isn’t the first time co-host has attempted to mediate a dispute between liberals. On March 13, 2010 , Stephanopoulos lobbied wavering Democrat Bart Stupak to support the health care bill. Using similar language, he cajoled, “What more do you need?” Stephanopoulos also pressed, “Did he say anything to change your mind that could move you from no to yes?” A transcript of the August 12 segment, which aired at 7:08am EDT, follows: GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS: For more on this, let’s go down to Washington. Congressman Dennis Kucinich called out there by Robert Gibbs, joins us this morning. He, of course, ran for president the last two around, I believe. So, Congressman, how did you take Mr. Gibbs’ comments? An insult? REP. DENNIS KUCINICH: No. I think that Mr. Gibbs and the White House needs to realize that liberals support the President, but there’s still- the criticism is really a measure of the hopes that have not been realized. And I don’t think they ought to take it in the manner in which Gibbs, and apparently, the rest of the White House does take the criticism. STEPHANOPOULOS: Congressman, what more could the President have done? You’ve got this almost $800 million stimulus bill. You’ve got a financial reform package. He did something that no president in- no Democratic president in 50 years has been able to do, lay the groundwork for universal, national health care. That is quite a legislative record, isn’t it? KUCINICH: Well, you can’t take away from the president his accomplishments, and I certainly don’t. But, there is this factor at the beginning of yours news show, you demonstrated, the economy is in a deep trough. We’re looking at a double dip recession. We have 9.5 percent of Americans out of work, over 15 million American has out of work. You have the trade deficit which is the largest it’s been in the last two years. We have to do something about the joblessness. It’s a key issue. And until the administration effectively addresses that, then those of us who call ourselves liberals are going to continue to insist, look, we should be talking about a full employment economy. We should be talking about getting America back to work. We shouldn’t be capitulating to the Fed or Wall Street with this false notion that a certain amount of unemployment is necessary for the proper functioning of the economy. We have to get America back to work. That is the key and central issue to all of this. And, in addition, if I might add, don’t forget about getting out of Afghanistan and Iraq, because that also inevitably has a drag on the economy. STEPHANOPOULOS: I know those are all big- The President has been pushing, though, very hard for more job creations programs. But the votes just aren’t there in the House and Senate, are they? KUCINICH: Well, you know what, though? The kind of tremendous hope that America felt in January of 2009 with the election of Barack Obama, an election which I supported after the- they’re still out there. People still want to believe that government has this transformational power. And it does. But we need the leadership that can make it happen. Franklin Roosevelt recognized in 1933 that America needed not just a New Deal, but we will to put America back to work. Rebuild the economy, rebuild America. We still have the capacity to do that now. And that’s what I say, the criticism is about hopes that have not been realized and the intention to make sure they get realized while we have a President we do want to support. STEPHANOPOULOS: Democratic governor Ed Rendell said the other day at that President is vulnerable to the primary challenge from the left. Are you considering on running again? KUCINICH: No. And I think it’s, you know, what we have to do is focus on coming together for the purpose of getting out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, the news is they want to slow down the movement out of Afghanistan. We have to focus on creating jobs. And, you know, it’s important who’s president, yes. But it’s also important that we as Democrats come together on mainstream economic ideas and try to paint as out of the mainstream, people who want a full-employment economy. People who want peace, people who want to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan. That’s the mistake that Mr. Gibbs made. He’s missing exactly what’s happening out there across America.

Rick Sanchez & Roland Martin Slam Limbaugh, Beck as Illegitimate, ‘Racist’

CNN’s Rick Sanchez returned to attacking conservative talk radio on Wednesday’s Rick’s List program, lamenting that “a lot of people in this country…think that Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are legitimate news organizations.” Sanchez also brought on liberal CNN contributor Roland Martin to do the same: ” The Glenn Becks of the world…use the race-baiting…Rush Limbaugh and his racist language ” . The left-leaning CNN anchor brought on Martin and Memphis, Tennessee Tea Party founder Mark Skoda just after the bottom of the 4 pm Eastern hour to discuss the NAACP’s recently-passed resolution condemning the tea party movement’s “racism.” As you might expect, Sanchez singled out two isolated examples of racially-tinged signs at tea party rallies: a birther tea party protester who held a “sent Obama back to Kenya” sign while carrying a stuffed monkey, and a sign from the 9/12 rally in Washington, DC in 2009 that depicted President Obama as an African witch doctor. Martin treated Skoda in a confrontational manner from almost the beginning. The Memphis tea party leader brushed aside Sanchez’s citation of a recent ABC News/Washington Post poll which apparently found that “49 percent of Americans saying that they believe the tea party movement is based in some part on racial prejudice.” The pro-Obama contributor then pounced: “Well, actually, he didn’t actually answer your question. He danced around your question because I don’t- he obviously did not want to answer it . So I will let him have a second opportunity, Rick, to actually answer the question.” Sanchez agreed to Martin’s point and asked, “Would you like another chance to answer the question?” Skoda replied, “Sure, I’d be happy. First of all, I don’t know the statistics, and certainly, what the sampling size of this poll.” Both Sanchez and Martin interrupted at this point, repeating it was an ABC News/Washington Post poll, with the anchor adding, ” a very legitimate organization- very legitimate polling data .” The CNN anchor returned to the idea of the supposed legitimacy of the mainstream media versus conservative talk radio near the end of the segment as he and the pro-Obama contributor blasted Beck and Limbaugh: SANCHEZ: Roland, you get the last word. MARTIN: I…think part of the problem here is that when you look at the people who I think some tea parties- tea party folks look to, the Glenn Becks of the world, who say the President’s a racist, and they use the race-baiting, when you look at Rush Limbaugh and his racist language as well – that’s what you have here, and at the end of the day, if it’s about rights, fine, but reject the people who want to bring race into the rally, into the party. So, I salute those who do that. They’re the righteous folks. But not all tea party leaders are willing to do that, and I think the NAACP is simply saying, remove the racist elements from your existence because they’re the ones who are hindering your message. SANCHEZ: Well, unfortunately, there’s a lot of people in this country that look at legitimate news organizations like The Washington Post and scoff, and actually think that Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are legitimate news organizations . MARTIN: Well, they make up stuff. They’re not legitimate to me at all. SANCHEZ: Sad as that may be – gentlemen, we’ll have to leave it there. Martin also attacked Limbaugh during an October 20, 2008 segment with CNN’s Campbell Brown, using the cliched “fat idiot” insult against him. Earlier in the segment, the tea party leader noted that he and his organization had “repudiated racism at every chance,” and added a critique of the media’s coverage of the New Black Panther Party: “On the other hand, I didn’t hear too much being said when Shabazz suggested that white cracker babies and police should be murdered, and that is, far and away, extreme, versus a sign that might be carried at such an event.” Martin brushed aside this critique and attacked Fox News to the apparent amusement of Sanchez: MARTIN: Media Matters has an interesting take on that, and that Fox News has actually put the New Black Panther Party on the network more than anybody else in the past 10 years. So maybe they’re the ones pushing that story he’s talking about, so maybe they should answer why they are giving them a platform to espouse their views . (Sanchez laughs) That’s one thing they should answer…. CBS had a poll, as well, of tea party members where more than a quarter said they believed this president was doing more for blacks than anybody else – not based upon any real data, just simply a particular view. And so, I can understand why people hold a view. But the tea party should be saying, if you come with your racist rhetoric and your signs, you are not welcome- get out of here. That’s the right response. The CNN anchor then used a liberal talking point about the tea party movement in his next question to the tea party leader: “How much of this do you think, Mark, has to do with the fact that the tea party has come to fruition at a time when we have our first African-American president in the history of the United States, and it’s almost impossible to look at those two without seeing them together?” Sanchez has attacked conservative talk show hosts on several occasions. On July 9, the anchor hinted they were uneducated: “Many… don’t even have a college degree .” Earlier in 2010, the CNN personality repeatedly insinuated that ” crazy talk show hosts that are so right wing ” were to blame for ten congressman requesting extra security just before ObamaCare was passed. Back in 2009, Sanchez had to apologize for running a fake quote attributed to Limbaugh in October. Two months earlier, he accused anti-ObamaCare activists of spreading lies , attributing this to the protesters relying ” exclusively [on] right-wing media and right-wing television channels .” The CNN anchor also hinted on June 11, 2009 that the white supremacist who killed a guard at the U.S. Holocaust Museum, might have been ” motivated to move by right-wing pronouncements …on some TV and radio outlets.” Sanchez went beyond hinting during an April 8, 2009 segment about the murder of three Pittsburgh police officers: “That weekend tragedy involves a man who allegedly shot and killed three police officers in cold blood. Why? Because he was convinced, after no doubt watching Fox News and listening to right-wing radio , that quote, ‘Our rights were being infringed upon.'”

Illegals rob elderly citizen, citizens fires gun, prosecutors charge the citizen–and not the illegals

This is a CLASSIC example of how, in cities like Denver where the politicians have promoted sanctuary city policies, illegal aliens are given more rights than citizens. There is a local news video on the page below: http://www.kdvr.com/news/kdvr-elderly-man-shoots-thieves-txt,0,1105363.story *** Elderly man facing serious charges for shooting at thieves Julie Hayden Investigative Reporter 7:22 PM MDT, July 7, 2010 WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. – Legal analyst Dan Recht said he believes the Jefferson County District Attorney is “seriously overcharging” a Wheat Ridge homeowner, accused of attempted first degree murder for shooting at two thieves. 82-year-old Robert Wallace said he fired two shots at two men when they tried to run him over while stealing his flatbed trailer. Wallace now faces twelve felony counts, including four counts of attempted first degree murder, for what he described as an act of defending his property and his life. If convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison. One of the thieves, Damacio Torres later admitted to the theft. He and his partner in crime, Alvara Cardano both have prior arrest records and are believed to be in the country illegally. But they are not facing any charges. Recht said, in his experience, prosecutors overcharge cases to force a person to plea bargain. He argued that it's just not right to put a person through that kind of mental and financial stress. Jefferson County DA, Scott Storey, indicated he'll take a closer look at his office's decision to throw the book at the homeowner and hinted the charges could be reduced. He said the investigation continues into the confessed thieves. *** There are additional details you need to know: 1) the two illegal aliens had many prior arrests for theft. At one point recently they stole a $60,000 piece of farm equipment on a trailer in a very similar theft. 2) investigators said they believe the two criminals are part of a car theft ring, and wanted the trailer for additional thefts. 3) the driver of the truck was hit by a bullet and is now paralized, and wants to sue the elderly man “for everything he has” 4) First Degree Murder is a capital punishment offense, so this 82 year old gentleman could go to jail for the rest of his life or even receive the death penalty for defending his life and property. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070817192825AAdnJoq 5) In interviews on Denver radio programs, local defense lawyers, former prosecutors and former Congressmen in colorado have stated that had the “victims” been anything other than illegal immigrants, Mr Wallace would not be charged at all. 6) the prosecuting attorneys have pressed NO CHARGES against the illegal immigrant theives. NONE. . added by: curtisreed

Lil Boosie Pleads Not Guilty To Murder, Conspiracy Charges

Baton Rouge rapper accused of hiring killers and of conspiring to smuggle drugs into prison. By Gil Kaufman Lil Boosie Photo: Frank Micelotta/ Getty Images Rapper Lil Boosie (born Torrence Hatch) pleaded not guilty on Monday afternoon to murder, drug and conspiracy charges in a brief court appearance. The 27-year-old Baton Rouge, Louisiana, rapper — already behind bars on a probation violation — was indicted on first-degree murder charges by a grand jury on June 17 in connection with an incident in October, when two men shot and killed 35-year-old Terry Boyd through the window of his home. According to The Advocate newspaper, Boosie appeared in court for just a few minutes, looking somber, surrounded by six law enforcement officers and dressed in an orange prison jumpsuit, with his wrists and ankles shackled. He told state District Judge Mike Erwin he was not guilty of one count of first-degree murder, two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution, three counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics and three counts of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to distribute narcotics. Boosie was ordered to return to court on October 14. The rapper’s attorney, entertainment lawyer Marcus Allen, told reporters afterward that his client is “absolutely not guilty,” adding, “We’re going to be preparing our defense. We have no idea what the evidence is. There’s a lot of rumor and innuendo.” Earlier this month, The Advocate reported that East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney Hillar Moore III said that investigators are looking into whether Boosie and others have ties to at least five other killings in the area since last year that have followed a similar murder-for-hire template as the Boyd slaying. Hillar said on Monday that his office hasn’t decided yet whether to pursue the death penalty against Boosie on the murder charge, but said it was “obviously” an option. Boosie is accused of paying men to kill Boyd and of conspiring with his girlfriend, Walnita Decuir and a former prison guard to introduce contraband — in this case, illegal drugs such as codeine pills and synthetic marijuana — into the prison where the rapper is being held. He also faces a third charge involving drugs and conspiracy. Boosie pleaded not guilty to all the charges. One of the men indicted earlier this month in the Boyd killing, Michael “Marlo Mike” Louding, 17, was also indicted in five other deaths, including the February killing of local up-and-coming rapper Chris “Nussie” Jackson, who had been publicly beefing with Boosie until his death in February. Police are also looking into the killing of Darryl “Bleek” Milton, a former employee of Boosie’s record label, BadAzz Entertainment, who was found shot in his Cadillac in April.
