Roy Garber, a star on A&E’s Shipping Wars, passed away Friday after suffering a heart attack in Texas. He was 49 years old. According the reality star’s girlfriend (via TMZ), Garber was taken to a hospital following the incident, though doctors were unable to save him. Family members say Garber had been stuck with a heart condition for awhile. Said the series via Facebook: “We are deeply saddened by the loss of a member of the A&E family. Our thoughts are with Roy’s loved ones during this difficult time. He will be missed.” Shipping Wars tracks carriers who transport unusual items and it had just wrapped its fifth season. Garber was the owner/operator of Arbie’s Team Transport in New Hampshire and he was one of the top earners in the country. We send our condolences to his loved ones.

Dennis Rodman has checked into rehab. The former NBA All-Star, who totally lost his $hit during an interview with CNN this month in concert with his trip to North Korea , has admitted he has a drinking problem. The five-time NBA champion has come under heavy scrutiny for celebrating the 31st birthday of dictator Kim Jong-un by playing in an exhibition basketball game in North Korea along with a number of ex-professional ballers. Rodman was asked by Chris Cuomo about the adventure a few weeks ago, flipped out over questions regarding that nation’s human rights violations and later apologized , saying he was wasted at the time. “What was potentially a historic and monumental event turned into a nightmare for everyone concerned,” Rodman’s agent Darren Prince told USA Today in a statement, adding: “Dennis Rodman came back from North Korea in pretty rough shape emotionally. The pressure that was put on him to be a combination ‘super human’ political figure and ‘fixer’ got the better of him. He is embarrassed, saddened and remorseful for the anger and hurt his words have caused.” Rodman appeared on Season 3 of Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew, but – shockingly – that rehab visit didn’t change his behavior. Let’s hope he takes his latest one a bit more seriously.

Dennis Rodman went positively ballistic today during an interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo. While surrounded with several former NBA players, Rodman defended his trips to North Korea as a “great idea for the world.” But should the group, who is due to play in a basketball game tomorrow in honor of Kim Jong Un ‘s 31st birthday, really be in Pyongyang? Is this a good idea, considering North Korea’s human rights record? Cuomo also asked Rodman a serious question about Kenneth Bae, an American citizen who was arrested in November 2012, convicted last spring by North Korea of unexplained “hostile acts” and sentenced to 15 years in a labor camp… only for Rodman to FLIP OUT. He sounds like Hulk Hogan giving a wrestling promo in the following video. You must watch it now: Dennis Rodman GOES OFF in Defense of North Korea Trip Then again… really, CNN?!? And while we saw him playing shirtless beach volleyball, acting like a sports and entertainment consultant and hanging with daughter Camila on last night’s official premiere, let’s face it: The opening episode each season is always about the totally insane ladies. And Juan got to meet 27 of them this week, as opposed to the regular 25. Who might become his wife and Camila’s stepmother? Who was bonkers enough to make Tila Tequila look sane? Let’s break down the best and the worst potential suitors, as the Bachelor took them Juan at a time at the premiere cocktail party… Chelsie is a blonde science “educator,” meaning she works at a museum. She tries to impress Juan by speaking Spanish. Renee is 32, one of the oldest contestants out there. She has an eight-year old son Ben. Single parents unite? Andi has a major ponytail and works as a lawyer in Atlanta. She’s not happy that she has to compete with other women. Amy feeds Juan some eggs, is 31 and works as a massage therapist in Los Angeles. She makes weird facial expressions. Nikki , 26, is a blonde pediatric nurse who included babies in her pre-taped intro. Strong move there. Lauren H is a “mineral coordinator,” whatever that means. She was dumped by her fiancé after six weeks. Valerie says she is a “pretty girl” and a personal trailer. We’re not sure how pretty she really is. Lacy has a nice smile and solid breasts. She’s all about her special needs relatives and takes care of the elderly and is way too perfect to win. Clare is 32 and part Mexican. Her dead father recorded a DVD message to her future husband. Christy is a “police support specialist.” This may be our favorite made-up occupation of anyone there. Cassandra , a former NBA dancer, goes totally silent during her first meeting with Juan. Watch The Bachelor Season 18 Episode 1 Online Those are just a few of our favorite possible suitors. As for moments that stood out during the actual party? Well… Nikki pulled out a stethoscope to check Juan’s heart rate… and to have him nestle his hand in her cleavage. Lucy dons a flower headband, a dress made from an ace bandage and white satin sheets and no shoes. She calls herself a “free spirit.” Lauren S. pedals a piano on wheels up the driveway. Maggie offers Juan a fishing hook and the line: “I just really hope you’re gonna be the big catch that I’ve been waitin’ for!” Kelly brings her dog to the shindig. Andi leaves the Bachelor the most flummoxed, as he utters multiple “Wows” during her limo exit. One contestant says “Give me three shots of Patron and I’ll be topless” and another says she hopes Juan Pablo dies. So, who will actually be moving ahead on this journey with Juan? The Miami Heat star acknowledged he fathered the child . According to the birth certificate, Aja Metoyer , 30, is the mother. The details of her relationship with the three-time NBA champion is unclear, though several reports indicate that they have known each other for a long time. Also unclear is the status of her relationship Damon Wayans Jr., son of In Living Color star Damon Wayans and currently a cast member on New Girl . Damon is very involved in the kids’ lives, according to TMZ … but it’s not known how involved he is in Aja’s. Particularly around February of last year. That’s when D-Wade got her pregnant, if you do the math. Dwyane Wade Fathers Child on Break From Gabrielle Union Gabrielle Union Engaged to Dwyane Wade The baby was born November 10, a matter of weeks before Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union got engaged after more than four years of dating. Wade claims they were on a break during the time the baby was conceived, though his timeline has raised eyebrows with social media watchers. It’s all speculation, obviously, but consider the following: The 40-year-old actress’ Instagram and Twitter feeds were full of Wade gushing throughout February and March … then radio silent in April in May. Makes you wonder.

Dwyane is finding it harder and harder to shake the dirty dogness of this situation. See this is why folks need to just use condoms when they cheat have casual sex. According to TMZ reports : Exactly 9 months before Dwyane Wade’s son was born (by a woman who’s NOT his fiancee) … Wade and Gabrielle Union were still acting like they were very much a couple … and TMZ has the proof. We broke the story … Wade’s baby mama, 30-year-old Aja Metoyer gave birth to Dwyane’s son Xavier on Nov. 10. Wade claims the two were on a “break” at the time. But on February 5th (9 months before the birth), Gabrielle was Instagramming about Wade … posting a photo of the NBA star cuddled up with her dog Sasha along with caption, “Sasha don’t play when it comes to her man… ‘Down to ride ’til the very end, it’s me and my boyfriend.’” A couple of days before that (on Feb. 1), Gabrielle posted a romantic photo of the couple together from a photo shoot for a “Flashback Friday.” Doesn’t seem like a couple on a break … We were pretty much thinking the same thing from looking at photos from Dwyane’s IG over the past year . There’s more … on February 19th, Gabby posted another pic of Dwyane holding one of her scripts … with the caption, “It takes a village to help an actress learn her lines… @dwyanewade takin a break from his Gatorade commercial to give me a line reading. Thanks coach :)” The patter continues until April … when Gabby stopped posting pics of Dwyane and started posting a bunch of sad cryptic quotes. One reads, “We cannot start over, but we can begin now, and make a new ending.” Another says, “Sometimes you have to get knocked down lower than you have ever been, to stand up taller than you ever were.” Oh it’s victory alright. Victory in the form of a big fat ring… But on May 16, Wade returns to the picture … with Union posting a photo of the couple, along with the caption, “I like this dude.” One would assume it was right around this time that Union decided to take him back. Womp womp. Do you REALLY believe the couple was on a break when the baby was conceived? More like they had a short breakup after Gabby found out if you ask us!
