Either Star Magazine really likes being sued, or they’re just trying to be the Onion of celebrity gossip these days, because these stories are getting absurd. Give them credit for at least being topical this time, though, rather than recycling Brangelina nonsense again (he’s putting it to Bella Heathcote , allegedly). With the Royal Wedding just weeks away, Star cites TOTALLY RELIABLE intel from a “palace tattletale” in breaking a bombshell: Kate Middleton is pregnant! OMG!! There’s going to be a big announcement about this after the honeymoon, the tabloid claims. Somehow we won’t be holding our breath for that. Meanwhile, Khloe and Lamar’s honeymoon is reportedly over. For Khlomar, only tears, meddling exes and appointments for sex are the norm these days. This isn’t exactly news, as it happens in any marriage. Finally, Taylor Armstrong is allegedly anorexic. Now that we can believe. Not bad, Star , batting .333 for the week. BTW, your lawyer’s on Line 1.

Jennifer Lawrence Loves The Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen as Much as You Do

Jennifer Lawrence cannot WAIT to star in The Hunger Games . The actress says that while she may not look much like the way Katniss Everdeen is described in the book series, she was a big fan long before she was cast as the character in the film adaptation and can’t wait to bring her to life. She hopes her own Hunger Games fanhood will help , as well. “The cool thing about Katniss is that every fan has such a personal relationship with her, they know and understand her in a singular way,” she says. “I’m a massive fan, so I get it.” Director Gary Ross and author Suzanne Collins have spoken out in defense of casting Lawrence as Katniss , despite the perceived physical differences. “She’s incredibly powerful, brave, and tough, and yet she has great tenderness and complexity,” says Jennifer, who earned an Oscar nod for Winter’s Bone . “It was very humbling hearing that Suzanne and Gary feel I embody those traits.” Other traits she says she embodies? Grittiness and toughness: “I was a cheerleader for six years, but I have a totally competitive side. I’ll wrestle anyone at any time. I was the manliest cheerleader. Barry Bonds Found Guilty in Steroids Trial

All-time home run leader Barry Bonds and his enormous head were convicted in a Los Angeles courtroom today of obstruction of justice, as it was determined he lied to a grand jury about using steroids and human growth hormone. The former San Franciso Giants star revealed no emotion after the verdict, which followed four days of deliberation. The jury was deadlocked on a trio of other charges. The case stemmed from a testimony Bonds gave in 2003, during which he denied knowledge of ever receiving performance-enhancing drugs from a Bay Area lab and claimed he had no idea that personal trainer Greg Anderson injected him with anything illegal. Major League Baseball’s Mitchell Report, however, listed over 100 names of individuals who had failed drugs tests. Bonds was among them. Federal sentencing guidelines now recommend he serve 15 to 21 months in prison, but the disgraced slugger will likely be related to home confinement instead. [Photo: Associated Press]

Is Immortals Helmer Tarsem the Honey Badger of Directors? A Movieline Investigation

New theory: Immortals director Tarsem Singh (excuse us, visionary director Tarsem ) is the honey badger of film directors. In an unprecedented move Saturday in San Francisco, the filmmaker behind such films as The Cell and The Fall stole the hearts and minds of WonderCon attendees away from Cowboys & Aliens helmer Jon Favreau — and mind you, Favreau is so popular that he has his own entrance music (“Back in Black,” natch). So how did visionary director Tarsem bring the house down during the panel for The Immortals , a 300 -styled movie he described as “Caravaggio meets Fight Club ?” Hit the jump for highlights from TarsemCon.
