UPDATE: AP 12:46 pm Eastern FORT HOOD, Texas – The Army psychiatrist suspected of going on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood recently asked for advice on what he should tell fellow soldiers concerned about fighting Muslims in Iraq or Afghanistan, a local Muslim leader said Saturday. But during their second conversation, Hasan seemed almost incoherent, Danquah said. “But what if a person gets in and feels that it's just not right?” Danquah recalled Hasan asking him.

UPDATE: AP 5:54 PM Eastern FORT HOOD, Texas – As if going off to war, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan cleaned out his apartment, gave leftover frozen broccoli to one neighbor and called another to thank him for his friendship — common courtesies and routines of the departing soldier. Instead, authorities say, he went on the killing spree that left 13 people at Fort Hood, Texas, dead.
