The music video was just released for Black Thought ’s powerful title track to the upcoming docu-series paying, tribute to the life and legacy of Trayvon Martin . The song bookends Tariq’s verses with clips from the documentary, including audio of Zimmerman’s 911 call, and Martin’s mother saying, “They say that time heals all wounds. It does not.” Check out the powerful visual below, and tune in for the premiere of  Rest In Power on July 30.

BeyFlix: Beyoncé’s Next Album Might Be A Netflix Movie

Bey’s seventh album will basically be “a collection of music videos, which she is planning to shoot at the ruins of the Colosseum in Rome,” according to the report. Netflix apparently made a seven-figure deal for Lemonade but contractual obligations between HBO and TIDAL made it impossible. The source said: “Beyoncé has been hard at work on her next solo album and it is shaping up well. She wants it to be even more ground-breaking and visually impressive than Lemonade , which is why she is scouting out locations which will really wow people.

According to a friend’s account, OG music video model and businesswoman Melyssa Ford was involved in a violent car accident with an 18-wheeler that flipped her vehicle several times and resulted in injuries that could have been life-threatening. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Melyssa as she recovers from what appears to be a very horrific accident. You can see a photo of the damage done to her car on the flip side.

When You Get Arrested While Shooting A Music Video But The Show Must Go On

He was apprehended and handcuffed but that didn’t stop him from continuing to keep the cameras rolling. Instead of chronicling his arrest for legal purposes, he decided to continue shooting his music video while in cuffs.   The cop didn’t seem to mind.
