He helped me do research by going to a strip club in NYC with me and we watched the show and afterwards I chatted to some of the girls. Of course he knew that world (the stripper world) very well from when he was a young athlete, going to the clubs and stuff. He helped me a lot with the preparation for this movie and was very supportive.” The Bronx beauty also dished on her awkward first date with A.Rod, but kept mum about their fairytale engagement. “Our first date wasn’t a first date but rather a meet up, but he was so awkward and cute and perfect from the first moment. I can’t disclose how the engagement happened because I have to talk to Alex before about how much he wants to disclose as well.
