After sticking around for daughter Sasha to finish high school, they look like they’ve decided to stay. Michelle and Barack just invested $8.1 Million in a D.C. area mansion according to Yahoo News. The Obamas paid $8.1 million to buy the mansion in a neighborhood called Kalorama. They have been renting the property since January, Yahoo news reported . A little fun fact about the eight-bedroom, nine-and-a-half-bath home– it’s in the same neighborhood as the home of President Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner. There’s no telling if the Obama’s will likely retire in the area, but they will be around for at least another year and change, according to what their spokesman tells Yahoo. “Given that President and Mrs. Obama will be in Washington for at least another two and a half years, it made sense for them to buy a home rather than continuing to rent property.”
