Jerry Seinfeld Chops It Up With David Letterman Ahead Of New Episodes Of Comedians In Cars

Read the original here:

Jerry Seinfeld and David Letterman got together for an epic conversation on Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman . During their chat David asked Jerry about Michelle Wolf’s performance at the White House Correspondent Dinner and Jerry explained that he doesn’t really talk about politics. He prefers to ponder about raisins. Jerry also has new episodes of Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee hitting Netflix in June so be on the looking out for that as well. Source: Netflix / Netflix DAVID LETTERMAN: Michelle Wolf, may I, if you’ll indulge me … JERRY SEINFELD: Sure, go ahead. LETTERMAN: So I saw the complete script of what she had done. The more I got to thinking about it, I thought “wow, that was great.” Because, just, whatever the reaction – there’s no damage. And she had the guts to stand up there and didn’t apologize, where everybody is now apologizing for everything. So whether you liked it or not, I really had great admiration for the fact that she was able to just walk into that room and decimate the place (applause). But, you know her? SEINFELD: No, I don’t know her, I’ve just seen her on TV. But everybody talks about how dedicated – that she’s out every night working on her stuff and those are the kind of people I really like. LETTERMAN: Do you do Trump stuff when you go out? SEINFELD: No, it doesn’t interest me. I do a lot of raisin stuff. LETTERMAN: What? SEINFELD: Raisins, I have a lot of raisin material. Because you know, you have the Sun-Maid company … LETTERMAN: Ahhhh. SEINFELD: And then you have the Raisinet people. LETTERMEN: Yeah, that’s right. And you’re going to go with the Sun-Maid people. SEINFELD: I just think it’s interesting that after 80 years, Sun-Maid finally went “hey, why don’t we put some chocolate on it.” Imagine not thinking of that for 80 years. So that really gets me excited that people pay me to talk about those kinds of things.

Ayyee: Will Smith Is The Dance Instructor We Didn’t Know We Needed

Source: Axelle/Bauer-Griffin / Getty Will Smith isn’t just a box office breaking movie star and unintentional life coach —  apparently, he’s also the dance instructor we all need in our lives.   The Fresh Prince and his prince, Jaden Smith , had dinner with Reggaeton star Nicky Jam over the weekend and got jiggy to the star’s hit single “X”.   Low key, Will has been giving us cool dance moves as long as h’s been giving us good vibes. Just last month, he crossed off “getting salsa lessons from Marc Anthony ” off his dance list.   But this ain’t nothing new for Big Willie. Remember this epic moment from season one of Fresh Prince? Or how about the time him and Jimmy Fallon schooled us all on the evolution of hip hop dancing:     Let’s just say that when it comes to living life, Will Smith could teach all of us a thing or two. Check out more classic moves from Big Willie when you hit the flip.

‘Dear White People’ Drops Season 2 Teaser + Release Date

The inaugural season of the groundbreaking Netflix series Dear White People drew viewers in with its timely, frank and funny look at a group of black students on the campus of a predominately white university. Based on the 2014 hit indie film of the same name, season two of the show has just announced a release date and dropped an accompanying teaser trailer. If you are a fan of the Netflix hit Dear White People , (and really who isn’t) you only have a few weeks left before the series’ second season arrives to pick up on all the storylines from last season and offer fresh subject matter that tackles current issues such as the Alt-Right. Entertainment Weekly has a season two synopsis of what fans can expect from the students at Winchester University. Via Entertainment Weekly : ‘Dear White People’ premieres on May 4, Netflix revealed in a new teaser. The sharp satire’s second season picks up in the immediate aftermath of the failed protest that ended season 1 as Sam (Logan Browning), Reggie (Marque Richardson), Troy (Brandon P. Bell), and the other students deal with the repercussions. Whereas season 1 was structured around a racist blackface party that rocked the campus, the new season will be a bit of mystery, creator Justin Simien tells EW. “There’s a lot of secrets to uncover this season, in particular, who is coming after Sam,” says Simien, who previously revealed that a mysterious online troll has targeting Sam in the wake of the protest. “Everyone’s got secrets this season — secrets from each other, secrets from themselves. There’s lots of things that the characters don’t know and have kind of repressed, and sort of going into those treasure troves is something a lot of the characters are doing.” Emmy-winner Lena Waithe will recur in season 2 as P Ninny, an MC who stars on a ridiculous ‘Love & Hip Hop’-like reality series called ‘Trap-House Tricks.’   You can check out the Dear White People teaser trailer BELOW:   Check out today’s Top Stories here: Black Starbucks COO Speaks On Viral Arrest Video Tracee Ellis Ross Is Out Here Looking Like A Summer Popsicle And We Love It
