A Florida police officer was suspended after he arrested two young children in school last week, including a 6-year-old who “threw a tantrum” only because of an apparent medical condition, according to a relative and police. Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolón said in a statement that school resource officer Dennis Turner (pictured left) did not obtain the approval of a commanding officer before making the arrests last Thursday. Department policy requires such. “The Orlando Police Department has a policy that addresses the arrest of a minor and our initial finding shows the policy was not followed,” Rolón said. “As a grandparent of three children less than 11 years old this is very concerning to me.” The 6-year-old was charged with battery after she kicked someone at Lucious and Emma Nixon Academy, a K-5th grade charter school. Florida is one of a few states in the country that has no age requirement when it comes to arrests. According to the girl’s grandmother, her behavioral issues stem from sleep apnea. Her arrest was halted by a supervisor and she was returned to school. According to her grandmother, her granddaughter was fingerprinted and even had her mug shot taken. “They told us we had to wait a few minutes because [she] was being fingerprinted, and when she said finger printed it hit me like a ton of bricks,” Kirkland said. “No six year old child should be able to tell somebody that they had handcuffs on them and they were riding in the back of a police car and taken to a juvenile center to be fingerprinted, mug shot” The 8-year-old, who was arrested in a separate incident, was processed and later released to a relative. The story prompted massive outrage on social media. Millions of fans rejoiced at the news that Jamie Spears is out as Britney’s conservator . For now, her personal life will be managed by another. Britney’s mom has been fighting in court to wrest control from Jamie so that she can look after her daughter’s affairs. Unfortunately, she has now lost that court battle — and Jamie is expected to resume his tyrannical hold on Britney as early as January. TMZ reports that Lynne Spears’ fight for her daughter’s conservatorship did not go as planned. Lynne felt that Jamie had been doing a poor job when acting as their famous daughter’s conservator. She wanted the reigns. But the court ruled that Jamie will continue to manage Britney’s estate from a financial angle. Jodi Montgomery is currently handling the more personal aspects of the conservatorship. Jamie hand-picked Jodi while stepping back from the role, allegedly for medical reasons, in the wake of his alleged attack on Britney’s son. For many years, Lynne Spears did not appear — at least to the public — to take much interest in the conservatorship. That changed this spring, when Britney’s sudden 30-day stint in a mental health facility prompted cries of alarm and “Free Britney.” While some of the outcry was well-intentioned but a little dehumanizing, some fans were surprised to see Lynne agree with them. She has openly discussed her belief that Britney’s social media appears to be manipulated, perhaps without her knowledge. Then, Lynne filed documents to see more of what’s going on with Britney’s health management. Britney is an incredible mother, a titan of the music industry, and beloved all over the world. She is also a grown woman. She is 37. In two months and a little change, she’ll be 38. TMZ notes that just about everyone “in the know” agrees that the conservatorship initially saved her life. That may well be true — but that doesn’t mean that it needs to stay. It has been in effect for nearly 12 years, now. How long before Britney is permitted to manage her own life? Reports claim that Britney’s mental and emotional well being is less than ideal at the moment. For instance, Britney just recently backed out of an appearance at an awards show, opting to race back to the car. And her stay at a mental health facility earlier this year was reportedly so that she could find a new medication that works. Of course, vague claims about a mysterious mental illness are hard for many fans to swallow, and not because it’s an “invisible illness.” There are conspiracy theorists who believe that reports about Britney are deliberately exaggerated … to keep the conservatorship alive. We don’t know that we’d go that far, but we can certainly join millions of Britney’s other fans in wishing to keep Jamie as far away from her affairs as possible. Jamie may be off the hook for child abuse charges , despite allegedly breaking down a door to assault then 13-year-old Sean Preston. But that doesn’t mean that he’s, you know, a good person or safe to be around. Reports say that Britney hasn’t spoken to her awful father since that scary incident — perhaps even since before that. And she and Sean Federline made sure that the boys were safe, sending them to Kevin’s immediately where Jamie’s conservatorship means squat. Both of Britney’s sons now have restraining orders barring their garbage grandfather from seeing them for the next three years. According to AllHipHop.com, the Yonkers rapper signed with his OG recording home this summer and plan include the release of a Christmas album called DMX-Mas . X’s debut, It’s Dark and Hell is Hot, dropped back in 1998, eventually going quadruple platinum. He would drop four more album on the label, all financial successes. He would drop an album via Columbia ( Year of the Dog… Again ) in 2006 while another in 2012, Undisputed , was independent. Besides various legal infractions, it was tax trouble that eventually landed X in the bing in 2018, but he was released in January 2019 .

W hen it comes to supporting the youth, it takes a village. After the story of a St. Louis woman who makes 100 lunches for children in her local community every day made headlines, several donors have stepped up to contribute to her initiative, St. Louis Public Radio reported. For five years, Champale Anderson has used her own money to make free snack bags for kids in her St. Louis neighborhood who would otherwise go hungry. She started a GoFundMe with a goal of $1,500. It's raised more than $60,000. Through her Champ’s Teardrops initiative, she provides students with nutritious bagged lunches and snacks. She has an open-door policy where kids in the community can stop by her home to pick up food. “I noticed the kids they are always hungry. They get off the bus and they take off running and they never know what I will have in the bag. I switch up and have special treats for my special babies,” she told Fox 2 News . “It makes me proud. My goal is to go to different neighborhoods and give out bags.” Since launching a GoFundMe page for her project, Anderson has gone far beyond her $1,500 goal and raised over $65,000. She plans on using the funds to grow her project and continue to make an impact in the lives of children in her community and beyond. Initiatives like Champ’s Tearsdrops are needed as childhood hunger remains an issue in the U.S. According to the nonprofit No Kid Hungry , more than 12 million children in America live in food-insecure households. Further research revealed that 17.9 percent of children under the age of 18 live in homes where there are scarce amounts of food or there is a lack of safe and nutritious food options. Def Jam has confirmed with that the former Ruff Ryders rapper has recently signed a new record deal with the historic rap label. If you recall, from the 1990s through the early 2000s, DMX was one of Def Jam’s top-selling artists. Releasing five albums overall for the label, including his two classic LPs, It’s Dark and Hell Is Hot and Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood , which both dropped in the same year. After being released from a West Virginia prison in January after serving a one-year prison sentence for tax evasion , the rap legend has been staying busy performing at old-school rap shows and recording music with longtime collaborator and friend Swizz Beatz. Swizz confirmed the great news of DMX’s re-signing during his interview with Power 105.1.’s The Breakfast Club . He feels that X’s new deal will bring him back to his legendary status.
If you’ve been keeping up with the increasingly bizarre saga of rapper Tekashi69 — real name, Daniel Hernandez — you know the face-tatted rapper will soon present a considerable challenge to the fine folks at the Witness Protection Program. It all started back in November, when Tekashi was arrested for a list of crimes that seemed likely to put him behiund bars for the rest of his natural life. Fortunately for Hernandez, he had a plan to escape that unpleasant fate — snitching. And while his hip hop career may have been a disappointment, Tekashi has since proven himself to be the Jay Z of naming names. All this week, Tekashi has been testifying in the trial of Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack and Anthony “Harv” Ellison, who, like him, are alleged former memers of the Nine Trey Bloods. Hernandez says he met Mack, Ellison and other members of the Nine Treys on the set of his first music video. Apparently, he had the idea of making the clip for “Gummo” a gang-themed production, and within a few months, he was living the life himself as a full-fledged member of the gang. Or at least that’s what the Nine Treys told him. Over the course of his time with the gang, Hernandez shelled out more than $85,000 in protection money — but what he really needed protection from was his own security detail. Eventually, the Nine Treys kidnapped Tekashi, pistol-whipped him, and robbed him of jewelery worth more than $50,000. We guess it’s not surprising that he’s eager to squeal now that he’s facing life in prison as a result of his involvement with the gang. Tekashi has mentioned several other rappers during his time on the stand — identifying Jim Jones as a fellow Nine Trey and admitting to putting out a hit on rival Chief Keef. But no of his industry insider talk has garnered more attention than the claims he made yesterday abotu Cardi B. Tekashi claims that Cardi is also a Nine Trey, who — like him — used the gang as protection and enforcement early in her career. “I knew who she was,” he said when prosecutors asked about Cardi’s alleged gang activity. “I didn’t pay attention.” Cardi has admitted in the past to involvement with the Bloods: “I used to pop off with my homies. And they’d say, ‘Yo, you really get it poppin’. You should come home. You should turn Blood,’” she told GQ last year. “And I did. Yes, I did. And something that — it’s not like, oh, you leave. You don’t leave.” But apparently, she draws the line at being lumped in with the ultra-violent Nine Treys. “You just said it yourself… Brin not 9 Trey,” Cardi tweeted on Thursday after catching wind of Tekashi’s allegations. “I never been 9 Trey or associated with them.” So his testimony against Cardi might not help Hernandez secure a lighter sentence — but he’s succeeded in making one more enemy on the outside.
