A serious car wreck left 50 Cent hospitalized with possible injuries to his neck and back, according to a website affiliated with the rapper, This is 50. The crash involved his SUV and a mack truck, apparently. It happened early this morning on the Long Island Expressway just outside N.Y. City. The truck rear-ended 50’s SUV, which “almost flipped over.” The star was taken a nearby hospital, where, according to the site, doctors ran tests on his neck and back. Fortunately, he checked out fine. A rep for Curtis Jackson (50’s real name) confirms: “He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine.” Good to hear. Hopefully he recovers quickly and fully from the scary incident. In other 50 news, the rapper recently quashed his beef with Oprah .

According to the singer, he was trying to pull off an acrobatic move when he missed the landing and fell on his neck, causing an acute fracture of his vertebra. Derulo, 22, addressed his fans about the accident on , posting a picture showing him in a neck brace and hospital gown and explaining, “I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour! Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU! Like my new chain? ;),” The singer’s label also issued a statement from Derulo about the incident, which read, “To all my fans who planned to come to the ‘Future History’ world tour, the pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I’ve sustained. My fans mean everything to me, so I’m praying for a speedy recovery in order to perform for you in the near future.” The added that as Derulo was being rushed to Memorial West Hospital in Pembroke Pines, Florida he was told by doctors that he narrowly avoided being paralyzed in the incident. He’s since been released from the hospital, but has been ordered to wear the neck brace for several months. The tour, named after his second album , which was released in September, was slated to kick off in Glasgow on February 23. While it’s a serious injury the singer incurred, it looks like he’ll be okay, fortunately, ’cause he later Tweeted this photo of himself chillin’ at the hospital. “I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour!” he wrote , rocking a full neck brace and hospital gown while seemingly in a medical facility. As it stands right now (though maybe not for much longer), the 22-year-old is due to kick off the U.K. leg of his tour in Glasgow on February 23. There’s no word yet on exactly what the “In My Head” singer was doing when he suffered the injury, or just how debilitating it may prove to be. Rachel Uchitel is absolutely livid over a Page Six article that implies she’s happy her fiance died during the 9/11 attacks on New York City a decade ago. She’s so upset she says she’ll sue over this. The N.Y. Post ‘s Page Six Magazine ran a story in which Rachel allegedly said, “I believe Andy [my fiance] was meant to die because he was too good.” Look at that face. Would she say or do something hurtful?! “It would have been tragic if we got into fights and then divorced … I’m glad I didn’t get to see any flaws that time brings on everyone,” Rachel allegedly said. “I would [otherwise] be a fat housewife with three kids in Sands Point, Long Island.” Somebody’s persona non grata in Sands Point right now, we have an inkling. Rachel Uchitel insists she was misquoted, however, and that the quotes were taken wholly out of context. “I would have loved nothing more than to be Andy’s housewife,” she told TMZ , adding that she told Page Six the same. San Diego police said on Friday that Rebecca Zahau’s death was caused by her suicide, but what was only referenced and not revealed until this point was a mysterious message she left in the home of Jonah Shacknai. Medical Examiner Investigator Dana Gary has since told San Diego’s CBS News 8 that the suicide note was painted in black on the bedroom door. The paint was found on Zahau’s hands and the rope around her neck. The message: She Saved Him Can You Save Her . Rebecca Nalepa Found Dead “I noted black painted writings on the bedroom door that led into the room with the balcony,” said Gary, declining to speculate on the words’ meaning. Zahau (a.k.a. Rebecca Nalepa) was found naked, hands and feet bound, hanging by a makeshift noose in the courtyard of Shacknai’s mansion in Coronado, Calif. Her body was discovered July 13, just hours after she accessed her voicemail on which was a message about the grave condition of Shacknai’s 6-year-old son Max, who was in the hospital after falling down a staircase days earlier. The child later died from his injuries. Nevertheless, “These deaths were not the result of any criminal acts,” San Diego County Sheriff Bill Gore said at a press conference Friday. Zahau’s autopsy showed a “tape residue” on both of her legs and a long-sleeved, blue T-shirt wrapped three times “around her neck outside of the … reddish-orange rope” around her neck, said the report, obtained by CBS News 8. Shacknai, a pharmaceutical CEO, dated Zahau for several years. He was not home at the time of her death. His brother, Adam Shacknai, was staying in the guest house when he found Zahau hanging. Adam cut the rope and attempted to administer CPR. He then called 911.

According to reports from SITE Intelligence Group, which scans the Internet for terrorist activity, Letterman has been marked for death by a jihadist group for comments the “Late Show” host made on June 5 about Al Qaeda leader Ilyas Kashmiri, who was killed earlier this summer during a U.S. military strike in Pakistan. The threat on the Shumukh al-Islam web forum, which called for followers to “cut the tongue of the lowly Jew and shut it forever,” said that Letterman — who is Protestant — should be punished for his comments about the man who had been considered a possible replacement for late terror leader Osama bin Laden. “He showed his evil nature and deep hatred for Islam and Muslims, and said that Ilyas Kashmiri was killed and he joined bin Laden,” wrote someone calling themselves Umar al-Basrawi on the site, according to Entertainment Weekly . “We ask Allah to paralyze his tongue and grant the sincere monotheists his neck.” The FBI is reportedly investigating the threat and Letterman has been informed of the posting. The incident appears to have been inspired by a joke Letterman made in which he announced the death of Kashmiri, which involved the comedian making a slashing motion across his throat. “So Al Qaeda picked a succesor to Osama bin Laden and his name is Ilyas Kashmiri,” Letterman said during his monologue. “Well, guess what? He was blown up by an American drone. It wasn’t going to work anyway because they got off to a rocky start with this guy … He botched up the story of Paul Revere.” “He said that Kashmiri was killed in an airstrike in Pakistan … then, he showed his evil nature and deep hatred for Islam and Muslims, and said that Ilyas Kashmiri was killed and he joined bin Laden. Then the despicable one put his hand on his neck and demonstrated the way of slaughter!!” wrote al-Basrawi.
