Tyler Baltierra: I Suffer From Bipolar Disorder

For much of the past two years, Catelynn Lowell’s struggle with mental illness has been documented by Teen Mom OG camera crews. Lowell has been commended for her bravery in being so honest about her difficulties, and many have heaped praise on her husband, Tyler Baltierra, for his endless support of his struggling wife. Now, Tyler is opening up about his own mental health issues, and like Catelynn, he’s sharing details about his battle in hopes of diminishing damaging stigmas encouraging fans to seek help when they need it. Baltierra revealed on Twitter this week that he’s been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. In a series of candid tweets, Tyler revealed that he initially planned to keep his diagnosis a secret, but was encouraged by his wife to go public with his struggle. “Honestly, I wasn’t even planning on releasing that info, but once Cate mentioned about my recent diagnosis, I figured “what the hell!?” the 26-year-old tweeted. “Like why am I so against telling anyone!? It’s actually been a little easier to digest since I have been talking about it more,” he added. Asked if he plans to seek a pharmaceutical solution, Baltierra reveals that he has not yet decided on a course of treatment: “Well tbh it’s still so new to me,” he wrote. “So, I’ve been doing non-stop research on the diagnosis, the different remedies to combat symptoms, & how to better understand it. I did refuse medication, but only because I wanted to try all of the natural remedies first. It’s a journey,” It seems the diagnosis did not come as a total shock to Tyler, who has long suspected he may suffer from a mental illness. “He mentioned in the past that he thought that maybe he suffered from bipolar disorder, but he wasn’t sure,” a source explained to Radar Online. “He’s talked about his mood going from super funny and goofy, which he’s known for, to his depressive phases. That was a red flag for him.” It’s unclear if Tyler’s mental illness will be addressed on future episodes of Teen Mom OG . Music legend Prince’s death will not result in criminal charges , but that doesn’t mean that Prince’s name can rest in peace. Sinead O’Connor, as famous for her troubles and activism as for her music, has accused the late music legend of some terrible things, including violence against women. Now Prince’s ex-wife, Mayte Garcia, is slamming Sinead’s claims as absurd. Sinead spoke to the Carver County Sheriff’s investigators just a little over a week after Prince’s tragic death . That recording has now been released, and Sinead had some shocking and stunning accusations about the beloved celebrity. For one thing, she told investigators that Prince “used hard drugs.” While that’s not the most shocking thing that she said, she asserts that she knows it to be true, saying: “I know this because I spent time with the man.” It gets much worse. Sinead also came forward with a very serious accusation. She claims that Prince “had been violent to a number of women in his life.” That is jaw-dropping and serious … if true. She also claimed that he shelved his famous “Black Album” because he had a “vision of God” telling him to do so. Sinead then made her most sensational, if hardly the most damning, accusation against the late music legend. She accused him of, we kid you not, devil-worship. Wild . Now, Prince’s ex-wife is speaking to TMZ and refuting Sinead’s claims. Mayte Garcia was Prince’s wife from 1996 to 2000. She says that not only was he never violent with her, but she never witnessed him be violent towards anyone. Any woman or any man. She says that he did not do hard drugs, and that she saw him drunk only once. Garcia goes on to call Sinead’s timing into question, since Prince isn’t alive to defend himself. In fact, Garcia casts doubt on the idea that Sinead was ever really that close with Prince. She also, almost needless to say, dismisses the idea that Prince was somehow into devil-worship. “I strongly deny that in his honor.” Sinead O’Connor has had a troubled history, including making a disturbing video in 2017 that had fans fearing for her life. She has been known for being both impulsive and outspoken over the years. In the early ’90s, she stirred up controversy by tearing up a photo of the pope while performing on Saturday Night Live as a musical guest … without warning anyone on the show that she would do so. Unfortunately, in her attempts to make valid points about subjects like child-abuse, she sometimes alienates her audience by making outlandish claims or pulling dramatic stunts. This is also not the first time that she has spoken ill of Prince. In a couple of old interviews, she claimed that Prince had summoned her to his house and tried to discourage her from using foul language in interviews. She says that her rebuttal caused him to become violent and chase her out of the house. Many found that claim to be unbelievable … especially after a 2004 interview with Graham Norton, in which she described Prince as “a sweet guy,” and called the story “much exaggerated by the press.” While we’d never rule out the idea of someone, regardless of their reputation as a kind man and an advocate for women, secretly harboring a dark side … Sinead’s claims don’t seem to be substantiated. If a woman whom she suggests he has “hospitalized” were to come forward, that would be one thing. Until then … some wonder if Sinead was speaking impulsively over the phone. Blake Shelton Throws All the Shade at Miranda Lambert for Dating Evan Felker

Blake Shelton holds many titles: Blake Shelton, Country Music Superstar. Blake Shelton, The Voice Coach. And to this list, we must now add: Blake Shelton, Flamethrower Extraordinaire. The beloved singer took Twitter followers by surprise on Wednesday afternoon when he heated up social media via one simple message that was clearly intended to burn his ex-wife to her core. And here’s why: Earlier this week, it was confirmed by multiple outlets that Miranda Lambert is dating Evan Felker. On its own, this development isn’t particularly shocking, considering Felker fronts the band that has been opening for Lambert on tour. HOWEVER, both Radar Online and Us Weekly report that Lambert very likely broke up Felker’s marriage by sleeping with the musician, as the former website has even obtained the artist’s divorce papers. They cite Felkner’s “abandonment” of ex-wife Staci Nelson and they were filed in February, right around the time Felkner allegedly got with Lambert. Just this revelation on its own was newsworthy and noteworthy. Heck, we wrote an entire article about it. But now we get to write a follow-up because Shelton has seemingly responded to the rumor that his ex-wife is a homewrecker by Tweeting the following: Been taking the high road for a long time.. I almost gave up.  But I can finally see something on the horizon up there!! Wait!! Could it be?! Yep!! It’s karma!! Whoa there! Well, alright then! Do you want a coat from all the shivering you must be doing now that so much shade has been hurled in your direction, Miranda? There’s really no way for anyone to interpret Blake’s message as anything other than a statement that Lambert cheated on him. The stars were married for four years and then split up in 2015 amid chatter that each side was unfaithful. But Shelton said very little at the time. He said at every occasion that he and Lambert would always be close and he’d always have a special place in his heart for her and yadda, yadda, yadda. However, it’s not as though there weren’t rumblings of Lambert’s cheating. Heck, there was one rumbling that said she cheated on Shelton FIVE times . The following tabloid cover alleged as much, quoting an insider who said Shelton caught Lambert in the act as one point and was left “heartbroken and furious” by her actions. If these reports were accurate, it would be hard to blame Shelton for now enjoying the fact that Lambert’s reputation has taken a hit due to her sexual intercourse with a married man. The country legend, of course, has moved very far on from Lambert. He’s been happily dating Gwen Stefani for ages, constantly gushing over her on Instagram and considering marrying her , if certain gossip out there is to be believed. Shelton also once said the following to Billboard about Stefani, who had recently broken up with husband Gavin Rossdale when she became intimate with Blake: “Who else on earth could understand going through a high-profile divorce from another musician? You can’t even imagine the similarities in our divorces.” If you’ll recall, Rossdale supposedly cheated on Stefani for years with the couple’s nanny. Could being the victims of cheating be what Shelton was talking about when citing the pair’s “similarities.” You tell us. (The answer is yes.) A lot of Kanye West's fans and even his critics have come forward in recent days to express their deep concerns. Why? Because many fear that he's on the verge of a mental breakdown. Kanye has always been known for his impulsive behavior. Many saw or heard of his spur-of-the-moment stunts, gaffes, and outlandish statements before they ever heard so much as a note of his music. But, in 2016, his statements became increasingly shocking — and he eventually had to cancel his tour because of his mental health. It's nearly two years later, but just a week after Kanye has returned to social media, his erratic statements — such as comparing himself and Trump to dragons — have fans genuinely fearing for his well-being. The report that he abruptly severed numerous business associations during his alarming tweets has also been viewed as a red flag. Now, Kim Kardashian is coming forward to defend her husband. She says that he's not losing his mind. She says that he's a visionary that most people just can't understand, and how dare people use his outlandish statements to question his mental health. But Kanye's most recent tweet is not really helping. 1. The calm before the tweet-storm Less than an hour before speaking up for her husband, Kim’s Twitter account was full of her products and her naked body. Business as usual. 2. It begins … Kim Kardashian is famous for being largely unbothered by the things that people say about her … but she has far less chill when it comes to her husband and her marriage. 3. Kim addresses one of the perceived red flags What Kim may be ignoring is that, though fans know that stars may cut ties with any number of people, fans were viewing it as just one sign among many that something may be wrong. 4. Kim actually refers to the “sunken place” here That is, of course, a reference to the horror film, Get Out. More to the point, she may be confused — no one is saying that differing beliefs is a sign of mental illness. We’ll thow up an example later in this slideshow. 5. Kanye West: I Love Donald Trump Whether Kim Likes It or Not!

As you’ve probably heard, Kanye West has been making quite a splash on Twitter this week. At first, fans were excited to see the outspoken rapper tweeting again after a lengthy hiatus. Now, many of them probably wish he would take another long break from social media. Kanye’s return to Twitter was like watching someone show up to a party with a case of booze to the delight of all the revelers … and then proceeding to drink the whole by himself and pass out under the coffee table. The excitement of those early hours when the rapper first started posting his stream-of-consciousness observations about the world around him quickly gave way to concern for Kanye’s mental state. While there have been some legitimate reasons to question West’s stability – such as the revelation that he recently battled an opioid addiction – much of what we’ve seen over the past few days has been nothing more than Kanye being Kanye. Of course, the tweets that have received the most attention have had to do with West’s love of Donald Trump , but his support for the president really shouldn’t come as a surprise. For one thing, Kanye famously visited Trump in Manhattan during the president’s hectic transition to the White House. But more importantly – is anyone who’s familiar with the man’s personality actually shocked that Kanye is drawn to a guy who plastered his name all over New York City in giant gold letters? That’s basically the most Kanye action ever carried out by someone not named Kanye.  To be fair, some people might be taken aback by the extent of ‘Ye’s love (his word, not ours) of Trump. As you can see, Kanye really stirred the pot by spending much of today doubling and tripling down on his esteem for 45: “You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone,” West tweeted, before acknowledging that he “doesn’t agree with” everything the president does. Yeezy further confused the issue by revealing that he also has deep affection for Hillary Clinton. “If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary. I love Hillary too,” he wrote. Among those who seem a bit perplexed by Kanye’s latest tweet-storm is none other than the rapper’s wife, Kim Kardashian: Kim apparently intervened today in order to ensure that her husband was being as clear as possible with both his longtime fans and the MAGA folk who just decided today that “Flashing Lights” is an all-time banger. “My wife just called me and she wanted me to make this clear to everyone. I don’t agree with everything Trump does. I don’t agree 100% with anyone but myself,” West tweeted today. Naturally, this led to another round of Kim-Kanye divorce rumors , but it seems that Mrs. Kardashian-West is actually taking her husband’s political eccentricities in stride. Earlier this afternoon, in response to jokes about his imprisonment in “the sunken place” – a reference to Jordan Peele’s Get Out – Kanye tweeted a photo of his lavish home, along with a caption reading: “Do this look like the sunken place.” The photo was retweeted by Kim, who added her own caption: “Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?” Kim was quick to clap back at critics who suggested her remark was anything more than a joke. There’s so much insanity taking place on Ye’s page these days that it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that he also promised to turn the Grammys into the “Yammys” and claimed that he’s made more money from selling sneakers than the most successful footwear peddler of them all. “I am currently the single highest paid person in footwear. That means I make more money on shoes than Michael Jordan,” he tweeted. Whatever you say, ‘Ye. Just make sure to take some time to record a little new music soon, and if you want to load up with high-pitched soul samples, a la The College Dropout , that would be just super with us. Naturally, this led to another round of Kim-Kanye divorce rumors , but it seems that Mrs. Kardashian-West is actually taking her husband’s political eccentricities in stride. Earlier this afternoon, in response to jokes about his imprisonment in “the sunken place” – a reference to Jordan Peele’s Get Out – Kanye tweeted a photo of his lavish home, along with a caption reading: “Do this look like the sunken place.” The photo was retweeted by Kim, who added her own caption: “Ummm babe. We had a rule to not show our home on social media! Soooo can we now allow KUWTK filming in the home?” Kim was quick to clap back at critics who suggested her remark was anything more than a joke. There’s so much insanity taking place on Ye’s page these days that it’s easy to lose sight of the fact that he also promised to turn the Grammys into the “Yammys” and claimed that he’s made more money from selling sneakers than the most successful footwear peddler of them all. “I am currently the single highest paid person in footwear. That means I make more money on shoes than Michael Jordan,” he tweeted. Whatever you say, ‘Ye. Just make sure to take some time to record a little new music soon, and if you want to load up with high-pitched soul samples, a la The College Dropout , that would be just super with us. San Francisco’s Grace Cathedral is definitely moved. On Wednesday, they are hosting a Beyoncé mass which will celebrate and unpack the legacy of Bey. The event will be hosted by the weekly progressive worship service The Vine , and it’s set to include Beyoncé’s music and Bible readings by women of color that relate to her music. Reverend Yolanda Norton , who will preside over the mass, assured folks that this isn’t some Bey Hiv cult situation. “This is not a service deifying Beyoncé,” she told Essence . “This is a service that uses Beyoncé’s music as a tool to engender positive, empowering conversation about Black women. The premise of [the class] is that if we look at the personal life, career trajectory, music and public persona of Beyoncé, so much of her life reflects aspects of black women’s stories.” She continues, “We use ‘Flaws and All,’ a song maybe she wrote for her fans or for Jay-Z . But if you listen to the words in an ecclesiastical context, it’s a very faithful, honest, raw acknowledgment of the imperfect relationship we have with God.” Preach!   Are you down for the Beyoncé-filled, fire-baptized session?
