‘Jackass’ Star Ryan Dunn Dead At 34

Stuntman died in a Pennsylvania car crash on Sunday, MTV News confirms. By Jocelyn Vena Ryan Dunn Photo: Eddie Malluk/ WireImage Ryan Dunn, the 34-year-old “Jackass” star, died in a fatal car crash on Sunday night in Pennsylvania, MTV News confirmed Monday (June 20). According to police, the accident occurred at 3 a.m. on Route 322 and New Street in West Goshen Township. While it’s unknown who was driving at the time, an unidentified passenger also died in the crash. April Margera, the mother of Dunn’s “Jackass” co-star Bam, broke the news to WMMR 93.3’s “Preston and Steve” radio show. See photos of Ryan Dunn throughout his career. “We are devastated by the tragic loss of Ryan Dunn — a beloved member of the MTV family for more than a decade,” Van Toffler, president of MTV Networks Music/Film Group, said in a statement. “He made us all laugh and had the tireless enthusiastic approach to life of your favorite middle school friend. Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Ryan’s family and friends. The Jackass brotherhood will never be the same.” In the last photo Dunn posted to Twitter , he and two friends are seen drinking what may be alcoholic beverages. TMZ also reported that the car caught fire in the crash. A tow truck was later sent to the scene to remove the car. A photo obtained by an NBC affiliate in Pennsylvania, showed the wrecked car on the side of the road. As of press time, no further information was known about the accident. Born in Ohio, Dunn grew up in New York, before moving to West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he would hook up with Bam’s CKY Crew. He kicked off his career doing crazy stunts and skateboard tricks in a series of online videos, which eventually led to his part in MTV’s “Jackass” in 2000. The daredevil was a key member of the crew, appearing in “Jackass” spin-offs like “Viva La Bam” and “Bam’s Unholy Union,” as Bam’s sidekick and often acting as the voice of reason within the zany crew. He also had his own a short-lived home improvement show on MTV called “Homewreckers” in 2005. Dunn’s new show “Proving Ground,” in which he and co-host Jessica Chobot test out action sequences from TV, games and movies, premiered on G4 last Tuesday. When MTV News sat down with the “Jackass” crew last year, they named Dunn’s first stunt for the show as one of their favorites in 10 years of the TV show and movies. “I loved when [Bam Margera] made Ryan jump into the poo factory, the ‘Poo Dive’ I think we called it,” creator Jeff Tremaine said. ” ‘Cause that was horrible, but the best part was … revealing his tattoos that we didn’t know about. That was the first time we ever met Ryan.” He appeared in all three “Jackass” flicks and even took a stab at Hollywood, with a role in non-“Jackass” projects like the Jessica Simpson flick “Blonde Ambition” and on the NBC procedural staple “Law & Order: SVU.” Last year, Jackass 3D” found overwhelming box-office success, raking in $50 million in its first week. “Jackass 3.5: The Unrated Movie” just hit stores last week, revealing more stunts that didn’t make it into the blockbuster film. The Weinerlogues with Bill Maher and Jane Lynch

Here is the original post:

Fortunately HBO can broadcast things which the networks can’t. Bill Maher and Jane Lynch performed a reading of Anthony Weiner’s dialogue with a Las Vegas blackjack dealer named Lisa verbatim. This provides greater insight into what happened than can be obtained by the network evening news reports–plus it is hilarious to actually hear this out Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : Liberal Values Discovery Date : 11/06/2011 18:50 Number of articles : 2

Paz De La Huerta Seducing Me Crack Cocaine Styles of the Day

She should change her name to Paz De La Hurting.. I watched Boardwalk Empire. I saw her naked hipster bush. I POSTED HER HIPSTER NUDITY . I like naked hipster bush. Even if the bush was grown out for accuracy of the era. I saw her in some art fag video , even if art fag nudity generally bores me, while sex simulation generally doesn’t…. I saw her ass in panties for some for some fashion pretentious magazine…. I thought all these things were good enough…and now I have no idea what the fuck I am looking at now….Maybe she should strategically show hipster bush to distract me from that really freaky face….Is this a product of Botox, or no make-up….Is this a birth defect that make-up artists are able to cover-up before shooter….Is she not really hot ever, and I just got carried away about the tits on TV….who the fuck knows…or really cares…it’s just funny to look at this Amazing face…

Olivia Munn Does a Carl’s Jr Ad in a Bikini for PETA of the Day

Olivia Munn is one of the single worse humans out there. She’s a bottom feeding attention whore. She’s gone the “target the geeks, talk their talk, cuz they are unsuspecting and can’t get laid” route, and it worked, cuz she’s getting legit gigs for legit shows now….The whole thing almost pisses me off, but I generally don’t care. I figure if an average at best girl has the ability to make millions off her body and moderate talent that is really just a willingness to put herself out there, then let her benefit from the shit….We may not be the idiots getting her gigs, but we are the idiots the networks think love the bitch….it’s just a horrible series of events… Either way, now she’s the face of Carl’s Jr….maybe in honor of her beef curtains…maybe that beefy, cheesy smell she’s been giving off has finally been put to good use…you know cuz Carl’s Jr has done this before..with Alba, Padma, Paris Hilton, Audrina , low level scum is kinda there thing… The Genius in all this is that she was the face for PETA , one of Carl’s Jr’s biggers endorsers… Because Olivia Munn is bullshit…sure she’ll argue Carl’s Jr isn’t the circus abuse to animals, mass production of beef products is totally different, but I argue, she’ll do any job she’s given…all in efforts to get ahead. She is the worst. Here’s the actual commercial, even though Carl’s Jr isn’t paying me…

Networks Offer Scant Coverage of Liberal DREAM Act, Frothed Over Arizona Immigration Bill

For much of the spring and summer, the big broadcast networks threw staff and airtime at covering Arizona's attempt to control its borders against rampant illegal immigration. Liberals detested Arizona's “harsh” new law, so the media elite reflexively treated it as a scandal in their coverage.

Bradley Manning, alleged WikiLeaks source, set up an early Facebook? Really?

Well, it’s a strange world out there. It’s been reported that the man accused of passing thousand of secret US documents to WikiLeaks was a tech geek who set up a primitive ‘social network’ at his school, years before Facebook appeared. Private Bradley Manning joined the US Army in 2007 and was posted to Baghdad, where he worked on classified army networks. He has been linked to the publication by WikiLeaks of a video showed a US Apache helicopter attacking Iraqi citizens and two Reuters journalists (“Collateral Murder”), the Afghan War Diaries (76,000 US military documents published by WikiLeaks in July 2010), 400,000 US war logs from Iraq, and 250,000 classified US diplomatic cables. He’s currently languishing in a US jail, awaiting a military court marshall. Founder Julian Assange is currently on the Interpol Wanted list. But before all that, back in 2001, he was a 13 year old boy, newly-arrived in Wales, UK, with his mother, herself recently divorced from a US citizen. Bradley joined the Tasker Milward school in the quiet Welsh town of Haverfordwest, in the same year. Channel 4 News has revealed that he quickly developed a reputation as a geek, designing a site which supposedly anticipated social networking sites, most likely some sort of community bulletin board. Former school friend Tom Dyer told the new channel: “Overall, Bradley was renowned for his IT skills.” Channel 4 details how Manning spent his teenage years growing up as something of an outsider, and was regularly bullied, but – at least according to his old school friends – developed what they imply was a strong sense of morality. However, he eventually dropped out of school and returned to the US shortly afterwards. The rest, as they say, is history. added by: toyotabedzrock

Media Bistro’s Shister: CNN Under Klein Failed Despite ‘Non-Partisan Programming’

At Media Bistro on Friday, Gail Shister transcribed Jonathan Klein’s post-mortem spin on why he was let go from CNN/US. You see, Klein’s problem was that he “was unable to stop the prime-time bleeding with non-partisan programming.” In case any readers here might be tempted to take Klein’s contention or Shister’s transcription seriously, here are NewsBusters links to posts about Rick Sanchez , Larry King , CNN Headline’s Joy Behar , Christiane Amanpour ( before she went to ABC ), and Aaron Brown , who left CNN in late 2005. Here are several paragraphs of Shister’s schtick (bolds are mine), which you’ll see at least has an inadvertently accurate title: CNN Shift: Jon Klein on his dismissal: ‘It came out of left field’ Getting shot as a way of being fired isn’t always a bad thing, says Jonathan Klein. “It’s like a sudden ’Sopranos’ ending to your job,” says Klein, who earlier today had compared his sudden departure as CNN/U.S. president to getting shot. “There’s something to be said for quick and painless. It was surprising, but certainly quick. There was no rancor associated it.” During his six-year run, Klein was unable to stop the prime-time bleeding with non-partisan programming. Conversely, his replacement, HLN’s Ken Jautz, found great success by wrangling big-buzz opinion-makers Nancy Grace and Glenn Beck. Contrary to conventional wisdom, Klein says it is still possible for a cable news network to succeed in prime time without having a political spin a la Fox (right) or MSNBC (left). The key is in finding the right talent. “Other networks might be amusing or entertaining, but how many are truly essential viewing,” Klein says. “The challenge is to be interesting when you follow that non-partisan path and you really nail it. Then you become essential, like ’60 Minutes.'” “You need the right people in the right format. When CNN was at its best, we were essential viewing.” … CNN remains committed to non-partisan programming, Klein says. Otherwise, management would have made its move earlier, before the new schedule was locked in, he explains. Klein’s citation of ’60 Minutes’ as ‘non-partisan’ is about as ridiculous as it gets ( here’s a link to previous NewsBusters posts about “60 Minutes,” which contains over 200 entries, the vast majority of which are not complimentary), and Klein of all people should know it. In September 2004 , shortly before he joined CNN, Klein, who left CBS after 17 years in 1999, went on Fox’s O’Reilly Factor to defend a ’60 Minutes’ report on George W. Bush’s Texas Air National Guard (TANG) service. During that interview Klein criticized bloggers and others in the alternative media who had exposed clearly fraudulent documents used in that report, saying that “you couldn’t have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances, and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing what he thinks.” Klein’s reference to “60 Minutes” in the above excerpt would appear to indicate that he hasn’t gotten the message that the guys in pajamas were proven right, CBS was proven wrong, and the substance-free Bush-TANG report was a blatantly partisan pre-election hit piece. That kool-aid Klein is drinking must be really powerful stuff. A commenter at Shister’s Media Bistro post responds to Klein’s claims of non-partisanship thusly: “Just saying it over and over has never made it true and saying it now as you’re walking out the door is hilarious.” Cross-posted at BizzyBlog.com .
