Rihanna appeared to be speaking from the heart – and about her breakup with Chris Brown – during her concert last night at Staples Center in Los Angeles. The subject of heartbreak certainly seemed to be on her mind, the same day as rumors of her split with Chris began to circulate across the Interwebs. “How many of you are in love? How many of you hate love? How many of you don’t f–king understand it? I’m in that group,” Rihanna said on stage. She then launched into “What Now,” which features the lyrics: “I’ve been ignoring this big lump in my throat / I shouldn’t be crying, tears were for the weaker days / I’m stronger, now what, so I say / But something’s missing.” Deep, deep stuff right there people. Thought-provoking. Despite her apparent in-concert soul-searching, Rihanna was still all smiles during the show, even encouraging the crowd to get rowdier at times. “Los Angeles, what the f––k?,” she said at one point. “I live here now, so I know y’all can get ratchet.” And they did, leading to an epic night for Rihanna , who recently spoke of her happiness at having a fresh start with Brown … so much for that evidently. In any case, rumors that he was cheating with Keisha Kimball appear to be false, and it doesn’t look like she was two-timing him either. It just fizzled. For the time being. How long before they reconcile, again?
