It’s been nearly two weeks since Robert Durst was arrested for the murder of Susan Berman, but new stories of his bizarre and – in some cases – highly suspicious behavior continue to emerge daily. Last week, we learned that Durst may have practiced killing by slaughtering his own pet dogs. Shortly thereafter, the judge who presided over the real estate heir’s 2003 murder trial revealed that she believes Durst left a cat’s head on her doorstep after he’d been found not guilty. Of course, these allegations are nothing compared to the atrocities that Durst is accused of committing against humans. He’s been a person of interest in no fewer than three murder investigations, and now police are investigating a possible link between Durst and a fourth disappearance – this one more than 40 years old. In 1971, Durst and his then-girlfriend Kathleen McCormack (whom Durst was later suspected of murdering) owned a health food store in the town of Middlebury, Vermont. That same year, an 18-year-old college freshman named Lynn Schulze disappeared. The case has never been solved, and state police say that in 2012, a tipster informed them that Durst may have been involved in the Schulze case. Middlebury Police Chief Tom Hanley told reporters today that he is not yet ready to call Durst a suspect, but the 71-year-old possible triple-murderer is being investigated. In other Durst news, a woman named Linda Walker Zevallos says that she dated Durst briefly in 2000, and things quickly turned sour. Not surprisingly, she reports that the relationship didn’t last long due to Durst’s bizarre and often frightening behavior. Zevallos says she began to grow concerned the first time she visited Durst’s sparsely-furnished apartment and saw that he kept a large saw in the living room. The final straw came when Durst drove Zevallos and her 13-year-old son, Matthew, to dinner one night. “He said, ‘Oh, I forgot. I’ve got two guns in the backseat. Appearing in the broadcast booth with Marc Zumoff and Malik Allen on Wednesday night, Iverson revealed that he would like to join the Sixers front office. “I have a relationship with these fans like no other. And with this city and with this organization,” Iverson explained of his ties to Philadelphia. “Anything I can do to help, I’m here.” The conversation then turned to Iverson’s post-retirement plans, and if he would like to remain around the game, potentially in a front office capacity. “I would like to be even in that war room,” Iverson replied. “Even if they don’t go with my decision or whatever, just to have an opinion and putting out what I think and trusting the organization to do what’s right.” In all seriousness, if anyone is qualified to give their opinion on basketball players it’s A.I. Now, it seems Kim’s interest in Kanye’s past might not have ended on Throwback Thursday. OK! magazine is claiming that Kim suspects Kanye might have knocked up one of his many one-night stands during his wild single days. “Kanye glosses over his dirty-dog past, but he has a long list of former conquests – including groupies, exotic dancers, students, video vixens and cocktail waitresses,” a source tells the tabloid. “Kim is obsessed with the idea that there’s a child out there that will come after his fortune.” At first, this sounds like the typical tabloid BS, but it makes sense that the topics of babies and Kanye’s past would be on Kim’s mind a lot these days. For one thing, Kim is trying to get pregnant and sharing every detail of her efforts with her family, friends, fans…pretty much anyone willing to listen. In addition, Kim quashed her family’s beef with Amber Rose out of fear of what the famously outspoken model knows (and would be willing to reveal) about her husband’s past. Given his impulsive nature and the large chunk of his life in which he was rich, famous and single we have little doubt that at some point, some embarrassing secrets about Kanye’s past will emerge. A.J. Pero, the lead drummer for rock band Twisted Sister, was found dead on Friday in Poughkeepsie, New York. He was 55 years old. According to multiple outlets, Pero was found unresponsive on the group’s tour bus and pronounced dead soon afterward at a nearby hospital. It is believed he passed away from a heart attack. “The members of Twisted Sister are profoundly saddened to announce the untimely passing of our brother, AJ Pero,” the group announced on Facebook this afternoon. “The band, crew and most importantly the family of AJ Pero thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time.” Pero joined Twisted Sister in 1982; departed the band in 1986; and returned in 1997. He played on all but one of the beloved hair metal band’s studio albums.
